00:00The island of Sodor is home to lots of Thomas' friends.
00:12Friends on the rails, friends on the roads, and even some friends in the air.
00:18They are all very different, and each very special.
00:23And they are all Thomas' friends.
00:25Thomas always looks forward to seeing his narrow-gauge friends.
00:31The narrow-gauge engines are little.
00:34Thomas is a lot bigger.
00:37But sometimes big engines don't know as much as their little friends.
00:42One day, Thomas went to the wharf to pick up Sir Topham Hatt's Christmas tree.
00:49Sir Handel had delivered the tree to the wharf.
00:53But Thomas didn't know where to find it.
00:56He told Duncan he was looking for a Christmas tree.
01:01Cheeky Duncan made fun of Thomas.
01:04That made Thomas cross.
01:09So Thomas decided not to ask any of the little engines to help him find the tree.
01:16Not even Sir Handel.
01:18At last, Thomas was sure he'd found the Christmas tree.
01:31He puffed proudly out of the warehouse.
01:37Then, there was trouble.
01:39Thomas was huffing and puffing so fast, he didn't look where he was going.
01:44Thomas gasped.
01:50He hadn't found the Christmas tree at all.
01:53It was a load of pipes.
01:56Thomas had to find the Christmas tree straight away.
02:00He knew he needed the help of his friends, the little engines.
02:05Sir Handel showed Thomas where he had left the tree.
02:08And that night, the lights were switched on.
02:14The Christmas tree sparkled and shone.
02:21And Thomas tooted thank you to his narrow-gauge friends.
02:27Thomas likes to help them, too.
02:29One day, Thomas tried to give Skarloey the best day he had ever had.
02:37Skarloey was sad.
02:38He had broken down.
02:41Thomas had to pull Skarloey to the mender's yard.
02:45Thomas wanted his friend to be happy.
02:47So, on the way, Thomas decided to show Skarloey the best sights of Sodor.
02:55Thomas took Skarloey to the Scottish castle.
02:59To Shen Valley.
03:04And even to the top of Gordon's Hill.
03:09But Skarloey wasn't excited.
03:11He had seen castles, valleys, and hills.
03:18Now, Thomas was late.
03:20He had to take Skarloey the quickest way to the mender's yard.
03:24It was the coast track.
03:26Thomas used this track every day.
03:29Suddenly, Skarloey smiled from buffered a fender.
03:33There was no seaside in the hills.
03:36For Skarloey, this was the best sight of all.
03:38He was very excited.
03:42And Thomas was delighted.
03:45He could see his friend was happy.
03:47And that made Thomas happy, too.
03:50Whenever Thomas goes to visit his narrow-gauge friends,
03:54he finds something new.
03:56Learns something new.
03:58Or sees something new.
04:02And that makes all the little engines
04:05very special friends of Thomas.
04:08All right.
04:12Let's go.
04:14Let's go.
04:27Let's go.
