00:23Sa makabagong panahon, hindi dapat napag-iiwanan ang sektor ng edukasyon.

00:32Yan ang target ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:36kaya tuloy ang mga hakbang para palakasin pa ang basic education sa bansa.

00:43Kabilang nariyan ang paglulunsad ng Accelerating Governance and Adaptive Pedagogy

00:57through Artificial Intelligence o Agapay na pinangunahan mismo ng Pangulo.

01:02Umbrella program ito ng DepEd para sa lahat ng inisyatiba, kaugnay ng AI.

01:06This is what we're trying to do today, standing next to our people and bridging the gap between technology and education.

01:15We all know that AI is shaping the way that we communicate and the way that we solve everyday problems.

01:23Our responsibility now is to ensure that our students use AI confidently and ethically,

01:30enabling them to stay ahead in this learning journey that they are going through.

01:35Pero bukod anya sa mga mag-aaral, mapapalakas din ang kakayahan ng mga guro,

01:41ng teaching personnel at mga magulang sa paggamit at integrasyon ng AI sa basic education.

01:47With the support of the ASEAN Foundation and Google.org,

01:50the DepEd will roll out a national AI skills training program

01:55that will reach up to 1.5 million Filipinos, including learners, teachers, and parents.

02:04This means that students will learn how AI works.

02:09Teachers can learn how to integrate AI into their lessons.

02:13And parents can guide their children in using AI safely and wisely at home.

02:19Gayunman binigyang diin ng Pangulo na bagaman malaking tulong ang AI sa pag-aaral ng mga esensyante,

02:25may ilang bagay pa rin anya na hindi magagawa ang teknolohiya.

02:28Technology cannot replace discipline. It cannot replace effort.

02:32It cannot replace the habit of showing up prepared and ready to learn.

02:37It cannot replace hard work.

02:40That is how we build a bagong Pilipinas.

02:43One that is enabled by technology and powered by Filipinos

02:47who choose to learn, to work, and to aspire for a better future for all.

02:54I wouldn't be too dependent on it since AI nga po, it's only there po to help us and not replace us.

03:01We are very grateful because this is an opportunity for us, teachers and students,

03:06to really apply this artificial intelligence in our educational system.

03:13I think it will be a great help for us.

03:16Ipinunto pa ng Pangulo na itinutulak ngayon ang pamahalaan ng pagbuo ng Philippine AI Program Framework

03:22na layong ihanda ang ekonomiya ng bansa sa hinaharap.

03:26Tututok ito sa pagpapatibay ng imprastruktura,

03:29kabilang ang high-performance computing,

03:31at sa pag-upskill ng mga guro at mga manggagawa

03:33na mahalagang bahagi anya ng pagunlad ng bansa.

03:38Samantala in inspection naman ng Pangulo ang kinukumponin gusali ng San Francisco High School

03:43matapos masunog noong Hunyo ng nakaraang taon.

03:46Target anya itong matapos sa buwan ng Hunyo,

03:49kasabay ng pagbubukas ng panibagong school year.

03:51Mula sa dating dalawang palapag na may labindalawang classroom,

03:55ay iya-upgrade na ito sa apat na palapag na may kabuoang 36 classrooms.

04:00Napakiusapan natin ang SM na magtayo din ng 24 classrooms.

04:05Kaya ito na yung construction para sa mga bagong classroom

04:08na gagawin ng public works para sa DepEd.

04:13Pinangunahan din niya ang pagsasagawa ng yaman ng kalusugan program

04:16o yakap caravan sa naturang eskwelahan,

04:19kung saan nakatanggap ang nasa dalawang daang mga guro at estudyante

04:22ng libreng konsultasyon, gamot, vision screening at lab tests.
