00:00go from minnesota tonight this is a fox news alert breaking news out of portland police are
00:06confirming that two people are in the hospital following a shooting involving federal agents
00:11we're going to monitor the situation and bring you more as we get it tensions are very high
00:17though tonight apparently across the country but tonight in minneapolis where agitators have been
00:22clashing with ice all day after a deadly shooting with an agent national correspondent garrett tenny
00:28is live on the ground garrett what can you tell us yeah laura we have multiple protests happening
00:35across the city tonight and hundreds of people are taking part in these demonstrations this one
00:40is outside a federal building where ice has its regional office we have seen more than a dozen
00:46people arrested here today several for throwing bottles at border patrol agents have had to use
00:52tear gas and pepper balls to break up the crowd a few times but you can see even after what happened
00:56yesterday this guy was out in the street trying to block federal agents from driving down the road
01:02at these protests and from state officials you hear a very different version of what happened yesterday
01:07compared to the account from federal officials who say 37 year old renee good tried to run an ice agent
01:12over with her car and that the agent was justified when he shot and killed her in response well now
01:19listen to how minnesota attorney general keith ellison described it what she was doing was an act of
01:25tremendous neighborliness she clearly was not trying to harm anyone she was actually trying to help
01:32people and even at the moment of her death she appeared to be trying to get away not engage
01:39ellison went on to say that even before seeing all of the evidence there are multiple charges the
01:46state could potentially bring against that ice officer that'll be a bit tricky for now though because
01:50the fbi has now taken over this investigation and state officials say they no longer have access
01:56to the case materials evidence from the scene or the interviews that have been done as these protests
02:01continue tonight the minnesota national guard is on standby in case things get out of hand very
02:08different from what we saw five years ago when governor tim walls waited three days to activate the guard
02:14and at that point the city was burning laura garrett thank you so much and look there is nothing like
02:24being on the ground talking to people to try to get a clearer picture of the story which is what we did
02:31today in minneapolis right now about 300 people here fairly peaceful i guess some antifa or back there
02:39but they're gonna have fires food water a lot of people in masks but people are coming out and expressing themselves
02:49and it almost it kind of takes on almost a community civic event
02:55i don't want to say celebration but it's a gathering
02:59and although it was pretty peaceful like and it really was i mean for in that vigil it was basically
03:07people you know they had they had a fire they were giving out food water and you know some people were
03:14chanting so that was fine but if you actually go into the mix and try to chat with people you end up
03:21getting escorted out and they're kind of nicely but aggressively escort you out across their border
03:28so then we headed over to the whipple federal building where garrett just was and earlier in the day you
03:33saw some of those you know those conflicts between the ice officers and the protesters were there and
03:39things there well they got a little more interesting yeah why are you wearing a mask why are you wearing
03:47a mask because my nose is cold why do you care if i'm wearing a mask i'm just curious it's a question
03:53this is the crowd uh and they apparently are policing their borders so they're policing their borders
04:00here which is fascinating shame shame oh it's so boring shame shame do you have a job do you have a job
04:08shame shame shame i'm getting pain right now well and as we were leaving um in our vehicle they you
04:17know they did what they can do they gave us all the finger i think they secretly liked us so
04:23but a few observations here so the protests are always smaller than they look on tv many of them many
04:30of the folks there seem to you know seem like they do this for a recreation and there are others
04:35there truly mourning and really upset and others seem to be people who just don't believe the united
04:42states should have any borders but again they sure do aggressively police their own borders
04:49and while again there were plenty of people there just peacefully protesting there are just as many
04:54people out there who seem like lifelong members of the agitator industrial complex you heard that one
05:00woman unclear whether she was joking or not saying she was paid for being there huh interesting so even
05:07if they're not throwing stuff or physically blocking ice disrespecting law enforcement a lot of them just
05:13seem perpetually pissed off well and i wonder why as we see with what's happening is more horrible news
05:20out of portland tonight rage is being stoked and it's mostly being stoked by a party with no solutions
05:27they wanted a moment like this and look it happened we should not have ice agents patrolling our streets
05:35they're not needed they create chaos and they even create deaths there are going to be protests
05:40around this entire country because of the state sanctioned execution that we all saw blood is clearly
05:47on the hands of those individuals within the administration ice has been carrying out
