Marcos saddened by Revilla arrest

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is saddened by the issuance of the arrest warrant against his ally, former senator Bong Revilla, but insisted that due process should prevail, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro says on Jan. 20, 2026. Revilla, who is facing graft and malversation charges due to a bogus P92.8 million flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan, was part of Marcos’ Senate slate in the 2025 midterm elections but failed to secure his reelection.
