00:00I am a gigantic quilted blanket job.
00:02And then bam!
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:06And today, we're counting down our picks
00:08for the biggest fashion crimes ever committed
00:10on the RuPaul's Drag Race and All-Stars main stage.
00:14I am feeling my feather fantasy,
00:16showgirling my arms down the runway.
00:19I'm loving it.
00:21Number 50, Evie Oddly's Vanna White Realness.
00:25The all-winner's season delivered some of the most
00:27sophisticated runway looks in all of Drag Race herstory.
00:30But a few head-scratchers still slipped through the cracks.
00:34Tasked with serving a look inspired by Vanna White,
00:37virtually all of the queens nailed the brief,
00:39except Evie Oddly.
00:41The category is Vanna White Realness,
00:43and this is my interpretation.
00:45I never wear wigs this big.
00:47She came out in a short green dress with a feathered train
00:50that looked absolutely nothing like what Vanna White would wear.
00:53Then, instead of sleek, glamorous locks,
00:56she opted for a massive red wig that drew all of the attention,
01:00and not in a good way.
01:02Ginger? I hardly even know her.
01:04Evie claimed this was her interpretation of Vanna White,
01:07but it neither read Vanna nor Evie.
01:09At this point, you have to wonder,
01:11has she ever actually watched Wheel of Fortune?
01:14I love green and red hair together,
01:16this beautiful combination.
01:17I really didn't get Vanna White,
01:18but I did like what it was.
01:21Number 49, RosƩ's Yellow Gorgeous Look.
01:24In 2021, Drag Race got its own version
01:27of the blue and black or white and gold dress debate
01:30when RosƩ walked the runway in the Rusical episode.
01:34The theme called for yellow,
01:35and RosƩ strutted out in an interpretation
01:38of the classic yellow zoot suit from The Mask.
01:41My yellow look is a tribute to Jim Carrey in The Mask.
01:46I've turned the zoot suit into a little three-piece number.
01:49Cute idea, except under the stage lights,
01:51that yellow read a little more orange.
01:54Even Michelle Visage pointed that out.
01:56I just have one question.
01:57Yeah.
01:58Why is it orange?
02:00Oh, Michelle, I don't think it's orange.
02:02But beyond the color confusion,
02:04the silhouette felt clunky.
02:05The oversized collar and heavy pleats
02:08made the gown look bulky,
02:09and the makeup just wasn't flattering on her.
02:12Perhaps a well-tailored pantsuit
02:14could have sold the concept with a lot more glamour.
02:17But alas, we'll never know.
02:18Instead of yellow gorgeous,
02:20this landed somewhere closer to mustard meh.
02:23I'll be honest, it like, it's definitely giving,
02:27like here, here's like a true yellow.
02:29So it's definitely giving like a mandarin
02:31compared to like this canary.
02:34Number 48.
02:36Valentina's padded for the gods look.
02:38Sometimes, a queen has the right concept,
02:40but fumbles the execution.
02:42For the swerves and curves padded for the gods runway,
02:45Valentina presented a deconstructed look
02:48that was supposed to show the padding queens wear
02:50under all that glamour.
02:52We are going behind the seams,
02:54and I'm showing you everything that drag is
02:56before it becomes the final piece.
02:59However, what she delivered looked messy.
03:01The supposed padding didn't read as padding at all,
03:04but more like random scraps of fabric pinned to the dress.
03:07Then the random loose threads and measuring tape
03:10felt like she just glued everything she saw
03:12on the workroom to the dress without actually thinking it through.
03:16The lack of a wig further cheapened the look,
03:18especially since queens don't wear padding on their heads.
03:21On another person,
03:22this definitely would have been read as arts and crafts.
03:25Listen, I don't get it.
03:27I don't think that it necessarily fits
03:28with the swerves and curves and pads.
03:30To me, it doesn't quite work.
03:32Number 47.
03:34James Mansfield's Grace Jones.
03:36For someone who is considered a fashion icon,
03:39Grace Jones was done a huge disservice on All-Stars 8
03:42when the queens were asked to channel her most unforgettable looks.
03:46Tonight on the runway,
03:47category is Night of a Thousand Grace Joneses.
03:52Overall, the runway was a letdown,
03:54but one queen took the crown for the absolute worst,
03:57and that was James Mansfield.
04:00I adore this look because I love any opportunity
04:03to dress up like a supervillain.
04:04I am serving you a waterfall of fox fur.
04:09Inspired by a lesser-known ensemble
04:11featuring a lycra bodysuit and a foxtail train,
04:14James's outfit clearly looked like the inspiration,
04:17just in the worst way possible.
04:19Not only was the bodysuit terribly ill-fitting,
04:21but the foxtail train was so bulky,
04:24it practically swallowed her hole on the runway.
04:26I think the issue with this outfit,
04:28it's a little bit loose where it shouldn't be loose
04:30and not perfect.
04:32It's just like giving me a really meaty pullback tuck.
04:36You can see my camel lips?
04:38Unsurprisingly,
04:39it contributed to her placement in the bottom two,
04:41which resulted in her eventual elimination.
04:44Number 46, Dita Ritz's girly girl couture.
04:48In season four,
04:49no one delivered a more spirited lip sync than Dita Ritz,
04:52but at the same time,
04:53no one served mall drag better,
04:55or should we say worse, than her.
04:58Don't you, ladies?
04:59Her entrance look was perhaps the most off-the-rack ensemble
05:03we've seen since Rebecca Glasscock,
05:05but somehow she managed to one-up it
05:07with her girly girl couture number,
05:09for which she wore the same shake-and-go wig.
05:12Not even the black bow could stop us from recognizing it.
05:15I'm giving fish, I'm giving face,
05:17I'm giving you Vogue.
05:18I know my runway is fierce.
05:20The dress itself didn't do her any favors.
05:22It was plain, shapeless,
05:24and utterly failed to hit the girly glamour brief.
05:26This might have worked if the category was
05:28straight guy doing drag for Halloween,
05:30but it wasn't,
05:31so this was a straight-up chop.
05:33Now, why'd you choose this as your girly look?
05:35I'm really channeling Carrie Bradshaw,
05:37so I thought downtown New York very chic.
05:39Number 45,
05:40Maya Iman-Lepage,
05:421980 DragCon look.
05:44AI is coming for our jobs.
05:46Yes, even you, designers who conceptualize looks
05:49for drag race queens.
05:50For this runway,
05:51the queens had to present what they'd wear to DragCon
05:54if it had happened in 1980.
05:56According to Maya Iman-Lepage,
05:58she did a quick Google search
06:00and elevated the results she saw.
06:02I literally Googled DragCon 1980s
06:05and this look popped up.
06:06I wanted to add more to the look,
06:08so I added the flowers on the shoulders.
06:10However, fans dug around
06:11and found her likely inspiration,
06:13an AI image by digital artist Elliot Baker,
06:17imagining what drag race
06:18might have looked like in the 80s.
06:20Maya's outfit was an exact replica
06:22that didn't elevate it in any way,
06:24but actually made it look worse.
06:26Like most AI renderings,
06:28hers felt like a jumble of mismatched pieces
06:30with no clear reference.
06:32Lose the oversized hair
06:33and you'd hardly guess
06:34it was supposed to be 80s-themed.
06:36Ms. Patti LaBelle hair is life.
06:38The makeup is gorgeous.
06:39But I would have liked to have seen you
06:41corseted in this look.
06:43It would have been like,
06:45gooped.
06:46Number 44,
06:47Ms. Cracker's Hairkini.
06:49We certainly commend Ms. Cracker
06:51for making an outfit almost entirely
06:53out of braided blonde hair.
06:55But that is the only commendable thing
06:56about this look.
06:57Today, I'm giving you a cute little doll
07:00in a swimsuit braided entirely from blonde hair.
07:03This is my chance to show
07:04that I can do literally anything
07:07with a packet of braiding hair.
07:08A little padding could have gone a long way,
07:10but as Ms. Cracker failed to wear any,
07:13the outfit ended up looking shapeless.
