The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) reported that throughout 2025 Ukrainian drones were employed in operations that resulted in the destruction of dozens of Russian air defense systems.

According to the agency, the actions targeted different layers of the air surveillance and interception network.

Images released by the SSU indicate the destruction of four 92N6E engagement radars and one 96L6E radar station, components of the S-400 Triumph surface-to-air missile system, as well as three vehicles belonging to the complex. Two 9S32 engagement radars from the S-300V system, designed to detect and engage ballistic targets, were also reportedly neutralized.

According to the statement, Ukrainian drones additionally struck a Buk-M1/2 air defense system, including the 9S36(M) engagement and tracking radar and the 9A39 launcher-loader.

The published assessment further mentions the destruction of three Pantsir-S2 systems, two Tor-M2 units, one Tor-M2D, as well as ST-68 and P-18 Terek radars and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun.

The Nebo radar system also reportedly suffered significant losses. The SSU claims that two Nebo-M command posts, four Nebo-U complexes, two Nebo-SVU units, and Nebo-M radar modules in the decimeter and meter bands were destroyed during the operations.

Finally, the statement notes that Ukrainian drones struck less common Russian radars identified as Adversary-GE and Gamma-D. The information and images released originate from the Security Service of Ukraine and have not been independently verified.
