Marcos: ICI nears end of flood probe  President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Jan. 16, 2026 says that the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) is nearing the completion of its investigation into the flood control scandal, saying its fate depends on its remaining work. Speaking to reporters in Mandaluyong City, the President said the commission has investigated most of the issues under its mandate. Meanwhile, Marcos said he has not decided yet if new commissioners would be appointed following the resignations of Rogelio Singson and Rossana Fajardo.