07:15That and the fact that the bikini
07:17and her blonde wig
07:18blended a bit too much with her skin tone
07:20caused her to almost vanish on the runway.
07:22Even worse, the green hair skirt,
07:24which could have added some much-needed contrast,
07:27wasn't properly incorporated into the outfit,
07:29so it felt more like an afterthought,
07:31while her other two looks for the ball hit the mark,
07:34Ms. Cracker clearly Ms. understood
07:36the assignment in this category.
07:38Who wants to go to the beach
07:39with hair all over themselves?
07:40Covered in hair.
07:41Yeah, the idea is to rid yourself of hair, I suppose.
07:43Before you go, depending on what beach you go to.
07:45Number 43, Carrie Colby's Spring Has Sprung.
07:48For much of her season,
07:50Carrie Colby was criticized
07:51for relying too much on being pretty.
07:53I think for you, Carrie,
07:55you want to be beautiful all the time.
07:58Yes.
07:58And I'm here to tell you,
08:00you are.
08:02So let's just throw that away.
08:04So for the spring has sprung runway,
08:06she decided to shake things up
08:08with a look that wasn't conventionally beautiful.
08:10Unfortunately, her flower fantasy ensemble
08:12wasn't so much avant-garde
08:14as it was just plain ugly.
08:16I really do feel like I was able
08:18to step out of my comfort zone,
08:20both in my challenge and in this runway.
08:22And you know what?
08:23It's kind of fun.
08:24The bunched up flowers at the top
08:25lacked any sort of polish,
08:27random fabric dangled from her arm,
08:29and the bottom half look unfinished.
08:32Even if this was made in the workroom,
08:33it still would have been a chop.
08:35The fact that she had the time
08:36to assemble a spring-ready look from home
08:38and went with this
08:40calls into question
08:41her fashion-forward Colby bloodline.
08:44Her mother, Sasha,
08:45certainly wasn't proud,
08:46and we weren't either.
08:48It's just not fitted enough for me.
08:51I think there's like a-
08:52waist up.
08:53The bottom half of it
08:54is problematic for me.
08:55Like, I almost feel like
08:57she could have just bodysuited that.
08:59Number 42.
09:00Plasma's Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
09:03How do you even justify
09:03wearing this on the drag race runway?
09:06The challenge called for a look
09:07inspired by a nursery rhyme.
09:09Plasma went with Tweedledum and Tweedledee,
09:11hoping to merge both characters
09:12into a single groundbreaking ensemble.
09:15I'm wearing a puppet over my stomach.
09:17I'm both top and bottom.
09:20And mama, that is not usually
09:21where we find ourselves.
09:22So I'm giving you a little bit
09:23of versatility today.
09:25That might have been clever on paper,
09:27but in reality,
09:28it was chaotic and confusing.
09:30From all indications,
09:32it was supposed to look like
09:33one character riding
09:34on the shoulders of another.
09:35But the limbs were so jumbled,
09:37it was impossible to tell who was who.
09:39It certainly could have been
09:40whimsical if done right,
09:41but the poor execution
09:42just left it looking clumsy.
09:44This wouldn't be Plasma's
09:45only fashion crime.
09:47She later gave us nothing
09:48in the goth design challenge,
09:50which ultimately sent her home.
09:51This is the goth that I would want to do.
09:53It's very 2000s to 70s
09:55with the shag coat
09:56and with the double belt
09:57and the low-waisted pants.
09:59Number 41, Aiden Zayn's
10:01Balls to the Wall Eleganza.
10:03Aiden Zayn left a lot to be desired
10:05when it came to the runways.
10:06Her buttons and bows look
10:08and her take on Frozen
10:09certainly come to mind.
10:10But nothing prepared us
10:11for the chaos of the ball ball.
10:13In a move that foreshadowed
10:14the runway disaster,
10:15Aiden finished working
10:16on her garment
10:17way earlier than everyone else
10:19and even took a nap
10:20while the others
10:20were hard at work.
10:21Do you think you could have
10:22added more to it
10:23with, like, the extra time?
10:24Because, like...
10:25No.
10:27I think if I had added
10:28anything else,
10:29it would have pulled away
10:30from the vision
10:30that I have for it.
10:31Okay.
10:32And like I said,
10:33I do tend to have sometimes
10:34a less is more kind of aesthetic.
10:36What she produced
10:37was essentially a corset
10:38plastered with black
10:40and white pom-poms
10:41and little dangling balls.
10:43That's it.
10:43I am serving you
10:45a little bit of Betty Page,
10:46but I'm also giving you
10:47the nod to a referee.
10:49I am loving this
10:50black and white color scheme.
10:51Aiden insisted
10:52it was all part of her
10:53less is more drag aesthetic,
10:55but for an eleganza category,
10:57we needed more.
10:58It's a miracle
10:59she dodged the bottom two
11:00because this look alone
11:02should have sent her home.
11:03Her first look was amazing,
11:05but no, no, no,
11:06you are not putting on
11:07a pair of panties
11:08and of course,
11:08and trying to pass that off
11:10as a look to me.
11:11Number 40.
11:12Suga Kane's
11:13Trampy Trick-or-Treater.
11:14A great runway look
11:15wears its references
11:16on its sleeve.
11:17No backstory needed,
11:19but Suga Kane's entry
11:20for the Trampy Trick-or-Treater
11:22category did the exact opposite.
11:24Suga claimed
11:24she was serving
11:25sexy troll doll,
11:26but almost nothing about it
11:28gave that vibe.
11:29My Trampy Trick-or-Treater
11:30is a sexy troll doll.
11:32I'm giving you
11:32full pastel body color
11:34with a bodysuit.
11:35What we saw
11:36was a shapeless bodysuit
11:37paired with a bedazzled bikini
11:39that didn't sit quite right
11:40and a wig that wasn't
11:42helping the fantasy at all.
11:43The wig, her face,
11:44her body, and the outfit
11:45were all telling
11:46different, very confused stories
11:48and no amount of explanation
11:50could stitch them together.
11:51So when I was little,
11:52I didn't have a lot of friends
11:53and I had tons of trolls,
11:55those little ones
11:56with the little crazy hair
11:57and I used to talk with them
11:58and perform in front of them.
11:59I just wanted to do something
12:00that meant something to me.
12:01It's a beautiful story,
12:03yet you have to tell a story,
12:05so that means
12:06we didn't get it.
12:08Unsurprisingly,
12:09most people had no clue
12:10what she was going for.
12:11It's no wonder
12:12that despite her two
12:13stronger looks that night,
12:14she still landed in the bottom.
12:16It could be a very cool outfit
12:18if it were like
12:19the blue Indian goddess
12:21kind of theme
12:22that I like to do.
12:23Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:23Because it's got all of those
12:24like ornate like things,
12:25but as a troll doll,
12:26it doesn't even make sense.
12:27Number 39,
12:29Cynthia Lee Fontaine's
12:30paper dolls look.
12:31Cynthia Lee Fontaine
12:32is a fierce drag queen
12:33who has survived
12:34multiple health challenges,
12:36including liver cancer.
12:38How's your health?
12:39I'm doing great.
12:40You're doing great.
12:41The recovery of the hip replacement
12:42is going phenomenal.
12:43I'm celebrating remission
12:44on my liver cancer
12:45almost seven years.
12:47So hip replacement,
12:49liver cancer,
12:50and lower back surgery, too.
12:51Category A transformer.
12:52So for her paper doll's look
12:54on All Stars 10,
12:55she chose to honor
12:56liver cancer awareness
12:57with a green outfit
12:58inspired by the ribbon.
13:00However,
13:00the look drastically lacked polish.
13:02It's color green
13:03for liver cancer awareness.
13:05And this is my moment
13:06to celebrate
13:07something so important
13:09and so personal in my life.
13:11It was basically
13:11a large roll of green paper
13:13wrapped around her torso
13:14with a few party decorations
13:16dangling underneath.
