00:00My name is Brian Johnson. I am the CEO co-founder here at LORIC Games, a small independent game studio made by gamers.
00:10Echoes of Elysium is our first project, an airship survival RPG, where we want our players to get into the skies and play an airship game where the airship really truly is the center, their base, and learn to survive and thrive in the skies of a Greek afterlife.
00:28The new launch date is January 27th. For early access, we plan to launch with English, Chinese, both traditional and simplified, Brazilian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Japanese, and we look to have a quick, very fast follow-on with German, and then we'll be adding more languages throughout the year.
00:46We're a small team, and we've been building this game for the last couple of years, so we don't have the budget to really throw at completing the game fully and then releasing it.
00:56And actually, to be fair, even if we did, I'm not sure that we'd want to, because so many times in our history as game developers, we spend forever building a game, and we do it in a vacuum without our community, and we end up building something that we enjoy, but maybe the world doesn't.
01:10And so this is a change in that. We want, we're taking our game to early access because we want to build this game with our community.
01:17We hope that players are going to come and see our game and see that we've really focused on trying to make a game that is about surviving on the airships with your friend and thriving in this beautiful world that we've developed that's really focused on being bright and airy and accessible.
01:33But also, for those of you who joined early, you'll get a 10% discount on the game. We know that you might run into more bugs early on as we continue to press things up, so we want to reward you for that.
