Attendee captures the moment veteran jockey Blake Shinn suffered a scary fall during competitive Melbourne Cup race

Calling horse racing a risky sport would be an understatement, and incidents like the one captured in this video show exactly why.

"This was taken at Melbourne Cup Race 9 on Tuesday, 4th November," the filmer, Ashley, told WooGlobe. "This is the fall that led to veteran jockey Blake Shinn being taken to the hospital."