13:17The whole thing felt
13:18less like a look
13:19that had been brought from home
13:20and more like something
13:21a queen had thrown together
13:23after being told by RuPaul
13:24that she had 15 minutes
13:26to get into quick drag.
13:27But girl,
13:29this is enough.
13:30And you wrap some balls
13:32around your waist
13:33and then you put this paper
13:35over here.
13:36You should have rethought that.
13:37While the intention
13:38was genuinely honorable,
13:40the look itself,
13:41especially coming from
13:42someone of Cynthia's caliber,
13:44was a total disappointment.
13:45Number 38.
13:46Elliot with two T's
13:48Pink Flamingo.
13:48Flamingos come
13:50in gorgeous shades of pink,
13:51so you'd think
13:52they'd be a great inspiration
13:53for a runway look.
13:54But somehow,
13:55Elliot with two T's
13:56managed to find
13:57the single worst way
13:58to translate their appearance
14:00into an outfit.
14:01My fascinating fascinator
14:03is giving you
14:04an asymmetrical
14:05one-legged catsuit
14:07with a gorgeous
14:08Philip Tracy-inspired
14:10feathered fascinator.
14:12Her fascinating fascinator's
14:14runway look
14:14was an asymmetrical
14:15one-legged pink pantsuit
14:17with one flared tan sleeve
14:19and leg
14:20and a feathered headpiece.
14:22Technically,
14:22it resembled a flamingo,
14:24but the weird
14:24flesh-colored fabric
14:25and the unflattering makeup
14:27made this a visual assault.
14:29This outfit,
14:29you know,
14:30when you're coming out,
14:30I was like,
14:31I can't really tell
14:31if I like it
14:32or I don't.
14:33But then as I got into it more,
14:35I kind of dug the fact
14:36that we're doing
14:36a flamingo moment
14:37and it's kind of like,
14:38I'm standing on one leg.
14:39The look has become
14:40so infamous
14:41in the Drag Race fandom
14:42that it even inspired
14:43a parody by Corey King.
14:45Maybe it would have worked
14:46without the floppy tan additions,
14:47but we'll never know.
14:48Either way,
14:49it contributed to Elliot's
14:50elimination in that episode.
14:52Thank you so much for this.
14:53It means everything to me.
14:56Number 37.
14:57Anitra's sugar ball look.
14:59Anitra was a confounding queen
15:00on season 15.
15:02Sometimes,
15:02she would serve a jaw-dropping
15:04look on the runway.
15:05Other times,
15:05she'd leave your jaw hanging,
15:07but not out of awe,
15:08rather confusion.
15:10This was one of the other times.
15:11I've got the lollipop on my hip.
15:13I've got some gumdrops
15:15on my waist.
15:16I am loving these taffy titties.
15:18Tasked with creating a look
15:20inspired by the sugar ball
15:21from season 5,
15:22Anitra simply took
15:23a bedazzled bodysuit,
15:25slapped on some candy
15:26in the most arbitrary places,
15:28and called it a day.
15:29There was next to no concept,
15:31no shape,
15:32nothing.
15:32Just a sad sprinkle
15:33of candy decor
15:34that she probably expected
15:35would go unnoticed.
15:37Well, guess what, Mimi?
15:38It didn't.
15:39You know,
15:39the bustier thing,
15:40I wasn't quite sure
15:41what that was.
15:42Those were my taffy titties.
15:44Mmm.
15:46It just looked
15:47a little incomplete to me.
15:49Thankfully,
15:50she cleansed our palettes
15:51immediately
15:51after a show-stopping look
15:53that she shockingly made
15:54right there in the workroom.
15:56I've got a full-blown,
15:57crystallized spine
15:59coming out of this gown.
16:00It looks dangerous.
16:02It looks like it might hurt you,
16:03but don't worry.
16:04It's actually very, very...
16:06I'm lying.
16:07It's very painful.
16:08Number 36.
16:09Nina West's Paintball Eleganza
16:11For the Paintball Eleganza runway,
16:14the All-Stars' Nine Queens
16:15were supposed to take
16:16a blank canvas of fabric
16:18and turn it into art.
16:19My idea is to have, like,
16:20paint kind of pouring out
16:22over the dress
16:22and down over the side
16:24and then create kind of
16:25these splatter marks
16:25down at the bottom.
16:26You know,
16:27what I wanted to do
16:27was something that was
16:28inspired by
16:29letting your colors show.
16:31Some, like Plastique Tiara
16:32and Gottmik,
16:33delivered pieces
16:34worthy of galleries
16:35and museums.
16:37Then there was Nina West,
16:38who presented a garment
16:39that felt more at home
16:40in a kindergartner's
16:41coloring book.
16:42I am feeling
16:42my true paintball fantasy
16:45by looking like
16:47I was actually hit
16:47by paintballs.
16:48The paint job
16:49was sloppy and uneven,
16:50with random blobs of color
16:51splattered across the dress.
16:53It was then topped off
16:54with an unsightly
16:55yellow foam wig.
16:56Nina said it herself
16:57that she looked like
16:58she'd been hit
16:59with actual paintballs,
17:00and we couldn't agree more.
17:02But we're pretty sure
17:03when RuPaul said
17:04paintball eleganza?
17:05She didn't mean it
17:06that literally.
17:07And this is a bit
17:08of a kindergarten project.
17:09Right.
17:10But I don't hate it
17:11in that way.
17:12You worked it
17:13with the wig
17:13and you knew
17:14what it was
17:15and it's Nina West.
17:17Number 35,
17:18Trinity K. Bonet's
17:20crossing guard look.
17:21A wise queen once said,
17:23drag delusion
17:23is a spectrum
17:24and all drag queens
17:25are somewhat on it.
17:27Delusion.
17:29Convince yourself.
17:31Well,
17:32Trinity K. Bonet
17:32must be very high
17:33on that spectrum
17:34if she thought
17:35this was acceptable
17:36to wear on the runway.
17:37The category asked
17:38for blue collar
17:39but make it fashion.
17:40And Trinity boldly
17:41stepped out
17:42in an actual
17:42crossing guards uniform.
17:44Plain khakis,
17:45a reflective jacket,
17:46a random orange shirt
17:47and flats.
17:48I am here
17:49to help them
17:50get across the street
17:51and if you come
17:52down my street
17:53speeding,
17:53I will write
17:54your tag number down
17:55and pull up at your house.
17:56She looked like
17:56she forgot to pack
17:57something for this category
17:58and just rated
17:59the lost and found
18:00on set the night before.
18:01It was unforgivable
18:02but at least
18:03you can't deny
18:03she has everything
18:04it takes to win drag race.
18:06Charisma,
18:06uniqueness,
18:07the nerve to wear
18:08such a horrible look
18:09and talent.
18:10Too literal for me.
18:11Crossing guard
18:12apparently is a theme.
18:14No,
18:14not too excited about this.
18:16Boots,
18:17boots.
18:18Number 34.
18:19Monet Exchanges
18:20Sponge Dress.
18:21Monet Exchanges
18:22originally planned
18:23a deconstructed doll look
18:24for the drag on a dime challenge
18:26but she later decided
18:27to whip up a conceptual garment
18:28out of sponges.
18:29And I know that I can create
18:31this really like
18:32Gaga,
18:33Couture-esque look
18:34with sponges.
18:35Am I gonna be Couture or Couture?
18:37And thus the infamous
18:38sponge dress was born.
18:39Monet showed up
18:40in a wonky ball gown
18:41covered in green
18:42and yellow bits
18:43all hot glued
18:44in a droopy shape.
18:45While the top half
18:46was jam-packed
18:47the bottom half
18:48sagged across the floor
18:49like,
18:50well,
18:51a sponge.
18:51Okay,
18:52points for the narrative
18:52through line.
18:53I'm literally cleaning
18:54the floor with my garment
18:55as I'm walking down the runway
18:57and it's f***ing fair.
18:58However,
18:59the execution of the dress
19:00was poor
19:01and it certainly wasn't helped
19:02by the random blob
19:03of hair perched on her head.
