01:17Ordinary Iranians are facing 40 percent inflation and a crippling cost-of-living crisis.
01:23To try to stop the spread of protest coordination, Iran imposed a nationwide internet blackout,
01:29leaving families abroad unable to contact loved ones and cutting Iranians off from the world.
01:36Instead of addressing domestic grievances, state media and officials have blamed terrorist
01:42agents from the United States and Israel for sparking the violence, accusing them of fanning
01:47the flames from abroad.
01:49In his first address since the unrest began, Supreme Leader Khamenei labeled protesters saboteurs
01:55working for foreign powers and defiantly said the Islamic Republic would not back down.

02:36pride, he sits there passing judgment on the entire world.
02:42He should also be well aware that typically the most tyrannical despots and arrogant oppressors
02:47throughout history, from the likes of Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Khan, Muhammad Reza, and countless
02:53others of their kind were ultimately overthrown and brought down from power precisely when
02:57they believed themselves to be at the absolute pinnacle of their pride and unyielding arrogance.
03:02This one too is going to be overthrown.
03:06Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump up to the pressure, warning that if Iran violently
03:13kills peaceful demonstrators, the US could intervene or impose severe consequences, a stark
03:19stance that Tehran claims is encouraging the unrest.
03:23This moment comes just months after a major June conflict involving Israel and the US striking
03:29Iranian nuclear sites, a shock that weakened Tehran's defenses and heightened regional tensions.
03:36But many Iranians say this uprising isn't about foreign agendas.
03:41It's about deep economic pain, decades of repression, and a generation unwilling to stay silent.
03:48Activists abroad stress that the protests are organic and driven by real grievances, even
03:53if foreign players amplify them.
03:56Is this a genuine popular revolt, a geopolitical proxy clash, or a volatile mix of both?
