00:00I'm Jason Chaffetz in for Laura Ingraham, and this is a special edition of the Ingraham
00:09Angle. Thank you for joining us. New details about the trans school shooter, what police
00:15found when they searched his house, plus Eric Adams playing mediator to violent gangs.
00:23I'm going to see if I could convince some of the gang members to come and sit down. It could be
00:29at Gracie Manchin. Then girls needing to claim mental illness just so they don't have to change
00:37in front of a boy? Why would you want to make a girl feel like there's something wrong with her
00:44for having her feelings? And they're singing again.
00:52I just love it when they sing. All that and more. But first, it's not often that a brand is so bad
01:10that its former leaders publicly brainstorm about how to fix it. But that's exactly what former DNC
01:16chairman Jamie Harrison is doing. There are a lot of reasons the brand for the party
01:21is suffering. But part of the reason is that we are always like if you look at the Republican
01:25side on the flip side, they are not talking about, well, well, we're getting this. We got this wrong
01:30the last time and we get this wrong. Man, they get drunk all the time. But no, but they don't talk
01:35about it. Part of the reason why they win is because they're not talking about it. It's like you got a
01:39brand new car and every day you throw mud on it. He is right. The brand is suffering. It's one of
01:46the worst brands there is. And when a brand is suffering, you need to analyze what's going wrong.
01:52For example, Democrats could admit their previous leader who struggled to speak coherently was
01:59possibly, I don't know, a wee bit too old to run the country. Was President Biden old? Yes. I mean,
02:06he was damn old. But when you take a look at it, Charlamagne, when you look at what this man was
02:11trying to do, I'd rather take an old Joe Biden on a respirator right now than a got Donald Trump
02:17right now who's destroying this country. That type of rhetoric is exactly why y'all lost.
02:2314 months ago, Democrats were telling us Joe Biden, he was vibrant, right? He was running the country
02:29brilliantly and they were prepared for four more years of Joe. Well, old habits, they're tough to
02:36kick. Objectively speaking, you take a look at all that Joe Biden got done legislatively and you
02:42compare it, you can compare it to Ronald Reagan, you can compare it to George W. Bush, Barack Obama,
02:47Bill Clinton. There has not been a president that got more done legislatively than any president since
02:53Lyndon Baines Johnson. Perhaps Harrison should share a small bit of truth and then deflect.
03:01Do you think they got it wrong on the border? Oh, yeah. There are things that we should have
03:06done better on the border. Yes, I agree with you. Do you think they got it wrong talking about
03:09Bidenomics when they know that people weren't feeling that in their pockets and they know that
03:12people weren't feeling that, you know, at the grocery store? I think what they should have done
03:16is connecting the economics people to the economic stuff that they got done. Then I think people
03:22would have felt better about it, right? Jamie, I get what you're trying to do, but the election's
03:28over. Trump won. They thumped you at every possible metric. They thumped you. You don't have to lie
03:37on behalf of Joe anymore. Admit you failed. Your policies failed. Your people failed. The movement
03:43failed. Maybe now it's time to move on, but I don't know that they have it in them to actually move on.
03:48Well, here with reaction is Matt Towery, pollster and political analyst, along with Ben Ferguson,
03:56co-host of The Verdict with Ted Cruz, as well as host of the 47 Morning Update. Great stuff there.
04:03All right, Matt. I don't know how the Democrats can even think about moving forward.
04:08They're stuck in the past. They have trunk derangement syndrome,
04:12and they can't get over it. They just, I mean, here we are in August, and they can't get over it.
04:16Well, and they continue to have surrogates who throw crazy ideas. The newest one is, of course,
04:24that prayer is not good. Right after a tragic shoot, you're not supposed to pray. So that's
04:28another problem they have. On top of their stand against crime, in which they basically say they
04:34don't want Trump to do anything to clean up crime in these blue states. The people see this sort of
04:39stuff, and it really is hurting the brand. You would think the people who advise Cracker Barrel are
04:43advising the Democrats right now. But I want to give one quick warning, though, to all Republicans,
04:47and that is, you know, I'm a pollster. I polled Donald Trump very well. Midterms are not as easy.
