00:00Every agency of the state government, under the leadership of Mr. Governor, Mr. Papadjede Olushora Sonwolu,
00:08have put in so much in the area of public enlightenment and engagement,
00:13in order to sensitize the people of Lagos State about safety, especially when we have a critical
00:19situation like this. There has been so many jingles and I want to appeal to the people of Lagos State
00:26to continue to support the government, instead of moving around a vehicle that is leaking diesel or
00:34petrol. The right thing is to stay away, like 100 meters away from it, and allow emergency services
00:40to move in and remove the hazard, you know, so that it won't cause any secondary hazard. So I think that
00:48is what I will employ the good people of Lagos State to ensure that they stay away from any
00:54leakage of diesel or petrol because they are highly inflammable. We cannot determine the extent
01:01of damages or wreckage it can cause. Normalcy has since returned on the axis
01:08following the accident involving a diesel tanker on Liverpool Bridge, Apapa Axis, yesterday.
01:13The message from the government is clear. Stay away from any falling tanker, diesel or petrol.
01:19Scoping of wealth endangers your life. Be responsible. Help the government as it
01:24converts emergency services.
