The stars turned out in style last night for the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala, held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Among the 2025 National Board of Review honorees were Leonardo DiCaprio, who received Best Actor for One Battle After Another ; Rose Byrne, awarded Best Actress for If I Had Legs I'd Kick You ; Benicio Del Toro, who took home Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another ; and Chase Infiniti, honored with Breakthrough Performance for the same film. Clint Bentley and Greg Kwedar were also recognized, winning Best Adapted Screenplay for Train Dreams . The gala drew an impressive crowd, with Stellan Skarsgård, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Peter Sarsgaard among the notable attendees. Willie Geist hosted the evening, guiding the celebration of cinematic artistry with warmth and humor. Presenting awards throughout the night were Emily Blunt, Joel Edgerton, Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku, and several other distinguished guests, making the event a memorable tribute to the power of film.