04:53And one of the things we're seeing right now from the Real Clear Politics Average, there's not one
04:57poll of the public that says the Republicans are leading in that generic congressional ballot test.
05:02Now, I think it has to do with the way they poll, and I don't think it's really a reality,
05:06but the Republicans need to be ready for the midterms. It's about motivating people to turn
05:11out to vote, and that's going to take some creative things, like Donald Trump talking about having
05:15a pre-midterm convention, which is brilliant. Yeah.
05:19Yeah. It is a brilliant idea. But, Ben,
05:22California Governor Gavin Newsom, well, I mean, he is fear-mongering again. Have a look at this,
05:29and I want to get your reaction.
05:30If he can rig next year's election, you're not—I mean, we joke about not having another one.
05:36I don't think that's a joke. He will wire this for the next 20, 30 years. He's already sending
05:42out mass people to intimidate folks. You think ICE is not going to show up around voting and polling
05:49booths to chill participation? You know that. The National Guard, you know that.
05:56I mean, this is crazy talk. I don't know where the governor gets this stuff.
05:59I just think he's—he's desperate. He's trying to throw spaghetti on the wall,
06:03see if it sticks. But that's sort of some crazy talk, isn't it, Ben?
06:07Yeah. I mean, desperate's almost an understatement here. And, look,
06:09the Democratic Party thinks that they have, like, a comms problem. So they're like,
06:13all right, we're going to tell people that Donald Trump is evil. You already tried that. You did it
06:18for literally a decade. You said that he's insane, and he's going to start World War III. Didn't do it.
06:22He's going to blow up everything with Ukraine. It didn't happen. He's going to get us into another war.
06:27It didn't happen. He's trying to end wars around the country,
06:30or, say, around the world. And so you look at what their problem is right now.
06:34They have a policy problem. What are Democrats in favor of going into the midterms?
06:40More crime? Open borders. They're against praying, and they think it's evil if you're praying
06:45after a school shooting, which is beyond me. And then they're filled with Marxists,
06:49socialists, and communists who can't even figure out what their party's in favor of.
06:54They started their convention by saying we need to give the land back to people, right?
06:59Like, when was the last time a Democrat said, hey, I'm packing up my stuff.
07:03You guys take my house. You guys take the land that we stole.
07:06Like, as soon as a Democrat does that, I'll believe them.
07:09And so this is a policy issue for them.
07:12And, look, I think the Republicans are on great footing here because we know what they're in favor of.
07:17They're in favor of lower crime. Look at Washington, D.C.
07:20They're going to roll this out to other cities.
07:22And Democrats have put themselves in a corner on basic issues that Americans care about.
07:27They're literally saying we would rather you die in our liberal cities
07:30than allow Donald Trump to come in and help us actually take out the murderers and the rapists
07:35and the criminals. So if that's what you're running on, you're a disaster.
07:38Well, Democrats have run on the opposite of whatever Donald Trump,
07:44but Donald Trump has argued about, you know, things like common sense.
07:48So this is the box they put themselves in.
07:51But President Obama, he appears that he wants to dive into the midterms
07:55and he just released this ad. Have a look at this.
08:00Hey, everybody. It's Barack.
08:02And I am here with my good friend, Attorney General Eric Holder,
08:06because we're facing an existential threat to our democracy
08:10and we need your help.
08:11If you want your voice to be heard in next year's midterm elections and beyond,
08:17help us meet this moment and preserve our democracy.
08:22Yeah, there he is. President Obama with his wingman.
08:25Remember, oh, we have to have an independent attorney general.
08:29No, it's always been his wingman.
08:30Matt, what do you think of this effort?
08:32Well, you know, Barack Obama's a smart guy and he knows politics well,
08:36so I'm not going to say that.
08:37But what I'm going to say is same old thing.
08:40It's the same old terms.
08:42We've got to save democracy.
08:44We've got to get people motivated and activated.
08:47There's nothing new to the Democratic Party.
08:49And that's the problem they're facing going into these midterms.
08:53The one thing Republicans have to do is not be complacent.
