00:05you didn't really immerse yourself in pop culture or have even like a chance to until way later.
00:09Yeah, it was really a culture shock coming into the music industry just
00:14because I just wasn't aware of so many things. I think being immersed in dance so heavily,
00:21so many historic films and ballets and dances I would watch on the regular
00:28and I wasn't watching as much pop culture. It was so much study of my current craft and I thought
00:36that was what I was going to do for the rest of my life. But now I'm really grateful for that
00:40because I feel like it gives me a different perspective. And now obviously I know so much
00:44about pop culture and I feel like I've seen everything now.
