Pep Lijnders targets ‘finals’ as Man City hammer Exeter in FA Cup

00:00Yeah, where to start? I think we are now 12 games unbeaten.

00:04The last three games we wanted, of course, we created the chances to score more,

00:11to score more goals and to win the game.

00:13That would already create a different position in the league.

00:16But overall, I think we have a really special group.

00:21The amount of experienced players who take lead of the team,

00:24the way they guide all the others, the way new players are settling in, the energy.

00:32And then I'm not talking only about the games, but especially training in the training centre.

00:39It's special and we want to reach finals this year and we are on the way.

00:45We play now semi-final for the League Cup, we go around further here in the FA Cup

00:50and we are in the Champions League, of course, in a good position.

00:53We want to build on that, but for us the most important, I think Pep says it all the time,

00:57we want to grow, we want to build, we want to make the next step as a team.

01:00And for that we need to keep working hard and take nothing for granted

01:05and approach the next game as a final and that will be Newcastle.

01:11And with this we will grow and we will make the next step.
