00:19Hi, my name is Tate McRae.

00:22Born in Calgary, Alberta on Canada Day in 2003, Tate began dancing at 6 years old.

00:28She went on to place 3rd in the 13th season of the dance competition show So You Think You Can Dance,

00:34advancing further in the competition than any other Canadian in the show's history.

00:39Tate joined the world of YouTube by creating her YouTube channel in 2011,

00:43which primarily started as a place to show off her dancing skills.

00:47In 2017, she started her Create with Tate video series

00:51that focused on showcasing her original songs she wrote and recorded in her bedroom,

00:55including her song One Day.
