00:00Bears, Rams, you have been waiting for this one, I know,
00:06because last week you said it, you screamed it from the mountaintops,
00:10not just that the Bears would beat the Green Bay Packers,
00:14but that when they did, the Chicago Bears would become your team.
00:18That Streetball Williams, as you call them, would become your guy.
00:22So, Joe, the floor is yours.
00:24Bears at home against the Big Bad Rams.
00:27Yeah, it's a great matchup.
00:28And, again, I think people are discounting the Bears' win last week
00:32and saying it has more to do with potentially Matt LaFleur
00:36and what he didn't do in the second half.
00:38And I understand that to a certain degree,
00:41but I also buy into the fact that Chicago was able to make both offense
00:45and defensive adjustments to put themselves in a position.
00:49And, again, I believe in this offensive identity.
00:52And what I do feel is important, and we talk about OCs
00:56and we talk about head coaches, especially the ones that do call their own plays,
01:01like McVay and, obviously, you know, Ben Johnson.
01:04And my point is, you know, Ben Johnson sort of felt out Green Bay last week.
01:09You know, and they were relentless in the second half of that game.
01:15And what I mean by that is there are certain teams that attack sideline to sideline
01:21that love bubble screens, and then there's teams that attack vertically.
01:25And I love the teams that attack vertically when they have a quarterback
01:28because they're able to get back into games quicker,
01:31and they're able to just challenge and stress no matter how dominant the defense is
01:36at every level.
01:37And when you have playmakers and running backs, more importantly,
01:40that can catch, like Monungay, like DeAndre Swift,
01:44it really stresses a defense and can gas them in critical parts of a game.
01:49And I just believe Chicago now has that offensive identity.
01:53I consider them the team like Washington last year
01:57that just caught fire at just the right time.
02:00They have a hot quarterback that now all of a sudden
02:03is confident in the philosophy, is confident that he's the guy
02:08that is confident on the quarterback-to-wide receiver relationship
02:11and has built multiple just unbelievable talent around.
02:17Like, he's elevated Colston Lovelland to now that star tight end.
02:22He's elevated Adunze.
02:24He's gotten DJ Moore back involved in that.
02:27I'm just so impressed more with Chicago than I am with L.A.
02:32And I'll just say this.
02:34I think people are discounting the fact of how cold this game will be today.
02:39And I understand that Stafford's played in it, Kyron's played in it,
02:43Devontae, Gold Cross, Puka, and Blake Corham.
02:46I all get that.
02:47They played in either college or the NFL.
02:51But, and they played last year in this environment with Philly.
02:56But I think this is a tall order.
02:58I really do.
02:59And, again, I'm not sold on L.A.'s defense being elite.
03:03I think they've been actually exposed.
03:06And this is where I do give the edge to Ben Johnson now.
03:09And people will say, well, McVay's talking to LaFleur.
03:12Let him talk to LaFleur.
03:13LaFleur got his ass kicked last week in the second half.
03:17You know?
03:17I mean, Ben Johnson is a cocky play caller.
03:21But he's also got talent and a quarterback that's humming.
03:25And I'm going to take those points today.
03:26Dutch.