19:05Regardless,
19:05the look has since become
19:06a beloved piece
19:07of Drag Race lore
19:08so much so
19:09that Monet immortalized it
19:10in her song
19:11Soak It Up.
19:12I'm feeling fierce
19:13and free of bother
19:15I'm slipping out
19:17I'm so unbothered
19:19Number 33
19:20Dusty Ray Bottoms
19:22Feathers Look
19:22There are a million ways
19:24to make Feathers look fabulous
19:25but Dusty Ray Bottoms
19:27made every wrong decision possible
19:29in putting together
19:30a look for the Feathers runway
19:31She came out
19:32in a white and green ensemble
19:33with Feather accents
19:34on a corset-style base
19:36paired with knee-high
19:37strappy boots
19:38I am feeling
19:39my Feather fantasy
19:40showgirling my arms
19:42down the runway
19:43I'm loving it
19:44It seemed like
19:45she was aiming
19:46for a showgirl
19:47meets saloon girl vibe
19:48but it ended up
19:49looking like a hot mess
19:50The Feathers were clustered
19:51in all the wrong places
19:53bulking up around her chest
19:54and hips
19:55while leaving other areas
19:56strangely bare
19:57Then she doubled down
19:59with the red hair
19:59and feathered lashes
20:01Some have said
20:02she just wore the pieces
20:03incorrectly
20:04but if you ask us
20:05she never should have
20:06worn them at all
20:06I noticed too
20:07when she turned around
20:08that it was all sort of
20:09like nothing in the back
20:10and I've never ever seen
20:11anyone use feathers like that
20:13where it's all front heavy
20:15Yeah
20:16You know what I mean?
20:16Usually you want to put it on your
20:17so it's like
20:18boop boop boop
20:19Vegas
20:19Number 32
20:21Joella's quilted mattress
20:23Say what you will about Joella
20:24but you can't deny
20:25that the Salasian diva
20:26of Los Angeles
20:27knows how to leave a mark
20:29I'm really scared
20:30for the girls back home
20:31to see this
20:31because in LA
20:33I'm literally known
20:35for my looks
20:35I'm known to be opulent
20:37One of her most iconic moments
20:39came during the
20:40quilted for your pleasure runway
20:41when Joella stepped out
20:42wearing a giant quilted mattress
20:44with her face poking out
20:46of a tiny cut out hole
20:47Half see where I'm going
20:49I am a gigantic quilted blanket
20:51Everyone waited
20:52for some dramatic reveal
20:54but the only surprise they got
20:55was a massive airbrushed portrait
20:57of RuPaul on the back
20:59As campy as this was
21:00it was also poorly designed
21:01as it barely showed her face
21:03and was clearly a chore
21:04for her to walk in
21:05Now I love a gag
21:07but we can't really see your face
21:09Yeah
21:09You're the star of your drag
21:12and if we're trying to find out
21:13where you are
21:14that's a problem
21:15When she returned
21:16for the finale however
21:17Joella revamped
21:18the quilted mattress
21:19into a more stylish
21:20but still campy as hell look
21:22Number 31
21:23Mrs. Kasha Davis'
21:25Supermarket Supermodel Eleganza
21:27On season 7
21:28Mrs. Kasha Davis
21:30was eliminated
21:30long before the ball episode
21:32so we never got to fully assess
21:34her sewing skills
21:35but by the time she returned
21:36for All Stars 8
21:38the Rochester, New York queen
21:39still hadn't learned her way
21:41around a needle and thread
21:42Very, very talented designers
21:45in this competition
21:46but sewing for me
21:47isn't my favorite
21:48It's 2023
21:49We don't have to make
21:51our own clothes
21:52Her supermarket Supermodel
21:53Eleganza look
21:54clearly showed that
21:55Kasha heard Supermarket
21:57and probably thought
21:58the judges wanted to see
21:59a representation
22:00of every aisle
22:01on her garment
22:01My inspiration for my look
22:03is a kid's birthday party
22:04There's toys
22:05and there's streamers
22:06There's even scrunchies
22:08It's as if
22:08you're seeing the inside
22:09of a pinata
22:10There were streamers
22:11There were flowers
22:12She even carried
22:13a birthday cake
22:14as she said
22:14it was inspired
22:15by a children's party
22:16We might not be as harsh
22:18as T.S. Madison
22:19but this is a party
22:20we wouldn't RSVP to
22:22This, Kasha
22:23This I hate
22:27Honey, it looked like
22:28a bag of broken rubbers
22:29Honey, you know
22:30those colorful rubbers
22:31the cheap ones
22:3130. Bob the Drag Queen's
22:34Robot Realness
22:35I didn't have enough time
22:36to finish a Transformer outfit
22:37So I do my backup plan
22:38I'm like a Tron
22:39robot-inspired character
22:41Here's a runway look
22:43we can't ignore
22:44Bob the Drag Queen
22:45heard Roller Girl Realness
22:46and she thought
22:47it was time to break out
22:48the Amazon robot costume
22:50and slap on some roller skates
22:52That she won the week's
22:53challenge anyway
22:54is a testament
22:54to how great
22:55a performer she is
22:56because this look
22:57should have been
22:58an instant boot
22:59Maybe it was strategic
23:00I cannot in good faith
23:02stand by this look
23:03but I can say
23:04I wouldn't change anything
23:06If there's one thing
23:07that was more distracting
23:08than the outfit
23:08it was her roller skating skills
23:10Since then
23:11Bob has embraced
23:12the awfulness of the look
23:14In fact
23:14she's been terrorizing us
23:16with it ever since
23:17Thorgy
23:17why did I waste my time
23:18putting on
23:19this
23:20number 29
23:29Sasha Bell's
23:30nude illusion
23:31I think I was confused
23:32by the assignment
23:33Well to be fair
23:34all of the girls
23:35were told the exact
23:36same thing
23:37She might have
23:38misunderstood the assignment
23:39Indeed
23:39Sasha Bell was clearly
23:41confused by the runway theme
23:42The queens were required
23:43to do a nude illusion
23:45on the premiere
23:45of season 7
23:46While some brave contestants
23:48decided to ditch
23:49the illusion altogether
23:50Sasha made the bold choice
23:52to lean into
23:52neither the nudity
23:53nor the illusion
23:54I'm giving you J-Lo
23:56just waking up
23:58from a one night stand
23:59in the Bahamas
23:59Well it looks like
24:01everybody got
24:02a little bit of black in them
24:03Throwing off her
24:04resort wear look
24:05she had a nude
24:06lumpy bodysuit
24:07that completely clashed
24:08with her actual skin tone
24:10Even worse
24:11she had a black bra
24:12underneath
24:12I thought her nude illusion
24:13look was kind of messy
24:15That bodysuit sucked
24:16Come on
24:17I had a black bra
24:18misunderstanding my ass
24:20The straps were
24:21clearly visible
24:22and made the whole thing
24:23look under thought
24:24and sloppy
24:25Number 28
24:27Darian Lake's
24:28Dripping in Jewels
24:29Eleganza
24:29I am giving you
24:31a touch of
24:32slave princess Leia
24:33Glamour from head
24:35to topaz
24:36At the final five
24:37of Drag Race Season 6
24:39the queens were assigned
24:40jewels that were
24:41supposed to inspire
24:41a custom couture runway look
24:43Darian Lake got topaz
24:45basically stoned
24:46a simple brown dress
24:47and called it a day
24:48The dress is already
24:49too simple to be impressive
24:51I missed the mark
24:52completely
24:52But it's not even
24:54the simplicity
24:54that's the biggest problem
24:56It's the questionable
24:57placement of the beads
24:58which form an outline
24:59across her body
25:00like a strange bikini
25:02Then there's the fact
25:03that the jewels
25:03weighed the dress down
25:05making it cumbersome
25:06to walk in
25:07and unflattering
25:08to look at
25:08I see that there's
25:10a lot of beautiful
25:10stones on there
25:11it's dripping in jewels
25:12and I get it
25:13but it literally
25:14is dripping
25:15It's not even dripping
25:16it's drooping in jewels
25:17That's the sad part
25:18Number 27
25:19Coco Montrese's
25:21Pretty in Pink Ensemble
25:22Shirley Temple Black?
