00:00At present, there are regulations in place on areas such as single stock products and leverage.

00:08With respect to these issues, we are actively reviewing ways to gradually ease such restrictions

00:13by amending relevant laws and regulations in stages.

00:16At the same time, we aim to align our framework with leading international stock markets

00:21so that domestic investors can take on similar risks and invest not only overseas but also within Korea.

00:27We are actively examining ways to expand investment opportunities in those areas.

00:34To move forward with this, certain legal and regulatory revisions are required.

00:40We are currently in close consultation with policy authorities on how far those amendments should go.

00:45As such, it is difficult for me to give a definitive timeline at this stage,

00:49but I believe these measures are likely to be institutionalized in the near future.

00:57There have been considerable demand from domestic asset managers for the permission to launch such products.

01:02Once it becomes institutionally possible, I believe asset managers will rapidly commercialize them

01:08even without active encouragement from policy makers or the exchange.
