Defence Force may be on cloud nine but they are more foced on being number one.

Well the Tetron club did both yesterday as they won their ninth straight match to return to the top of the TTPFL standings.

Veteran Kevin Molino was on target in the 3-1 victory over San Juan Jabloteh at the Ato Boldon stadium.

And former champions AC Port of Spain returned to winning ways with a smilar scoreline over last season's runner up Central FC.

The victory only the fifth for the Capital club after eleven matches

00:00Winners of their last eight league matches, defense force were hoping to make it nine straight against San Juan Jablote.
00:07The defending champs started on the front foot but were denied by a fine piece of shot stopping.
00:14The San Juan Kings came close to scoring as well but were denied by the crossbar.
00:21After a goal at first 45, Sheldon Batou broke it open for the army men.
00:30But just like that, the goals started flowing as Tyrese Bailey provided a two-goal cushion.
00:38A cushion they needed after former Tetron striker Isaiah Leacock scored for Jablote.
00:47But Skipper Molino pounced on a dreadful error to kill off Jablote's comeback plans.
00:52The 3-1 win, the ninth straight for defense force to send them back into top spot.
01:02The earlier match between Central FC and AC Porta Spain saw two clubs desperate for consistency.
01:09An early penalty call though was wasted as the keeper did his job.
01:12But Fatima striker Seth Hadid showed his touch in the box to give the capital club a deserved lead.
01:21His 18-minute opener was followed by a quality volley and finish from Nathan Lewis seven minutes later.
01:28But the Central Sharks took a bite into the lead thanks to a striker's finish from Kadeem Corbin.
01:33A rash tackle and red card hindered Central FC's hope of a comeback.
01:45And Joshua Miguel scored from close range to wrap up the victory for AC Porta Spain in added-on time.
01:51The 3-1 win ensuring the capital club leapfrogged Central FC into fifth place.
