Multisectoral group calls for Marcos resignation and for Sara to take over
A multisectoral group called 'Save The Philippines Coalition,' has called for the resignation of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and is pushing for Vice President Sara Duterte to succeed him during a press conference in San Juan City on Nov. 28, 2025. The group's chairman, Datu Mus Lidasan, said that Marcos has to resign to allow Duterte to impose necessary reforms amid the continuing flood control scandal that has rocked his administration. The group also denied claims that it was funded by China to topple the Marcos administration.