25:24Why gotta be black?
25:25I am giving you
25:27your baby doll fish
25:28I look so cute
25:30Here
25:30Season 5's queens
25:32were tasked
25:32with donning
25:33their best pink runway looks
25:35Inspired by the week's
25:36kids show challenge
25:37Coco Montrese
25:38went for a youthful look
25:40A very youthful look
25:41Unfortunately
25:42her apparent ode
25:43to Shirley Temple
25:44was a pink eyesore
25:45This one has a little bit
25:47of everything
25:47There's ruffles
25:48and curls
25:49and a bear
25:49oh my
25:50As she hops
25:51along the runway
25:51it kind of reads
25:52a little more eerie
25:53than may have been intended
25:55At least it was on theme
25:56for the lip sync
25:57Coco won the battle
26:03performing the
26:04Pussycat Dolls
26:05When I Grow Up
26:05and lived to slay
26:07another day
26:07in much better outfits
26:09Number 26
26:10Amanda Torrey
26:11Meeting's
26:12Faster Pussycat
26:13Wig Wig Look
26:14This is not
26:15RuPaul's
26:16Ness Friend Race
26:17My kitty cat wig
26:20is the top
26:21of my
26:21Robin's egg
26:23which is also
26:23my head
26:24RuPaul knows
26:25how many of these queens
26:26love a pussycat wig
26:28She's wearing
26:29three pussycat wigs
26:31I have no idea
26:32what's going on
26:33in this storyline
26:34So naturally
26:35a whole runway theme
26:36dedicated to them
26:37was long overdue
26:38but Amanda Torrey
26:39Meeting's
26:40interpretation
26:40was as out of
26:41left field
26:42as it gets
26:43You have trouble
26:44with some of
26:45the drag aesthetic
26:46This idea is great
26:47It's just a little bit off
26:49She walked down
26:50the runway
26:51in what was essentially
26:52a shredded tree trunk
26:53with a bird's nest
26:54on top of it
26:55Amanda's idea
26:56to be what seems
26:57like an egg
26:58wearing a shocking
26:58blue wig
26:59has to be commended
27:00for the nerve
27:01but it really is
27:02just a big hunk
27:03of brown
27:03fastened to her body
27:05and the concept
27:06is all over the place
27:07Let's just say
27:08there's a lot
27:08to un-peck
27:09when it comes
27:10to this bird
27:11inspired look
27:12and not in a good way
27:13My inner saboteur
27:16G'day mate
27:18It's me

27:27We just made our entrance
27:28into the square dance
27:29I'm wearing this beautiful gown
27:30made out of aprons
27:31with little scrunchy
27:33accoutrements
27:33Before she was winning
27:35over fans
27:35as a host
27:36of Give It To Me Straight
27:37Maddie Morphosis
27:38was a drag race anomaly
27:39As the show's
27:40first straight
27:41cisgender man
27:42to compete
27:43there was a noted
27:44skepticism toward her
27:45Is your pussy on fire?
27:48Is my pussy on fire?
27:50It's warming up
27:51Looks like this one
27:53didn't help
27:53She called it
27:54a classy rodeo clown
27:56but the strange
27:56combination of
27:57the cheap quilt skirt
27:58and raggedy Ann
27:59makeup was just bizarre
28:01Hey
28:02at least Maddie
28:02tried to sell it
28:03the best she could
28:04Her runway presentation
28:06which included
28:07an inflatable
28:07hairy chested friend
28:09saved it from
28:10being a complete miss
28:11Still
28:12it's not a winner
28:13by any stretch
28:13of the imagination
28:14They said
28:15it's one of the
28:16most amazing things
28:17that has ever
28:17graced RuPaul's
28:18drag race
28:18And then I woke up
28:23Number 24
28:24Selena S. Titties
28:25Metallica Runway
28:27I'm a girl from the street
28:28so obviously my medal
28:29was gonna be street signs
28:30I am walking down
28:31this runway
28:32like the only street
28:33lamp on the block
28:33It'd be easy
28:34to overlook a few
28:35mediocre looks
28:36on such a large cast
28:37but season 15
28:38Selena S. Titties
28:40managed to stop traffic
28:41with her metallic
28:42eleganza
28:43a shimmering
28:44silver bodysuit
28:45with street signs
28:46dangling from chains
28:47is certainly
28:48an interesting idea
28:49In practice
28:50it's just a mess
28:51of shiny ideas
28:52Wish that the
28:53light wasn't
28:55trying to escape
28:56For a runway piece
28:57it doesn't exactly
28:58move with any grace
28:59or style
29:00The outfit didn't
29:01land her in the
29:02bottom that week
29:03although that probably
29:04had more to do
29:04with her good performance
29:05in the acting challenge
29:07Of course
29:07this ensemble
29:08would later go on
29:09to win the dreaded
29:10golden boot award
29:11for worst look
29:12of the season
29:13I finally want
29:14something on Drag Race
29:16Number 23
29:17Ginger Minja's
29:18Redemption Realness
29:19Ooh
29:20Inner Galactica
29:21Tonight
29:22I'm the queen
29:23with my rouges
29:24my plastic
29:25little titty cups
29:26and the crown
29:27on my head
29:28All Stars means
29:30a second chance
29:30for a lot of queens
29:31who deserve it
29:32It can be a place
29:33where they prove
29:34they still have
29:35what it takes
29:35to go far
29:36or a venue
29:37to right some
29:37of the wrongs
29:38from previous seasons
29:39For All Stars 6's
29:41Redemption Runway theme
29:42the contestants
29:43were able to make
29:44Rue visions
29:45to looks they fumbled
29:46on their seasons
29:47Ginger Minja's
29:48badly constructed
29:49unflattering garment
29:51wasn't much
29:51of an improvement
29:52on the original
29:53futuristic ensemble
29:54This look is not
29:55one of my favorites
29:56There's a whole lot
29:57of everything going on
29:59Like I need Ritalin
30:00to look at you right now
30:01In fact
30:01it was downright
30:02ridiculous
30:03It almost looked
30:05like a wet curtain
30:05that got snagged
30:06on a sharp corner
30:07In other words
30:08there was nothing
30:09Rue deeming
30:10about this outfit
30:11Number 22
30:12Candy Muse's
30:13Beast Couture
30:14Baby I am an alien
30:16that just fell down
30:17from space
30:17because my alien
30:18Judy got hurt
30:20Sometimes a runway
30:21can save a maxi
30:22challenge performance
30:23Other times
30:24it can sink you
30:25Candy Muse
30:26had actually done well
30:27in the soft drink
30:27commercial challenge
30:28However
30:29the season 13
30:30finalists'
30:31answer to the
30:32Beast Couture
30:33prompt
30:33was a sight to behold
30:34Candy's look
30:35was confusing
30:36from head to toe
30:37Tonight on the runway
30:39Candy
30:39this is definitely
30:40interesting
30:42Yeah
30:43it makes no sense
30:44From the strategically
30:46placed plush
30:47attachments
30:48to the evil
30:49blow-up twin
30:50trailing across
30:51the floor
30:51this was a full-on
30:52neon green
30:53latex nightmare
30:54on four legs
30:55yet it still
30:56fell short
30:57construction
30:58and concept wise
30:59What is hanging
31:00off of her
31:01It's not even plushie
31:02She looks like
31:03two blow-up dolls
31:04wearing fuzzy
31:05bikinis
31:06Kind of like
31:06the opposite
31:07of plushie
31:07isn't it
31:08The decision
31:08to employ
31:09a demonic
31:09inflatable
31:10was certainly
31:10a big swing
31:11Was it a good
31:12choice?
31:13Probably not
31:13Was it memorable?
