USC Trojans basketball coach Eric Musselman discusses their offensive rebounding. Musselman talks about about how turnovers are still a problem but he loved the activity on the offensive glass.

00:00Yeah, one thing you always talk about is quitting the rebounding war.

00:03I believe you guys did that tonight.

00:04What has been your strategy to be able to combat that?

00:07You've actually been the top 42 to 33.

00:10What has been the work you've been putting in for your rebounding war?

00:12Yeah, just the plus nine on the glass was super important for us.

00:16The turnovers are still a problem.

00:18We've got to do a better job taking care of the ball.

00:20But loved our activity on the offensive glass with 15-0 boards.

00:25The first half we shot 50% from the field,

00:28and then the second half 39%.

00:31But a lot of that's playing a big lineup.

00:33Sometimes our spacing's not what it needs to be.

00:36And I thought Brunel came in and just hit an absolutely huge three for us

00:41after sitting for a long time.

00:44And then you guys have been on the road for Big Ten play

00:46for four out of the first five games.

00:48We're going to have a three-game stretch here at home.

00:50What does that mean for the team?

00:51We kind of get to reset.

00:52Yeah, I think, one, just to get four road games out of the way this early

00:56is going to benefit us down the road.

01:01Obviously, last year we learned the toughest game

01:03was the game back home after these long trips.

01:05So we've got to get some rest.

01:06We've got to regroup.

01:07We've got to get ready for Maryland.

01:09That'll be a very big game for us midweek next week.

01:12But, look, we lost at Michigan.

01:14We lost at Michigan State.

01:15There's going to be a lot of teams that lose at those two places.

01:18We've got a quad one win tonight.

01:20And we're 2-2 on the road in the Big Ten,

01:22which is super important.

01:26And we're going to have a quad one win tonight.
