00:09There is absolutely potential that he could be a liability at third, no doubt.
00:12I mean, when you look at his metrics at shortstop this past season,
00:15he was defensively the worst in baseball per outs above average on baseball savant.
00:19But I will say that transition at third base,
00:21which is naturally a less grueling position than shortstop, less range,
00:25should bode him well.
00:26You know, there's a lot of question marks as to how will his arm hold up,
00:28how is he going to naturally get the groundwork and in transition?
00:32Is this something that he's been working on quite a bit that we haven't really known about?
00:35And I'm sure that has been true to a degree.
00:37So I'd imagine that Bichette has had a level of body of work at third base,
00:41just not at the major league level right now.
00:43So it will be really indicative to see how that transition begins
00:46as we get into spring training, which, as you know, Brandon, isn't far away.