08:56If they're not complacent, they'll do well.
08:58And let me just add one quick thing, Jason, we have a poll coming out on the Melania Trump
09:02situation with Vanity Fair.
09:05You think that Cracker Barrel was a mistake?
09:08Wait till you see how people feel about Vanity Fair
09:10and how they treated the First Lady of the United States.
09:14Amen.
09:15Good point.
09:16Jason, by the way, one of the things that...
09:19Yeah.
09:19No, one thing is Barack Obama and everyone needs to understand this,
09:23he is the godfather of all of these ideas that they're now running on.
09:27He's the godfather of believing that men can birth babies.
09:30He's the godfather of critical race theory.
09:32He's the godfather of open borders at the end of his administration.
09:35He's the godfather of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
09:39So if they think this guy's going to walk in there and fix it,
09:43he created all of the radical left.
09:45He created the AOCs of the party and said they need a place at the table.
09:49He enabled it.
09:50So if he's the guy that's going to fix this, good luck.
09:53I love seeing Barack Obama right now.
09:55Keep him on stage and doing these weird commercials.
09:59Yeah, I think he's pretty ineffective and irrelevant at this point.
10:02But all right, real quickly, Matt, a recent Gallup poll found that less than 1%,
10:07it's hard to get to zero, but they did it.
10:09Democrats are satisfied with the current direction of the country.
10:13You know, a thriving economy, closed borders, and more safety, security.
10:17They're opposed to all of those things.
10:19Meanwhile, 76% of Republicans are in favor real quickly.
10:23What do you read into this?
10:24Well, I don't know.
10:25Gallup used to be great at these sort of polls,
10:28but everybody's gone to panels now.
10:30If it's 1%, really?
10:32Are you kidding me?
10:32That's why they have numbers for the president,
10:34his approval rating's so low when they're really much higher.
10:37He's at about 52 to 54%.
10:39But none of these guys want to say it.
10:43Ben, last word real quick.
10:45Yeah, look, the Democrats right now,
10:47they're going to lie, cheat, and steal to try to make you think Donald Trump's a failure.
10:50The American people, trust him.
10:52He's got the highest approval rating in the AP poll he's ever had right now
10:55in his entire presidency, first or second term.
10:58I think he's doing pretty good.
10:59He's delivering each and every day, and the people are backing him.
11:02Democrats, they got a problem because they're not Democrats.
11:04They're Marxist, Socialists, and Communists,
11:06and they're acting like they're still Democrats,
11:08and that's why no one believes them.
11:10Yep, well said.
11:11Well said.
11:12Matt and Ben, thank you so much.
11:14All right, we're learning shocking new details
11:17about the trans school shooter in Minneapolis,
11:20what police found at the home,
11:22and what the gunman's dad said happened shortly before the attack.
11:27Fox's Brooke Taylor has been digging into this story,
11:29and she joins us live from Minneapolis.
11:32Brooke.
11:32Hi, Jason.
11:35Well, we're now learning from police
11:37that they have spoken with the shooter's mother
11:40after initially saying that they couldn't get into touch with her
11:43and that she hasn't been cooperating.
11:45It's not clear exactly what that conversation entailed,
11:49but I have learned that she decided to hire a criminal defense attorney.
11:53I spoke to that criminal defense attorney.
11:56I asked why his client hired him.
11:58He told me, quote,
11:59she is completely distraught about the situation
12:01and has no culpability.
12:04Now, police have not said
12:05whether any family members potentially face charges.
12:09A new search warrant, meanwhile,
12:10reveals the shooter.
12:1123-year-old Robin Westman left a car at the scene,
12:15which was registered to his father.
12:17That father told officials
12:18the shooter was with a romantic partner.
12:21They were living together,
12:23recently broke up,
12:24so he moved out of that home and was living with a friend.
12:28Police searched Westman's father's house here in Minneapolis.
12:31They found a tactical vest,
12:33two computer drives,
12:35and documents, according to that warrant.
12:38Westman's father told police
12:39that his child once attended Annunciation Catholic School
12:43where this happened and the church,
12:45and that his ex-wife had also once worked here.