05:52state sanctioned state sanctioned violence in our communities we have seen them uh terrorize so many
05:59of uh citizens but the worst of the worst today was a slimy comment by the ever odious tim walls governor
06:08of this state claiming that he wants to calm things down and then he invokes a nazi threat we're at one of
06:15those inflection points that simply asking our government to give us accountability listen to local
06:24leaders ratchet down the rhetoric let people feel safe we remembered many of us in here in sophomore
06:32and we read it that the the party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears
06:37it was their final most important directive um it certainly feels like that in this moment
06:45okay so we want to tamp things down as we keep vilifying law enforcement federal agents and i also
06:53say where is the empathy for the ice officer involved in that shooting yesterday who according to the new
06:58york post was himself dragged and hospitalized by an illegal alien driver last year the attack on the
07:07officer whom the post is not naming happened june 17th in bloomington minnesota exactly a month after
07:13embattled minnesota governor tim wallace labeled ice agents modern day gestapo while speaking at the
07:19university of minnesota law school graduation and today vice president vance blasted democrats
07:25and the media for lying about the basic facts everybody who's been repeating the lie that this
07:31is some innocent woman who was out for a drive in minneapolis when a law enforcement officer shot
07:36at her you should be ashamed of yourselves every single one of you if the media wants to tell the
07:41truth they ought to tell the truth that a group of left-wing radicals have been working tirelessly
07:46sometimes using domestic terror techniques to try to make it impossible for the president of the united
07:52states to do what the american people elected him to do which is enforce our immigration laws you
07:57people in the media not everybody in this room but many people in this room have been lying about this
08:03attack she was trying to ram this guy with his with her car he shot back he defended himself he's
08:11already been seriously wounded in law enforcement operations before
08:15U.S. border patrol chief greg bovino is here reacting to all of us
08:22uh it's great to see you um officer officer officer bovino is that correct
08:27it's agent bovino okay well agent bovino it's great to see you here it was interesting to be
08:32on the ground today at the what they call as a vigil and it seemed like it was a community gathering
08:38it seemed pretty proseful i mean they don't like us but fine but it seemed fairly peaceful although
08:44man they police their border pretty well there i mean they don't they don't like anyone in their
08:48area that doesn't agree with them which i found interesting oh well laura thanks for having me
08:52tonight but it's very interesting how intolerant some of those individuals are when you talk about
08:58them policing their own border we see that quite often as you know out in the streets here in
09:02minneapolis chicago los angeles new orleans charlotte all those places we've been we see
09:08exactly what you're talking about illegal aliens have every right to be here but conservatives have
09:13no right to be here i mean that's basically it that's exactly that's what they're saying that is what
09:18they are saying this violent rhetoric whether it's a tim waltz uh newsome a pritzer that is what they're
09:24saying is they're choosing those illegal aliens over american citizens and over american law enforcement
09:30it's reprehensible i was told that um yesterday and i was told this today by a 26-year veteran of
09:38of the secret service that he has never seen a time where state and local officials had not
09:44supported the visit of a cabinet secretary to this state and yesterday there was no support of the
09:50visit of christy gnome who came to address the horrible tragedy of yesterday is that is that
09:56surprising to you i mean you all usually work together it's always surprising state and local
10:01law enforcement and federal law enforcement have traditionally worked together on a myriad of
10:05missions whether it's protecting a cabinet level member coming or that local law enforcement
10:10effort helping us they've always supported us but we don't see that now today out on the streets
10:15laura i didn't see it as well we were in minneapolis we had assaults all kinds of violence towards
10:22border patrol agents where were the police yeah well and uh tim wallace is speaking out a lot today we
10:27have another clip i want you to react to it let's watch we have learned that the trump administration has
10:33now denied the state that ability to participate in the investigation and i just want to make this as
10:38clear as possible to everyone minnesota must be part of this investigation these are non-partisan
10:46career professionals that have spent years building the trust of the community
10:54uh well your reaction to that i mean he's like it's it's the fault of you guys not we can't build
10:59trust when ice comes in and does its job apparently exactly you know laura we are making these communities
11:04safer places we already are building that trust if you ask 95 of the american citizens that we come into
11:10contact they absolutely love what we're doing but yet governor waltz detracts from the trust that we're
11:17trying to build in these cities in these communities across america it's amazing this is
11:22this is getting i mean it's not getting we've a dead dead american we have other um you know