31:15Absolutely
31:16Number 21
31:17Jade Jolie's
31:19wig look
31:19I'm featuring my arms
31:21I try not to carry
31:22over five pounds
31:23so I'm very proud
31:24to have the petite
31:25arms that I have
31:25She forgot to shave
31:27The judges
31:27constantly told
31:29this season 5 queen
31:30that she needed
31:30to edit her looks
31:31Apparently
31:32Jade Jolie
31:33didn't get the message
31:34considering this
31:35is the outfit
31:36she would ultimately
31:36go home wearing
31:37Seeing this
31:38out of context
31:39you'd think
31:40the runway theme
31:40had something
31:41to do with wigs
31:42As far as my
31:43outfit goes
31:43I already said
31:44I wanted to wear this
31:45and I'm proud to wear this
31:46but I'm gonna do my best
31:47But no
31:47The queens were
31:48actually tasked
31:49with showcasing
31:50their favorite body parts
31:52Jade chose to highlight
31:53her delicate arms
31:54However
31:55the only thing
31:55this ensemble
31:56really showcased
31:57is hair
31:58Blue hair
31:58pink hair
31:59green hair
32:00and so on
32:01I'm spinning
32:01I'm kicking
32:02I'm high energy
32:04and fun
32:04I'm just laying
32:05everything on the table
32:07Everywhere you look
32:08there's hair
32:08less would have
32:09certainly been more
32:10Number 20
32:11Laganja Estranja's
32:13Black and White
32:13Laganja Estranja
32:15was one of season 6's
32:16biggest and boldest
32:17personalities
32:18Oh y'all wanted a twist
32:20eh
32:20Come on season 6
32:22Let's get 60
32:23Yeah
32:24And she reflected this
32:25in her weird and wild
32:26wardrobe choices
32:28For episode 7
32:29the runway theme
32:30was pretty simple
32:31black and white
32:32You can't go wrong
32:33with that right?
32:34Well
32:34take a look at what
32:35Laganja chose to wear
32:36I am serving a lizard
32:38called Laganja
32:39Mama
32:39y'all can't take it
32:41There were a lot
32:42of ideas here
32:43none of which
32:43looked like they
32:44should go together
32:45from the weird
32:45black mohawk
32:46to the spotted
32:47silver lips
32:48to the see-through
32:49pants with black
32:50underwear
32:50Also, pants
32:51and a train
32:52It looked like
32:53the world's strangest
32:54Elvis impersonator
32:55was getting married
32:56Luckily, her
32:58and Adore Delano's
32:59winning pairing
32:59in the main challenge
33:00saved her from
33:01the bottom two
33:02Because whoever said
33:03beauty was on the inside
33:04is ugly
33:05Number 19
33:06Candy Muse's
33:07pocket dress
33:08Candy Muse may have
33:13been one of the
33:14most magnetic queens
33:15of season 13
33:16However, her fashion
33:17sense didn't always
33:19match her star quality
33:20It was her
33:21Oat Pockets runway
33:22that had us feeling
33:23empty
33:23But if you look
33:24real close
33:25you can see my ass
33:26in these very pockets
33:27But oh
33:28The unclear concept
33:30and messy execution
33:31just didn't read pockets
33:33making it a painful
33:34standout amongst
33:36the final five
33:37and landing her
33:38in the bottom two
33:39In true Candy fashion
33:40though
33:41the judges critiques
33:42only motivated her
33:43to fight harder
33:44and she slayed
33:45the ensuing lip sync
33:46to solidify her spot
33:47in the top four
33:48The pocket dress
34:00became so infamous
34:01that Lana Geray
34:03resurrected it
34:03from the dead
34:04for the ugliest dress
34:05ever runway
34:06on season 17
34:07This is just a way
34:08to showcase
34:09how connected
34:10I am to the show
34:10Candy
34:11I am so sorry
34:12you have to relive
34:12your trauma
34:13but I'm sorry
34:14not sorry
34:15Number 18
34:16Soju's Kimchi
34:17Soju
34:18It's Little Pancake's
34:20Playfriend
34:21Season 11 began
34:22with each queen
34:23replicating the look
34:24of a past contestant
34:25on the show
34:25Soju was assigned
34:27Kimchi's box
34:28and quickly got to work
34:29on an outfit
34:30inspired by their
34:31shared Korean heritage
34:32I immediately
34:33I immediately think
34:34Hanbok
34:35is a Korean dress
34:36that all the women
34:37in Korea wear
34:38for special occasions
34:39that doesn't really
34:40show your waist
34:41which means that
34:42I don't have to cinch
34:43The fact that Soju
34:44essentially used the dress
34:45as an excuse
34:46not to cinch her waist
34:47was the first red flag
34:49clocked by Vanjie
34:50who had been eliminated
34:51the previous season
34:52for an undefined silhouette
34:53The result was a messily
35:00constructed garment
35:01that didn't have much shape
35:03and while her makeup
35:04was on point
35:05we can't help but see this
35:06as a missed opportunity
35:08to do more of the
35:09exaggerated style
35:10that Kimchi's known for
35:11Number 17
35:13Nina Bonina Brown's
35:14Club Kid
35:15Nina Bonina Brown
35:16made a splash early on
35:17in the competition
35:18with her high concept looks
35:20and brilliant makeup artistry
35:22Take a bite of this peach
35:23This made her a perfect fit
35:24for the Club Kid runway
35:25inspired by the New York
35:27avant-garde drag scene
35:28of the late 80s
35:29and early 90s
35:30Unfortunately
35:31while we could see
35:32what she was going for
35:34the execution left
35:35something to be desired
35:36Nina Bonina Brown
35:38Anderson Lee
35:39Your aorta is showing
35:42Nina served fierce face
35:45but the unfinished makeup
35:46on her chest
35:47really broke the illusion
35:48especially when compared
35:49to a few more
35:50of the fully formed ideas
35:52on the runway
35:52Nina Bonina Brown
35:53is the first
35:54to walk backwards
35:55on the runway
35:56Number 16
35:57Aja's Princess Disaster
35:59Someday she'll be
36:00the most ashy princess
36:02and she'll live
36:03flamingly ever after
36:05While Kimora Black's
36:07draggily ever after runway
36:08was certainly a candidate
36:09for this list
36:10it's Aja's look
36:11from that challenge
36:12that takes the crown here
36:13Going into season 9
36:14Aja was hyped up
36:16as Brooklyn's
36:16hottest new queen
36:17and she seemed
36:18to buy into her own hype
36:20a little too much
36:21Now how are you gonna shine
36:23I just feel so confident
36:24about it
36:25I'm just like
36:25I'm gonna do this
36:26and it's gonna be cute
36:28You know I've heard that before
36:29Confident that she'd
36:30slay the challenge
36:31Aja's Princess Disaster
36:33character name
36:34ended up ironically
36:34predicting what her
36:35performance would end up being
36:37I literally
36:38had no clue
36:39at all
36:40what was going on tonight
36:41Drawing inspiration
36:42from fiery natural disasters
36:44Aja strutted down the runway
36:46in a strangely shaped wig
36:48badly blended makeup
36:49and pants that didn't fit her properly
36:51She went on to redo the outfit
36:53in All Stars 3
36:54for her redemption runway
36:55proving just how much
36:57she'd improved
36:57over a short space of time
36:59This look is probably
37:01where I felt the ugliest
37:02and the lowest
37:03on season 9
37:04and that's when
37:05the Aja transformation
37:06truly began
37:07Finally
37:08some disaster relief
37:10Number 15
37:11Magnolia Crawford's
37:12Party Box
37:13Before Monique Hart's
37:15iconic brown cow
37:16stunning look
37:17Magnolia Crawford
37:22walked the season 6 runway
37:23in a less than stunning
37:24bovine print dress
37:26It was created from
37:27party supplies given to her
37:29as part of the two-part
37:30season premiere
37:30sewing theme
37:31Magnolia's Party Box
37:33was themed around a
37:34hoedown
37:35hence all the cow print
37:36She felt defeated
37:37from the start
37:38at how hideous
37:39her materials were
37:40And we too
37:41were woefully let down
37:42by how basic
37:43the outfit ended up being
37:44It has nothing to do
37:45with my style
37:46Jesus Christ
37:48It's the first challenge
37:49Good God girl
37:51get a grip
37:51Sure
37:52cow print is a bold look
37:53but to quote Michelle
37:55it's a piece of fabric
37:56I didn't like my box
37:58There's only so much
37:59you can do with
38:00red and white
38:01check
38:02The thing is
38:03you could have done more
38:04I've got a goddamn
38:05bow on my ass
38:06Magnolia didn't help
38:07her case either
38:07by being very short
38:09with the judges
38:09when they critiqued
38:10her lack of effort
38:11I get this angry vibe
38:13from you
38:13I
38:14Okay
38:1514.
