00:00Chile has declared a state of catastrophe and reported at least 19 deaths and over 1,500 people affected due to wildfires in the Nubile and Bío Bío regions.
00:09In this scenario, the Nubile region is on red alert, with more than 4,700 hectares affected by the flames.
00:15Meanwhile, in the Bío Bío region, over 2,900 hectares have already burned.
00:20According to the Disaster Prevention and Response Service, a total of 23 fires are currently active and being fought,
00:25seven in Nubile and seven in Bío Bío, five in Araucanía in the south and the rest in various regions across the country.
00:33National authorities have also confirmed 630 people in shelters, 350 homes completely destroyed and 1,000 homes under evaluation.