11:28injuries in portland tonight uh and they're not stopping they say oh let's tamp down the rhetoric so
11:33they say that and then there's always the line like implying or concluding that this was almost
11:39the murder of this uh renee good yesterday and i've got to say i engaged with one of the protesters
11:45today and she said they're not making our community safe it was at the vigil and she was you know you
11:51know she doesn't make us safe in fact they're causing the problem and i and i asked her i said well
11:56what about the sexual offender was picked up today uh isn't that good for the community like the police
12:02could do that the police should be doing that yet the police will not touch immigration we arrested
12:08two illegal aliens from somalia today on the streets of minneapolis both with significant sexual assault
12:14one of them is a sexual one with sexual assault and others had very long rap sheets where the police
12:20arresting them or if the police do arrest them why aren't they turning them over to ice and border
12:24patrol at when you ask them that they don't seem to have an answer laura your message to those
12:29tonight who believe the uh protests that are breaking out and again i it's not that many
12:36people it's real i mean there's some real bad actors other people that seem to be there and
12:39they're just holding their signs and they're screaming in their bullhorns but it's kind of not
12:44it's not that bad i mean as as far as what i've seen in the george floyd era hopefully it doesn't get
12:50that bad but they want to push you guys out of here your message to them tonight you know every city
12:55we've been to whether chicago los angeles or now minneapolis take a look at what president trump
13:00and secretary gnome have accomplished double digit figure drop in crime let me say that again laura
13:06double digit figures drops in crime and that's why we're here and you're going to see that here in
13:12minneapolis uh starting yesterday all right agent great to see you as always can't believe i didn't
13:17see you out there i think they all secretly liked me in the protest i actually talked to them they
13:21were shocked that i didn't have horns good to see you my friend good to see you all right as
13:25anarchists descend on minneapolis over the presence of ice the trump administration i'm telling you you
13:32got that from agent bovino they are not backing down and they're also not backing away from tracking
13:39down rooting out and exposing what is billions of dollars in fraud what we're doing in order to help
13:48coordinate this remarkable interagency effort from the trump administration but also to make sure
13:53that we prosecute the bad bad guys and do it as swiftly and efficiently as possible is we are
13:59creating a new assistant attorney general position who will have nationwide jurisdiction over the issue
14:06of fraud now of course that person's efforts will start and focus primarily in minnesota but it is going
14:12to be a nationwide effort because unfortunately the american people have been defrauded in a very
14:18nationwide way tim wall should resign because it's very clear either that he knew about the fraud in
14:23minneapolis he knew about the welfare fraud or at the very least he looked the other way
14:29and treasury secretary scott besant who we travel with today to minnesota has a plan to tackle fraud
14:36and he joins us now um mr secretary a lot of people forget that just like marco rubio you wear many hats
14:44you're also the irs commissioner you have tools to go after this fraud and you have new um announcements
14:51to make about how you're going to do that yeah laura thank you for having me and look this this is an
14:57outrage president trump is outraged i'm outraged the whole administration is outraged and we are here
15:02to follow the money because that's what treasury does we have done that for years we we did it with
15:09the mafia we have done it with the cartels and now we are going to do it the with these somali fraudsters
15:17and treasury has something called fincen financial crimes enforcement network and we are coming in
15:25and we're coming in uh tomorrow we are announcing that four investigations into money service businesses
15:33that we believe may have wired money out of the country a lot of the ill-gotten stolen money over
15:40to the middle east over to somalia we'll see where that's going so we're announcing investigations into
15:46four of those money service businesses we are going to put in what we call a geographical top the
15:54targeting order so there's something called suspicious activity report if a certain amount of money gets
16:00wired uh anywhere so we're lowering that to three thousand and we're also targeting the two counties
16:08here and we're going to do enhanced surveillance and from now on anyone who wires money out from one of
16:15these money service businesses has to check a box saying whether they are on public assistance and
16:22if you were on public assistance we are going to start pushing that you cannot wire money out of the
16:28country oh gosh so what if they lie and they don't tell us well then that's a crime lying on a federal
16:33form we're going to follow it up and we are going to push that you can no longer do that the american
16:41people our generosity has been taken advantage of our generosity is funding al-shabaab in iranian
16:47interests it could be well the money this is really bad the money is supposed to go for alleged asylum
16:54seekers and their families and children and if you were wiring the money out of the country
16:59one of two things must be true you are getting too much money and your benefits should be cut
