00:01As conditions continue to deteriorate in Iran following protests that have been ongoing for nearly three weeks,
00:08several countries have urged their citizens to leave Tehran immediately.
00:13Among them is the United States, which said that citizens, as well as dual U.S.-Iranian nationals,
00:20should leave Iran via Armenia or Turkey.
00:23The Australian government has also joined the call.
00:27The move comes amid rising regional tensions,
00:31especially after the U.S. president signaled that he might intervene, even militarily,
00:36to end the crackdown faced by protesters at the hands of the regime,
00:41following the killing and injury of dozens of people.
00:44Meanwhile, Tehran has accused Washington of fueling the unrest in an attempt to destabilize the country.