12:49The warrant states police found the shooter dead
12:51from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head,
12:54wearing black tactical gear
12:56and carrying at least two long guns.
12:59The two young children who died
13:01have been identified by family
13:03as eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel,
13:05whose father said the young boy loved his family,
13:08friends, fishing, and all sports,
13:11and 10-year-old Harper Moiske,
13:13whose family said, quote,
13:14her laughter, kindness, and spirit
13:16touched everyone who knew her.
13:19Hundreds of people in this community
13:20have been showing up
13:21to pay their respects to these families.
13:2418 others were injured,
13:26and tonight we're told
13:27that six are still in the hospital,
13:29five of them just young, innocent children.
13:33Jason.
13:35Brooke, thank you.
13:36Tough, difficult, tragic story.
13:38Appreciate it.
13:40All right, coming up,
13:41Mom Donnie wants to turn New York City
13:43into a double sanctuary city.
13:45Plus, why does Eric Adams
13:48want to hang out with the gangs?
13:50And I'm not talking about cool and the gang.
13:52The details coming up next.
14:03President Trump is making the left
14:05care about crime again,
14:07or at least pretend to.
14:09First, California Governor Gavin Newsom
14:11said he's surging crime teams statewide.
14:15Two messages today
14:16are kind of contradictory.
14:17On the one hand,
14:18you're mocking Trump's deployments
14:20and, you know,
14:21highlighting the crime rates
14:22in red states that you say are higher,
14:24and at the same time,
14:25we're here because you're surging
14:26law enforcement across the state.
14:28So do you believe that crime
14:30is a problem in California or not?
14:32Well, I...
14:34It's a sort of curious question.
14:37And I made the entire point
14:39that crime's an issue
14:40and we want to tackle it.
14:41And we continue to do more in that space.
14:47Governor, it was a great question.
14:49You just don't know how to answer it.
14:51And now New York City Mayor Eric Adams
14:53says he's sending out
14:541,000 new officers to crime hotspots.
14:57Well, what an innovative idea.
14:59And he's going to play mediator
15:01for rival gangs?
15:03This one I'm not so sure about.
15:05Shout out to the notable gang members,
15:07the shooters, the trigger pullers,
15:09and see if we can sit down
15:11around the table
15:12and talk about how do we end this violence.
15:14I'm going to see if I can convince
15:17some of the gang members
15:18to come and sit down.
15:20It could be at Gracie Mansion
15:21or it could be here.
15:23Here to discuss is Joe Borelli,
15:26former New York City councilman.
15:29All right, Joe.
15:30Look, gang members to Gracie Manson,
15:32why not just arrest him?
15:34Maybe put him in jail.
15:35If they've committed a crime,
15:36why not try that?
15:38Yeah, gang members are to be met
15:39with handcuffs, not tea and crumpets
15:41and cigars and scotch on the front porch.
15:44This isn't a labor union you're
15:46bringing in to negotiate with
15:47or a real estate developer.
15:48These are people who, for the most part,
15:51are committing crimes every single day
15:53and terrorizing the very neighborhoods.
15:54That said, I will give the mayor a little credit
15:56because my favorite kind of Democrats
15:59are Democrats who go out there
16:00and prove that Republican policies
16:02are actually what will make cities safer.
16:04The mayor wants to flood the Bronx
16:06with 1,000 NYPD officers.
16:08Not only is that the right move,
16:10but I think there's a majority of people
16:12up in the Bronx in neighborhoods
16:13plagued with gang violence
16:15who would appreciate seeing more men
16:17and women in blue on their streets.
16:19Yeah, the Bronx is having a particularly difficult time.
16:24Overall crime is higher than it was
16:27just a year ago.
16:28Rapes alone are up more than 30%.
16:31Felony assaults almost 4%.
16:34Grand larceny and auto rising 8%.
16:38I mean, the soft on crime,
16:41the prosecutors who won't prosecute.
16:43What are the other factors here?
16:45Why is crime surging in what was already
16:49a crime-ridden place, crime-ridden place?
