Elon Musk is going viral after claiming that saving for retirement may soon be unnecessary because artificial intelligence will create a future of abundance.

Speaking on a podcast, the billionaire predicted that AI could surpass human intelligence by 2030 and fundamentally change money, work, and retirement planning.

However, financial and AI experts strongly disagree, warning that people should continue saving and not rely on speculative AI-driven economic shifts.

00:00One like side recommendation I have is like don't worry about like squirreling money away for
00:03retirement in like 10 or 20 years for one matter.
00:06So understandably so Elon Musk is now going viral and trending for those comments he recently made
00:11on the Moonshots podcast. Elon is claiming that with all of the advances that are happening in AI
00:16saving for retirement will become unnecessary because people will be able to get whatever
00:20they need. Later on in this podcast Elon says that by 2030 he feels that AI will be smarter than all
00:26humans combined and that it could provide housing health care and even entertainment just
00:32automatically. Now both retirement and AI experts are pushing back on Elon Musk's comments saying
00:38they strongly disagree and people should absolutely still be saving for retirement. A lot of people are
00:43also categorizing his comments as dangerous and unrealistic because experts claim even if AI can
00:49create massive wealth experts say that retirement and security still depends on governmental policies
00:54not on just AI alone. But what do you think of Elon Musk telling people to stop saving for
00:59retirement? Let us know your thoughts and for more trending news follow us at What's Trending.
