00:00Hey there, I'm Evgeny Gullier, Community Manager on Quarantine Zone, and we here at
00:08Brigada Games are so excited that our game has finally launched.
00:11There's been a lot of work put into the game since our initial demo blew up, so we thought
00:16it would be nice to share some of our favorite tips and details.
00:20Checking survivors for signs of infection is your main charge in Quarantine Zone, but
00:24it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
00:26If someone looks suspicious but there are no definitive signs of infection, put them
00:30in Quarantine and check on them the next day, to see how the symptoms have developed, or
00:34gone away completely.
00:36Forgetting to do so could lead to less than desirable results for you and their roommates
00:40in Quarantine.
00:41The card from the demo proved to be a fan favorite, but was a bit cumbersome, so we streamlined
00:45managing the base, primarily through the use of tablet.
00:48However, we went ahead and left the card in for the players to use and even added a drift
00:53option for some fast and furious base management needs.
00:57Another tip.
00:58Be sure to compare the coloration of survivor's skin at the checkpoint versus the photo on file
01:03in your tablet.
01:04If it differs, that should raise suspicion of infection, assuming they didn't just get
01:08a nice tan on vacation.
01:10During your campaign, you'll be able to unlock a UV light at the checkpoint that can highlight
01:15symptoms that might not be apparent with other tools.
01:18Use it to your advantage when inspecting survivors, plus it just looks really cool and makes Georgie
01:23feel like he is back in the club.
01:25And don't forget about checking survivors' backs for contraband too.
01:29They try to bring in items and keepsakes from their lives and some can be pretty strange
01:33or downright dangerous.
01:35Confiscate what you need and be sure to use that UV light to see if otherwise harmless items
01:40are actually infected.
01:41Speaking of additional symptom checks, the medical hammer can be pretty useful when no visible
01:46signs of infection are apparent, but do be careful that hammer is serious business and
01:51you're not a doctor.
01:53Irresponsible use of hammer could lead to catastrophic results.
01:56No one wants to get sent to the liquidation chamber, so keep an eye on survivors you condemn
02:01to termination.
02:02They could turn on you and the security staff.
02:05That's why you're given a sidearm.
02:07We've added little side quests to spice up your main goals in the game.
02:11One example is the survivor that starts putting provocative graffiti around the base that
02:16is causing some unease with the inhabitants.
02:18In this side quest you'll need to track down how they got spraypaint and find the responsible
02:23survivor and shut them down.
02:26We had a lot of fun adding in cameos from some of our favorite streamers and YouTubers
02:30from around the world.
02:31Many provided their own voiceover in their native language and we've intentionally not localized
02:36them at all to keep the feeling of an international quarantine zone where not everyone speaks
02:41the same language.
02:42There's also a few cameos from our favorite zombie franchises with a lot more to come in
02:47the future.
02:48This is just a small sample of what quarantine zone has to offer and we'll have more to share
02:52in the near future.