16:51It's a number of things.
16:52It goes back to a significant policy changes
16:55made in 2018 and 2019
16:57by then-governor Cuomo and the state legislature,
16:59most notably bail reform.
17:01We've talked about that many times
17:03on this program and others.
17:04And there's raise the age,
17:05which basically allows young,
17:07juvenile gang members to go out
17:09and rob people, commit heinous crimes,
17:12and they never face any sort of justice.
17:14They get a slap on the wrist,
17:15and that's it.
17:16And guess what?
17:17They go on to lead crime-ridden lives
17:19the rest of it.
17:21Yeah.
17:23Watch this last clip here real quick
17:25and I want to get your reaction.
17:27Placing federal troops here in New York,
17:30I don't see the need for it at all.
17:32We are doing an amazing job.
17:34We have brought down crimes
17:35in all of our major crime categories.
17:37Our subway system,
17:38you're seeing it is the safest
17:41in the two years coming from COVID.
17:43You're seeing the safest in decades.
17:46We know what we need to do here,
17:47and we're going to continue to do that.
17:51We just showed that rape is up 30%
17:53and he's out there gaslighting
17:55and telling people that crime's down.
17:57Look, he's right and wrong.
17:59He's right because, you know,
18:01we do have the capacity with the NYPD
18:03to surge in certain neighborhoods,
18:04but he's wrong because we've already
18:06deployed the National Guard
18:07in our subway systems
18:09and he just referenced how well that worked.
18:12I wish Mayor Adams,
18:13I wish Governor Hochul,
18:14who was the OG of bringing in
18:16the National Guard to solve crime problems,
18:18I wish they would stand alongside
18:19President Trump and say,
18:21hey, you know what, POTUS?
18:22We may disagree on things,
18:23but bringing the National Guard
18:24in crime-ridden cities
18:25has actually worked here in New York
18:27and these other governors,
18:29Pritzker and Newsom,
18:30you should adopt it as well.
18:33Joe, thank you so much for joining us.
18:37We are fighting
18:38to keep this city a sanctuary city.
18:42We will continue to uphold that status
18:44and ensure that we do not allow
18:46ICE agents entry into New York City properties,
18:50be there schools, hospitals,
18:52or even the properties of New York City contractors
18:54unless they can provide a judicial warrant
18:56signed by a judge.
18:58It's not just for illegals.
19:01Socialist Zoran Mamdani wants the Big Apple
19:04to be a double sanctuary city,
19:07adding in LGBTQIA+.
19:11What exactly does that mean?
19:13Well, he wants $3 million of taxpayer money
19:15to put more LGBTQIA+,
19:19liaisons in schools across the city.
19:22He also wants to codify
19:24the transgender and gender expansive guidelines,
19:27which will force young women
19:29to be in the same locker rooms
19:31and bathrooms as biological males.
19:33And he wants $65 million
19:36for so-called gender-affirming care.
19:39And he's going to create
19:40the New York City office of,
19:42you guessed it,
19:43LGBTQIA+, affairs,
19:46which will help families escape anti-trans oppression.
19:51All in all,
19:52Mamdani wants $87 million
19:54to fund all of that and more.
19:58Here to discuss is Miranda Devine,
20:00Fox News contributor
20:01and New York Post columnist.
20:03All right.
20:04Of course,
20:05he's wanting nearly $100 million.
20:09How?
20:10I can't imagine this is going to be well spent, Miranda.
20:12Well, no.
20:15And look,
20:16he's on the wrong side of history.
20:18And he's exploiting a Tinderbox issue
20:22just for pure base political profit.
20:27And you've seen how the trans...
20:30Because this is what it really is.
20:31It's not about LGBT.
20:33It's not about...
20:34You know,
20:34New York is already very welcoming
20:36and he's a very gay city.
20:38It's about transing the kids.
20:41And that's why he's made it into a political issue.
20:44And we've seen how that's gone in Minnesota
20:48with Tim Walsh,
20:50Kamala Harris's former VP,
20:52who boasted about turning his state
20:56into a sanctuary city for transgender youth.
21:01And that has just been awful.