17:05or you are part of this conspiracy where did that money come from we're going to find it out
17:10that's what treasury does irs has a group called criminal investigations criminal investigations was the
17:17group who originally solved or solved the fraud and brought all the charges to light here we want
17:24we want people in handcuffs we want we want this shut down these money remittances places you see
17:28them all over the city you know you just can tell by the storefront it reminds me of the child
17:33you know autism centers it all looks phony it all looks shady and it's got to stop well people are
17:39people are ticked off about this well beyond ticked off yeah i'm more i agree with you i know you are and
17:44look we believe the g8 general accounting office believes there's between 300 600 billion dollars of
17:51fraud president trump asked for 500 billion more to defend the united states of america if we could
17:57cut out fraud we cut up fraud we can the flex up our military budget by 50 percent oh no we need
18:05that too and the president announced today a massive bond purchase mr secretary of 200 billion dollars to
18:10drive down mortgage rates and monthly payments makes make the cost of owning a home more affordable
18:16i guess these funds are going to come from fannie mae freddie mac um that in addition to the move that
18:21he's going to announce against private equity institutional investors buying single family homes he's hearing
18:27the people they want these housing prices to come down they're artificially inflated uh is this
18:32all going to hold up well we don't necessarily want the prices of houses to come down what
18:36we want is affordability to get better so since president trump came in in january uh mortgage rates
18:42are down almost a percent and what the fannie and freddie buying will do is compress the spread between
18:49mortgages and treasury bills so fed is currently selling mortgages fannie and freddie can offset that
18:56buying on the other side uh the institutional investors have a tax advantage when they buy
19:04single-family homes this is new institutional investors never used to be private equity hedge
19:09funds mutual funds yeah and they were never in this before the great financial crisis but all
19:14all those homes came on the market they hoovered them up they've kept doing it and they that they
19:21buy some somewhere between two five percent of the houses every year more in select markets push the
19:27prices up and we're not going to make them divest but we're going to put an end to the buying there's
19:34a projection today by one of and forgive me for not having it at my fingertips that the gdp for the
19:41fourth quarter could end up being 5.9 percent i might have sent it over to your people but that's a
19:46projection from a very very well respected economic well it's the atlanta fed that's what it is thank
19:52you i can't remember everything give me a break but that's huge if that's true that's game over for
19:58the midterms well laura the numbers have been incredible that we we had 4.3 percent the recently
20:04for the for the third quarter and 4.3 percent the is all in the government shrank 0.4 so the real
20:14number was 4.7 so that is a 4.3 private sector number laura and you know what contributed the
20:21most i haven't seen it i was in the investment business for 40 years and trade exports exceeded imports
20:28our trade deficit shrank we're back down to 2009 levels thanks to the president's trade agenda
20:33i love it and it's growing gdp okay and everyone's surprised by that except you myself james
20:40grier the president jd vance we got a role but we're going to talk to you tomorrow as well because
20:44you have a lot going on in this state he likes to go where the action is what can i say mr secretary
20:49we'll see you tomorrow good to see him and we are live here on the ground in minnesota covering the
20:53ice protests exposing the fraud covering the economic ideas to revitalize the state bring it back into the
20:59fold of sanity here in minnesota and up next trump fires a warning shot at china i love this story the new
21:06details next officers there responding found a male and a female with apparent gunshot wounds following
21:15a shooting with federal agents they were transported to the local hospital their condition at this moment
21:22unknown we're showing you video where they were both found sources telling fox's bill malusion that the
21:29incident involved customs and border patrol agents not ice we will bring you more as we confirm new
21:36details and president trump we've been all over this story has china reeling tonight still over our
21:45operation in venezuela now you all know by now that this is a move that was not only done to arrest maduro
21:52but at its core to beat back chinese influence in our hemisphere beijing was the biggest buyer of
21:58venezuelan oil but not anymore china and russia of course they don't have any place in our hemisphere
22:05certainly shouldn't be allowed to you know set up their own outposts in the western hemisphere that
22:10endanger america's national security and sources are claiming that the trump administration told venezuela's
22:17interim president delcy rodriguez that the regime must kick out china russia iran and cuba and severed
22:26economic ties as well as to agree to partner exclusively with the u.s on oil production in
22:33favor the united states when selling heavy crude oil in a new interview the president telling the new
22:39york times that the u.s would be running venezuela and extracting oil from its reserves potentially for