38:16Alexis Michelle's Roast
38:18of Michelle Visage
38:19We normally save
38:20the best for last
38:21but in this case
38:22we had to settle
38:23for Alexis Michelle
38:25We wish that we could
38:26say Alexis Michelle's
38:27outfit made up
38:28for her terrible jokes
38:29during the roast
38:30of Michelle Visage
38:31but we can't
38:32We were as confused
38:33as the judges
38:34as to why
38:34She Hulk
38:35stepped onto the runway
38:36for the season 9
38:37comedy challenge
38:38Michelle Michelle Michelle
38:40In honor of your
38:41big night
38:42I wore your favorite
38:42color girl
38:43Alexis quickly
38:47explained that she
38:48was wearing
38:48Michelle's least
38:49favorite color
38:50and you know
38:51what they say
38:51about jokes
38:52you have to explain
38:53My question
38:54the whole entire time
38:55is why is she green?
38:57Well Tamar
38:58have you ever
38:58watched the show?
38:59We've seen body paint
39:00on Drag Race Queens
39:01before
39:02but when you commit
39:03to full body paint
39:04you have to commit
39:05to the full body
39:06otherwise it just
39:07looks sloppy
39:08The color also clashed
39:09with her dress
39:10which was a
39:11completely different shade
39:12It was a long way
39:13to go
39:14for a one word joke
39:15Michelle isn't like
39:16green
39:16so I painted
39:17my body
39:18except for my feet
39:18It just was
39:21misguided
39:22confused
39:23Number 13
39:24Silky Nutmeg
39:25Ganache's
39:26Facekini
39:27While Silky Nutmeg
39:28Ganache was always
39:29fairly confident
39:30about the strength
39:31of her runway outfits
39:32the other queens
39:33especially her bitter
39:34rival Evie Oddly
39:35were often quick
39:36to point out
39:37their flaws
39:37Usually
39:38her impeccable makeup
39:40sharpie eyebrows
39:41and all
39:41You're the primitive mark?
39:42No bitch
39:43Is that what you use?
39:43That's what I use
39:44Were enough to salvage
39:45her less polished
39:46presentations
39:47but in the case
39:48of her face
39:49Keeney look
39:49Silky had nothing
39:51to fall back on
39:52Why you not putting
39:52no makeup?
39:53I don't need to do
39:54nothing but a lip today
39:55Oh okay
39:56In fact
39:57she didn't even bother
39:58to put any makeup
39:59on under the mask
40:00While her cockroach
40:01Sorry fly idea
40:08was an interesting
40:08take on the theme
40:09the delivery of it
40:10was very flimsy
40:11particularly compared
40:13to Ben De La Creme's
40:14incredible insect
40:15realness from season 6
40:17I'm just buzzing
40:18down the runway
40:19feeling the fantasy
40:2012.
40:21Shangela's
40:22Christmas Eleganza
40:23Hallelujah lady
40:25When Shangela
40:27returned for season 3
40:28she was determined
40:29to not let the first
40:30episode's traditional
40:31sewing challenge
40:32defeat her like it
40:33did in season 2
40:34but once again
40:35it very nearly did
40:37Rather than have
40:38their materials
40:39for this Christmas
40:39themed runway challenge
40:41handed to them
40:41the queens had to
40:42source and buy
40:43their own
40:44from a thrift store
40:45Shangela decided
40:46that a round
40:47white lampshade
40:48could make an
40:48interesting snowball
40:50shaped skirt
40:51She wasn't wrong
40:52but her seamstress
40:53skills failed her
40:54yet again
40:55with the outfit
40:55falling apart
40:56as she walked
40:57the runway
40:57and her wig
40:58making it look
40:59like she'd been
40:59electrocuted
41:00while trying
41:01to plug in
41:01the Christmas tree
41:02lights
41:02The execution
41:03is poor
41:05the back
41:06it's kind of
41:07falling apart
41:08and there just
41:08could have been
41:09more attention
41:09to detail
41:10Not even the
41:11addition of an
41:12oversized prop
41:13could save this one
41:14You know what I say
41:15never work with
41:15animals, children
41:16or snowmen
41:1711.

41:24While everybody
41:24does love Mystique
41:26her outfit for
41:27the Country Realness
41:28runway missed the
41:28mark on the theme
41:29of the challenge
41:30She looks like
41:31she's a big girl
41:34going out to a club
41:35Serving more business
41:36casual than Country Girl
41:37her over-the-top eye
41:39makeup also did
41:40no favors to the
41:41underwhelming
41:42shirt-pants combo
41:43Not to mention
41:44Mystique made the
41:45fatal error of wearing
41:46the same top on the
41:47runway and in the
41:48challenge
41:48The look landed her
41:50in the bottom
41:50where she proved
41:51no match for the
41:52now legendary
41:53second season
41:54runner-up Raven
41:54who sent her
41:55sashaying away
41:57Now sashay

42:09Cynthia Lee Fontaine
42:10may have one of the
42:11shortest runs of any
42:12Miss Congeniality winner
42:14but sadly this outfit
42:15simply did not match
42:16the fierceness of her
42:17charming personality
42:18A confusing mashup
42:20of an elegant top
42:21with a country-inspired
42:22bottom half and hat
42:24resulted in an ill-fitting
42:25mess
42:26an admirable
42:27but ultimately
42:28unsuccessful attempt
42:29to try something new
42:30by the Queen of Cuckoo
42:31In the end
42:32it was a bit of an
42:32assault on the eyes
42:33Though Cynthia
42:34lip-synced for her life
42:36she was no match
42:37for Robbie Turner's
42:38rollerblading skills
42:39which ultimately
42:40sent her packing
42:41Keep spreading
42:41your cuckoo
42:42Now
42:44sashay
42:45away
42:46Hopefully she was
42:47able to take solace
42:48in the golden trophy

42:50Number 9
42:51Honey Mahogany's
42:53Bedsheet Caftan
42:54Only two times in the
42:55herstory of the series
42:56has a lip-sync resulted
42:57in a double elimination
42:59and one half of the
43:00very first can be
43:01attributed to Honey
43:02Mahogany's third and
43:03final loose-fitting
43:04caftan to be torn apart
43:06by the judges
43:07What is with you
43:08and the caftan
43:09collection?
43:10Why don't we get to
43:11see your figure?
