A fight between two girls on a public road has led the Aligarh Police to uncover a major organized prostitution network operating within the city.
In a swift operation carried out by the Bannadevi Police Station, raids were conducted at Chauhan Complex Skyway Hotel and Maraki Hotel. A total of 15 individuals—8 men and 7 women—were arrested from the premises in objectionable conditions.
🚨 Key Details of the Raid: Location: Bannadevi Police Station Area, Aligarh (UP). Hotels Raided: Skyway Hotel & Maraki Hotel. The Masterminds: The racket was allegedly run by hotel owners Ravindra Singh Anand, Rahul Vashishtha, and Shubham Sharma. Network: Women were reportedly trafficked from Jharkhand and Delhi. 🔍 Significant Recoveries: The police recovered ₹58,070 in cash, 17 mobile phones, 2 visitor registers, ATM cards, swipe machines, and a Verna car. Notably, 3 Press ID cards were also found, suggesting the accused may have been posing as journalists. ⚖️ Legal Action: FIR No. 33/2026 has been registered under Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act.