22:46years saying we will rebuild it in a very profitable way we're going to be using oil we're going to be
22:53going to taking oil we're getting oil prices down we're going to be giving money to venezuela which
22:58they desperately need that is a tall order and vice president vance explained today why we should not
23:06stop at venezuela greenland is really important not just to america's missile defense but to the world's
23:12missile defense number two we know that there are hostile adversaries that have shown a lot of interest
23:18in that particular territory that particular slice of the world so what we're asking our european
23:23friends to do is to take the security of that land mass more seriously because if they're not the
23:28united states is going to have to do something about it you bet and here to discuss gordon chang
23:33gatestone institute senior fellow uh gordon i've been dying to talk to you you know since uh saturday in
23:39the wee hours of the morning um it is important is it not that greenland not become a satellite or an
23:48adversary um uh and use be used by china or russia uh as a as an outpost against the united states as
23:57we're talking about these emerging threats absolutely laura we know that the chinese and russians have
24:04great interest in greenland and we also know something else in the january denmark's foreign
24:10defense minister actually admitted that copenhagen had neglected the defense of greenland well if
24:18denmark is not doing it then somebody has to and that has to be the united states
24:24well gordon what we know is that china through its belt and road initiative
24:30has been frankly brilliantly assembling a a series of strategic ports across the globe
24:40most notably in africa uh even in in trying to buy ports and manage ports in the united states
24:47they have hundreds of thousands forget that millions of people in the united states
24:53who've come to the united states some with on birth tourism others buying property and so they're
24:59moving on all fronts and don't you think president trump has just seen enough of this and said wait a
25:05second we we we we we need to secure the hemisphere but a place like greenland can we can we actually
25:12trust that that stays in danish hands and that you know denmark doesn't somehow give way to chinese
25:21influence we can't really take that risk
25:23yeah we have a real problem in the arctic because we also have a canada that for
25:29decades neglected the defense you know you had justin trudeau the former prime minister basically
25:35his attitude was well if there's ever a problem in the north the americans will come and rescue us
25:41so clearly the canadian government and the danish government are not up to it
25:45all right gordon gordon uh i think this
25:53reset in the western hemisphere is long overdue and only marco rubio jd vance donald j trump could
26:02see it at 50 000 feet level and we'll we'll see if the media ever catches up but i actually think most
26:08people in the media would be fine if the ccp took venezuela i don't think they'd have any problem with
26:14that don't you agree the press is fine with china having more uh infiltration in the western hemisphere
26:19they don't see it as a threat yeah and the important thing though is that president trump sees
26:25it as a threat we saw that in the national security strategy which was issued last month and we see it
26:30with his actions remember marco rubio's first trip as secretary of state was to panama that is
26:36critical it shows the administration's priorities to do something about that critical canal zone
26:43all right gordon thank you very much and it was a wild time on capitol hill as five gop senators
26:50joined with um joined against trump hate and joined with trump hating democrats on the war powers act
26:58resolution sponsored by democrat senator tim kane now the measure would tie trump's hands by preventing
27:04him from using federal resources in any further action in venezuela i hope those five gop renegades
27:11are happy because they made liberals today happy we are all um pleased by the results in the senate uh
27:19the senate passed um 52 to 47 senator kane's uh joint resolution this was a big win today to have every
27:26democrat unified and really applaud the number of republicans who uh with submerging by senator paul and our
27:33discussions got on board so what we did today was not a partisan act i'm very grateful to the republicans
27:39who joined us oh they're giddy they're giddy nice try but this isn't going anywhere so the vote today was
27:46procedural and even when the full measure passes the senate and probably the house the president will
27:51obviously veto it so our operation in venezuela guys it's not a war it's a reset and it's necessary for
27:59america's future independence it's going to be tricky and they're going to be ups and downs and maybe even
28:04problems but the strategic plan is well within the president's article two powers and trump oh for his
28:12part and you saw this was coming he blasted the defector republicans saying republicans should be
28:17ashamed of the senators that voted with the democrats and attempting to take away our powers to fight and
28:23defend the united states collins murkowski rand paul josh hawley todd young should never be elected to
28:30office again here to discuss is missouri senator eric schmidt um senator um this was wild today you know
28:40rand paul we kind of expected that maybe even susan collins but what are your colleagues especially
28:46josh hawley he was a bit of a surprise what are they not understanding about president trump's
28:53actions in venezuela well we're not at war this was a flawless law enforcement action that was done
