John Whitaker experiences abrupt fall while performing at Horse of the Year Show

Even the best have off days, and this video proves it.

"I was watching show jumping at HOYS when this happened," the filmer, Kirsty, told WooGlobe. "John Whitaker has always been my idol, so as soon as he came into the ring, I began recording."

After delivering an impressive performance as always, Whitaker misjudges a stride, resulting in a fall.

Thankfully, he gets up right away, and to show that one mistake doesn't tarnish his legacy, the crowd gives him a warm ovation as he walks back.
