A group of 235 Venezuelans deported from the United States landed at Maiquetía International Airport in La Guaira on Monday under Venezuela’s “Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria” repatriation program. The flight, numbered 100 in the government’s return initiative, carried 219 men and 16 women who received medical and security assistance upon arrival, officials said. The repatriation flights resumed as part of an agreement between the U.S. and Venezuelan authorities aimed at facilitating the return of Venezuelan nationals.