21:03Awful.
21:04And, I mean,
21:05we just have to look at the,
21:06you know,
21:07the disaster,
21:08the tragedy that happened this week.
21:10But it's just so unnecessary
21:14for him to go down this path
21:16when, you know,
21:17the rest of the Supreme Court,
21:19sports associations,
21:22the American people,
21:23have all woken up to the fact
21:25that it is very destructive and damaging
21:27to young people
21:29to, when they're in puberty
21:31and perhaps have mental health issues,
21:33to put them on a path
21:35inevitably leading to cross-sex hormones,
21:38puberty blockers,
21:40and eventually surgical mutilation.
21:45So, Miranda,
21:47Momdani has also spoke about his stance
21:50on decriminalizing misdemeanors.
21:53Have a watch of this.
21:55Are you for decriminalizing misdemeanors?
21:58All misdemeanors?
21:58Misdemeanors?
21:59No.
22:00You can't find that on my platform
22:01because it's not there.
22:04Miranda,
22:04crimes such as shoplifting and theft
22:07that are under $1,000
22:08are misdemeanors in New York City.
22:10I mean,
22:10do you believe that Momdani
22:12won't try to decriminalize that?
22:14That's,
22:15he's been out there.
22:17He says,
22:17oh,
22:17you can't find it.
22:18But, boy,
22:19he's come close
22:20to taking that position.
22:21Well,
22:24look,
22:24I just think
22:25that he is bringing policies
22:26that Tim Waltz
22:27and the Minneapolis mayor,
22:30Jacob Fry,
22:31brought to their state
22:33and their city.
22:34And New York,
22:35the last thing we need
22:37is more crime,
22:38more lawlessness,
22:39more disorder.
22:40And that is exactly
22:41what would happen
22:42if misdemeanors
22:44are done away with.
22:45And, I mean,
22:45that is the platform
22:46of his particular
22:48left-wing section
22:50of the Democratic Party.
22:53And it's just a recipe
22:54for disaster.
22:57Absolutely.
22:58Miranda Devine,
22:59thank you so much
23:00for joining us.
23:01All right,
23:02coming up,
23:02a school wanted girls
23:04to say they had
23:05a mental illness
23:07if they didn't want
23:08to share a bathroom
23:09with a boy.
23:11What?
23:12You've got to see this
23:13to believe it.
23:13It's coming up next.
23:20All right,
23:24what adults
23:24in their right minds
23:25thought that this
23:26was a good idea?
23:27A California school district
23:30proposed a plan
23:30requiring students
23:31to seek special
23:33accommodations
23:34if they don't want
23:36to share locker rooms
23:38or bathrooms
23:38with trans classmates.
23:41According to
23:41the Mercury News,
23:43the Temecula Valley
23:44Unified School District
23:45would accept
23:46a religious exemption
23:47or mental health exemption.
23:52Now, look,
23:53I'm a father.
23:54This is ridiculous.
23:55No little girl
23:56should have to say
23:57she has a mental health issue
23:58because she doesn't want
24:00to change
24:01in front of a boy.
24:03A lot of times
24:04at these school board meetings,
24:05parents are the ones
24:06standing up
24:07for the rights
24:07of their kids
24:08when stupid proposals
24:10like this one
24:11are brought up.
24:12But this week,
24:13two brave 8th graders
24:15spoke out.
24:16Good for them.
24:16Watch this.
24:18This year,
24:18we are both in a PE class
24:19with a biological male
24:20who is transitioning.
24:22We are young women
24:22and do not feel comfortable
24:23changing in front
24:24of a biological male.
24:29Everyone should feel comfortable
24:30and safe at school.
24:34We should not have to claim
24:34we are mentally unstable
24:35or extremely religious
24:37to be accommodated
24:38for this reason.
24:39Please rethink
24:40what you're doing.
24:43Good for them.
24:44I love that they did that.
24:45The board,
24:46they shouldn't have to,
24:47by the way,
24:48but the board ended up
24:49tabling the proposal,
24:50but this should enrage
24:52everybody,
24:53no matter what side of the aisle.