29:01to bring back to the united states for justice an indicted uh illegitimate communist dictator that sent
29:07drugs and criminals into our country and also was playing host to china russia and iran in our own
29:13backyard right so this was a flawlessly executed plan the military i have to tell you laura we got
29:18a briefing um this week and most of these all senator briefings they don't amount to much it was
29:23incredible as uh general kane went through the the coordination that took place from all the armed
29:28forces this joint effort cyber everything it's pretty incredible no military in the history of the world
29:33could pull this off and to your point earlier this is what we've been talking about this is what i love
29:38a renewed focus now on the homeland the western hemisphere and of course our chief adversary in
29:44china with the indo-pacific that's what this means there's rejection of this wandering foreign policy
29:48we've had for a long time we're very focused now on our own backyard and we're simply not going to
29:53tolerate some tenpot dictator who is narco terrorist who's hosting the chinese in our backyard and emptying
30:00his prisons in some of the united states to exist you know to continue to go on so there's a continuity
30:05of government laura the vice president's been sworn in we still have the naval uh quarantine and we
30:10control what oil comes out which is the ultimate leverage all right senator i'm very sorry we're
30:16short on time tonight we'll make it up to you soon thank you so much and coming up now what's been
30:22happening here in minnesota is not a surprise to the ingram angle why well we'll explain so stay right there
30:36minnesota is a mess thanks to the democrats but minneapolis mayor jacob fry wants americans to believe
30:43they're the party of law and order one of the most frustrating things that we've seen from these ice
30:49agents is again they are not here to drive down crime if we're talking about safety we're on board
30:57as democrats we've got to be very clear eyed we are anti-crime we are pro safety okay
31:05well let me tell you something that's just we're all laughing here watching this in the rotunda the
31:10last thing that minneapolis needs is democrat leadership i don't even know if that qualifies
31:14as democrat leadership in 2020 the city descended into total chaos george floyd riots democrats though
31:21they kind of look back on it almost fondly like tim walls's wife who said remember when she was i
31:26could smell the burning tires i kept the windows open as long as i could because i felt like there
31:31was such a touchstone of what was happening during all that chaos here to weigh in john justice twin
31:36cities news talk morning host and nick sorter independent journalist i feel like you're my brothers
31:41in arms here and good arms we've been through a lot together an intellectual arm um it's great to have
31:46have you both uh with us tonight here in minneapolis um fry and waltz want to have it both ways right
31:52you heard them all today oh no we got to ratchet down the rhetoric rhetoric then they go back to the
31:56nazi germany you know references this is what they've wanted all along they've been encouraging
32:02these individuals these constitutional observers to go out there and watch ice but all they've been
32:07doing is obstructing they've created this completely false narrative it's like up is down black is white a
32:14boy is a is a girl and people are buying into it and unfortunately tragically they're losing their
32:20lives because they're being encouraged to go out and get in the way of ice and law enforcement from
32:25them just doing their jobs yeah 37 year old mom in that car shouldn't have been there uh shouldn't
32:31have been in that situation you know we'll learn more about it i'm not going to pronounce on the
32:35investigation but someone's dead we have we have more injuries in portland tonight as well involving
32:41customs border patrol nick i want to play a snippet that was shared a little bit of at the beginning
32:45of the show i went over to the ice um detention sorry ice federal building where ice is stationed i
32:51know you've been there you've probably been over there as well but not that many people there this
32:56kind of it kind of has a professional protester feel about it some people were nice but this is one
33:02of my first moments walking into the crowd watch yeah why are you wearing a mask why are you wearing a
33:10mask because my nose is cold why do you care if i'm wearing a mask i'm just curious it's a question
33:16this is the crowd uh and they apparently are police their borders so they're policing their borders here
33:24which is fascinating shame shame oh it's so boring shame shame do you have a job do you have a job
33:36yeah she said we cut it off too soon there i don't know why but she said yes this is my job
33:44she's being paid she said that on camera and then they started giving us the middle finger we're
33:49driving away and they just that was the middle finger yeah and so they've uh as you heard in
33:54that video they've learned a new word and it's agitator so they'll come up and say agitator agitator
33:59and then everybody else will join in on the same thing they don't actually know what the word means
34:02because the people that are agitating are the ones that are surrounding you and screaming in your face
34:09and calling you a nazi that's the agitation your presence is not agitation that's what the portland
34:15police tried to arrest me for they were saying that i was the agitator this is impossibly