43:12Though the previous
43:13attempts were elegant
43:14enough to keep her out
43:15of the bottom
43:15the third strike more
43:16resembled a sparkly
43:17bed sheet tied together
43:19with a belt than an
43:20actual outfit
43:20coupled with an equally
43:24gaudy wig
43:25there's no one
43:26point of focus
43:27so the only option
43:28is to take the
43:29entire jumble
43:30in one unsavory gulp
43:32at least she was able
43:33to prove her range
43:34come finale time
43:35I have a little
43:36something I'd like
43:36to show you
43:37Oh
43:37Okay
43:38Oh
43:38Oh
43:39Oh
43:40Number 8
43:43Shangela's Gone
43:44with the Window
43:45Shangela Laquifa Wadley
43:47the debutanteess
43:48of the Deep South
43:49Shangela may now
43:50be one of the more
43:51recognizable names
43:52to come out of
43:52RuPaul's Drag Race
43:53but that doesn't
43:54excuse her earlier
43:55outfits from this list
43:57tasked with creating
43:58a runway look
43:59out of window curtains
44:00the admittedly
44:01burgeoning queen
44:01made a dress
44:02more reminiscent
44:03of corn stalks
44:04than couture
44:05and was criticized
44:06for the judges
44:07for its overabundance
44:08of accessories
44:09design
44:09and failure
44:10to be form-fitting
44:11Your bus line
44:12is non-existent
44:14there's no
44:15waist definition there
44:16Luckily for all of us
44:17she was given the chance
44:18to showcase her talents
44:19in the next season
44:20as well as all-stars
44:22proving that
44:22if at first
44:23you don't succeed
44:24try, try
44:25and try again
44:26Number 7
44:27Naysha Lopez's
44:28Drag on a Dime
44:29Hola
44:30The beauty
44:33is here
44:34To be fair
44:35Naysha was the first
44:36to admit that she was
44:36an amateur designer
44:37a skill level
44:38which wasn't helped
44:39by the fact that her
44:40task involved
44:41making her dress
44:42out of pieces of garbage
44:43This is actually
44:44the first garment
44:45I've ever made
44:46I don't really sew
44:47I felt like it was wearable
44:49and you know
44:50I got the challenge down
44:52With an unflattering
44:53shape and a baffling
44:55color combination
44:55of green and gold
44:57the finished look
44:58was less garbage
44:59inspired glamour
45:00and more nauseating
45:01The garbage theme
45:02was apparent
45:03from the end result
45:04as was the lack
45:05of design experience
45:06Unsurprisingly
45:07RuPaul decided
45:08to give her the boot
45:09though she would
45:09later return to the show
45:10for a brief stint
45:11of two episodes
45:12Now sashay away
45:15Number 6
45:18Serena Chacha's
45:19Garbage Couture
45:20Oh does that mean
45:21you guys were rooting
45:21for me?
45:22Poor Serena Chacha
45:23She was only able
45:24to serve up two looks
45:25during her brief tenure
45:26on Drag Race
45:27and both were seriously
45:28considered for this list
45:30The challenge was
45:31to turn garbage
45:31into couture
45:32But Serena didn't
45:33entirely finish
45:34the transformation
45:35We're honestly
45:36not entirely sure
45:37how she was able
45:38to escape elimination
45:39with this abysmal outfit
45:40From the lack
45:41of creativity
45:42to the shoddy execution
45:43there's little room
45:44to defend this offering
45:45However we have
45:46to cut her some slack
45:47for being the season's
45:48youngest queen
45:49She clearly learned
45:50from her time on the show
45:51and has since
45:52developed her aesthetic
45:53Number 5
45:54Derek Barry's Tin Man
45:56Not a girl
45:57not yet a tin woman
45:59Derek Barry came
46:00to season 8
46:00of Drag Race
46:01as a famous
46:02Britney Spears
46:02impersonator
46:03hoping to find
46:04her own personal style
46:05independent of the pop princess
46:06through competing
46:07on the show
46:08While the effort
46:09was definitely there
46:10the know-how
46:11certainly wasn't
46:12This Wizard of Oz
46:13inspired challenge
46:14saw each queen
46:15creating a look
46:15based on a character
46:16from the movie
46:17While Robbie Turner's
46:18look also landed
46:19her in the bottom
46:20Derek's look
46:21has become a timeless
46:22invocation of the dreaded
46:23corset wrapped in fabric
46:24It just looks so
46:26homemade
46:26in the worst way
46:28Uh
46:29I'm not a seamstress
46:31but I did sew
46:32everything on here
46:33Whatever vision existed
46:35was marred by
46:35shoddy construction
46:36which Barry infamously
46:38defended in Untucked
46:39much to the frustration
46:41of everyone else
46:42Everywhere you look
46:43there's a hem
46:43First of all
46:45your hems are bad
46:46and you're wearing
46:47a piece of fabric
46:48around your waist
46:49and you're calling it
46:51a skirt
46:524.
46:53Jiggly Caliente's
46:54Apocalypse Couture
46:55Camera
46:55Jiggly Caliente's run
46:58certainly got off
46:59to an explosive start
47:00though not in a good way
47:02The first challenge
47:03was to create
47:04an apocalyptic look
47:05based on materials
47:06gathered from garbage
47:07and for Jiggly
47:08it unfortunately shows
47:09appearing as though
47:20she threw everything
47:21she could get her hands
47:22on into an outfit
47:23the final product
47:24was an amalgamation
47:25of mismatched colors
47:27and material
47:27It seemed she was
47:29destined to be
47:29the first elimination
47:30However
47:31Jiggly's bubbly
47:32personality allowed
47:33for her to overcome
47:34her initial misstep
47:35and find a decent
47:36ranking among the queens
47:37of season 4
47:383.
47:39Kelly Mantle's
47:40Downton Abbey
47:41Also known
47:42as the Baconator
47:42For Kelly Mantle
47:44a well-intentioned
47:45use of flower fabric
47:46went terribly wrong
47:47in the 6th season premiere
47:49In an attempt
47:49to make a look
47:50inspired by Downton Abbey
47:51she presented an outfit
47:53that while unremarkable
47:54at first glance
47:55was critiqued
47:56for having a top piece
47:57looking more like
47:58bacon than flower petals
47:59Is that bacon
48:00on your chest?
48:02What is it?
48:03They're flower petals
48:05I'm still getting bacon
48:07Once that was pointed out
48:08there was no way
48:09not to see uncooked
48:10breakfast meat
48:11across her chest
48:12Ordinarily
48:12everything is better
48:13wrapped in bacon
48:14but not Kelly
48:15And despite being
48:17remembered mostly
48:18for the unfortunate
48:18looking outfit
48:19Kelly has shown
48:20she's able to laugh
48:21at her mistakes
48:22in hindsight
48:22which makes a winner
48:23at least when it
48:24comes to attitude
48:25You know what
48:26surprised me the most
48:27was that the judges
48:28weren't hungry
48:28for my bacon
48:30I mean what
48:31is everyone a vegan
48:32nowadays in LA?
48:342.

48:42Kennedy Davenport
48:43was very lucky
48:44that her team
48:45managed to not
48:46be on the bottom
48:47the week she chose
48:47to wear this number
48:48She took to the runway
48:49the theme of which
48:50was Death Becomes Her
48:52in a bizarre
48:52orange jumpsuit
48:54adorned with feathers
48:55and what looks like
48:56coagulated blood
48:57After a night of hooking
48:58I got a tape
48:59and thrown in the fire
49:00and crystallized
49:01In Untucked
49:03she explained
49:03that the story
49:04behind it
49:05is that a pimp
49:05gutted a hooker
49:06and burned her alive
49:07but instead of dying
49:08she crystallized
49:10They say a joke
49:11is no good
49:12if it has to be explained
49:13and here
49:14apparently the same
49:15could be said
49:15for a high concept outfit

49:491. Lala Ri's Bag Ball
49:54Lala Ri
49:54She got this at Saks
49:58By the time season 13
49:59rolled around
50:00the queens had no excuse
50:02for not knowing how to sew
50:03That didn't stop
50:04the charismatic Lala Ri
50:05from enlisting the help
50:06of hot glue
50:07and Jesus
50:08for this challenge though
50:09as her lack of familiarity
50:11with sewing machines
50:12resulted in an instantly
50:13iconic look
50:14for all the wrong reasons
50:16Lord girl
50:17can you please help me out
50:18The idea was to attach
50:20brightly colored bags
50:21onto a corset
50:22to create a dress
50:23However as time ran down
50:24and the bags ran out
50:25Lala was forced
50:26to walk the runway
50:27in this um
50:28outfit
50:29I guess you could call it
50:30Added the purse
50:31on my head
50:32because I want them
50:32to focus on
50:33like the head up
50:34when they kind of
50:35look past
50:35the construction
50:36of the actual outfit
50:37Credit where it's due
50:38she sold the garment
50:39and served the lip sync
50:41but this look
50:42will go down
50:42as a shining example
50:44of what not to do
50:45in a design challenge
50:46It's what they call
50:47a bag lady
