00:00Josh Hart as a playmaker is pretty damn dope.

00:03Josh Hart is a good secondary playmaker,

00:06particularly when the ball gets out of Jalen Brunson's hands.

00:11He is sort of that release valve.

00:13He can have a lot of things happen when you get a 4-3 action,

00:15Jalen Brunson gets blitzed.

00:17A lot of good things happen when Josh Hart has it.

00:19And when they didn't have that during that eight-game stretch, Brian,

00:22you saw them struggle at times, especially when Brunson got blitzed,

00:25especially against some good defensive teams.

00:26Would you like some other guys to step up, like a Mikael Bridges?

00:30Sure.

00:31But they're really not as good as Josh Hart is at that.

00:34He's making the most out of possessions in a way that not many Knicks have been.

00:39That's not to really knock the rest of the team.

00:44Frankly, I don't know how many people expected Josh Hart to be this this season

00:49they had a sour taste after the playoffs.

00:51They were like, oh, they should trade him.

00:52He was doing dumb shit in the playoffs.

00:54You know, he might be falling off a cliff because of the health things.

00:58And then we came into the season being like,

01:00he's probably the guy that's going to take a big step back in minutes.

01:02And it looked that way in the beginning.

01:04And then they were like, you know what, Josh,

01:07we need to put you in the starting lineup.

01:09And he started doing Josh Hart again.

01:10And then we're like, you know,