34:19short tonight i'll have you back tomorrow night there's going to be more stuff that happens i
34:22hope you're both around tomorrow night great to see you both and coming up the liberal media
34:26anoints the democrats new savior
34:33media they're trying to propel california governor gavin newsom to the top of the trash
34:38heap known as the democrat party the atlantic giving california's dreamboat a glowing profile calling him
34:45one of the most visible anti-trump forces in america and claiming his idea of strength includes
34:50a willingness to fight dirty and going lower than barack obama could ever imagine the outlet claims
34:56that newsom would be rather well rather be wrong than weak so gavin did his best his best tough guy
35:04impression today at his state of the state address the federal government respectfully it's unrecognizable
35:11protecting the powerful at the expense of the vulnerable no one particularly the president of
35:17the united states stands above the law the president believes that might makes right but the courts are
35:25simply speed bumps not stop signs
35:31here with us is kellyann conway former senior counselor to president trump and fox news contributor
35:37in long time bff with gavin newsom kellyann it's great to see you um oh no
35:45well yeah i mean kellyann fun fact fun fact
35:50gavin newsom was the first guest of my radio show that launched in march of 2021 okay when he was on
35:59the board of uh supervisors in san francisco he was more reasonable back then but what do you think
36:04about uh the frontrunner the democrat frontrunner well i'm not surprised the mainstream media thinks
36:11this is the guy because the mainstream media like the donors they're always wrong about who's next they
36:15don't have connective tissue with the voters here's how you get elected president voters have
36:21confidence in your competence it's that simple and when you look at gavin newsom's california the facts
36:26and figures are unmistakable laura he has the highest homeless he has one of the highest tax rates
36:31one of the highest numbers of businesses fleeing the state they just don't want to be there anymore
36:36and when you look at what happened with the fires just a year ago i think spencer pratt now running for
36:42mayor of l.a has said it best he said look they let the brush grow no prescribed fires and then there's
36:48a woman named janice quinones i want everybody to remember this woman's name 750 000 a year to be ceo
36:54of the quote department of water laura they didn't have enough water she's in charge of water i'm sorry
37:00my philly accent says water she's in charge of water they didn't have enough so he's going to eat and
37:04own all of these failings and flailings no one's going to care that he's good on social media and
37:11trolling trump they're not even going to care that he's good looking they're going to care that he ran
37:16our largest state in a way that makes people feel confident that he would be a competent chief
37:21executive in washington and that record is just not there well you compare the record and i imagine if
37:28these gdp projections from the atlanta fed are correct we're going to have a 5.9 gdp on the fourth quarter
37:35and it's going to go up from there so compare the record of trump and newsome and it's it's game over
37:43kellyanne 22nd close well i agree with that also i think that his ascension recently is an online
37:51ascension not an offline ascension and that animates the mainstream media and the political cognoscenti
37:57but most voters live their lives offline not online laura so they're going to look at the metrics
38:01last thing it just shows how weak the bench is so mayor pete kamala the whole crew the fact that
38:07gavin newsom the sitting governor of california in this terrible record is the front runner according
38:12to many people tells you all you need to know about how weak the rest of the bench is
38:17out the window is when they go low we go high now they go low and then they go lower kellyanne it's
38:23always great to see you my friend take care and more of the angle in minnesota next
38:35we're back with the fox news alert on the shooting out of portland involving border patrol
38:39agents here now our uh our dear friend fox news senior national correspondent kevin cork joins us
38:45he has new details about what happened out there kev what can you tell us laura basically what was
38:50happening was customs and border protection were actually attempting a targeted vehicle stop they
38:56had an apparent subject who they believed was an illegal alien from venezuela along with a suspected
39:03gang member from trenday aragua now once they identified themselves the driver of that vehicle by
39:08the way it was a man and a woman the driver of that vehicle attempted to take off and use that vehicle in
39:14a battering ram fashion and so the agent fearing for life and safety did engage with gunfire we are
39:21told we don't have an update on the condition of the two suspects but we do know that the folks in
39:26portland including the police department are urging calm tonight in that city which as you know is known
39:32for its descent but we do know that the agent apparently is okay laura
39:38thank you kevin that is amazing trender agua gang member well here in minneapolis we're learning a lot
39:45on the ground as i said at the outset of this show there's nothing like being here we'll be back in
39:51minnesota tomorrow covering the ice involved shooting the fraud uh and we'll have a lot on social media so
39:59check me out on instagram and x extended video files of my time with the protesters jesse waters prime time