24:54Come on,
24:54we're talking about
24:55little kids here.
24:56Here to weigh in
24:57is Rachel Bovard
24:59from the Conservative
25:00Partnership Institute.
25:03All right,
25:03Rachel,
25:04I just want to make this clear.
25:06A school district
25:07was ready to implement
25:08a policy forcing young girls
25:09to claim a mental health issue
25:11for not wanting to change
25:14or use the same bathroom
25:15with the boy.
25:16And our kids,
25:17they should not have to
25:18give up their privacy
25:19or have to make this argument
25:20or claim mental health issues
25:22for the sake of the trans agenda.
25:25Please share with us
25:26your perspective.
25:29These school boards
25:30are adults in positions
25:32of protecting children.
25:34And yet what we see
25:35time and time again
25:35is the tyranny
25:37of a woke minority
25:38enforcing their agenda
25:40on the rest of America.
25:42It's exactly as you described.
25:43It flips the script, right?
25:45It says to normal girls
25:47who do not want to change
25:49in front of biological men,
25:50no, you are the problem.
25:52You have the pathology
25:53or you are religiously extreme.
25:56And we've seen this
25:57just after Governor Gavin Newsom
25:59demonizes people who pray.
26:00This goes on their public record,
26:02by the way.
26:03This is something that
26:04if they claim a mental health exemption
26:06or a religious exemption,
26:07this follows them.
26:08Colleges look and will see
26:09that they claimed
26:10a mental health exemption
26:11for nothing more
26:12than not wanting to change
26:14by a biological male.
26:15It pathologizes
26:16normal human behavior
26:17in a way
26:18that I think is dangerous.
26:20And, you know,
26:20at least the school board
26:21took the responsible position
26:22of setting this to the side.
26:24But you hope
26:24you never see this again.
26:28Rachel, good point.
26:29Many of the parents,
26:30they did speak out
26:31at the meeting
26:32and were outraged.
26:33Have a look.
26:34I'm a grown woman.
26:36I don't want to change
26:37in front of a biological man
26:39that I'm not with.
26:39So what's different
26:40with a young girl?
26:42Why would you put
26:43something like that?
26:44Why would you want
26:45to make a girl feel
26:47like there's something
26:48wrong with her
26:49for having her feelings?
26:52What, are biological girls
26:53not allowed to have feelings?
26:55Only transgender girls,
26:56boys, whatever?
26:58All right, Rachel,
26:59how did we get to this point?
27:01This is unbelievable to me.
27:05Again, it's, you know,
27:06it always starts with this.
27:08We just want to be accepting
27:09and we just want to live
27:10and let live.
27:10This is not that, okay?
27:12This is a very specific,
27:15I say, cultural Marxist belief
27:17that is being forced on everyone.
27:19You don't have a choice here.
27:21And again,
27:21the majority of people
27:22are going to feel the way
27:24those two eighth grade girls did.
27:25I don't want to have to change
27:26next to a biological male.
27:28And yet they are being pathologized.
27:30They are told, you know,
27:31that they are the ones
27:32in the wrong.
27:32And, you know,
27:33these are kids.
27:34That follows them.
27:36You know, when you stigmatize
27:37normal human behavior,
27:38that imprints on people,
27:39it changes them.
27:40And I really just,
27:41I think this is child abuse
27:43and mental health abuse
27:44in many cases.
27:45Well said, Rachel.
27:50All right.
27:51Coming up,
27:51screaming and singing.
27:53You're going to love this.
27:54One of my favorite parts
27:55of this show.
27:56The most unhinged libs of the week.
27:59We'll show you the video.
28:00Stay with us.
28:08So the left is getting
28:10even more deranged
28:11since President Trump took office.
28:13It's almost hard to keep up with it.
28:14But we're going to give it
28:16our best college try.
28:18Joining me now is Jason Rantz,
28:20Seattle Red talk show host,
28:23and Mike Davis,
28:23the Article 3 Project founder.
28:26Look, you're two of our favorites.
28:28I can't believe we're still talking
28:30about COVID and the COVID jab,
28:32but this is unbelievable.
28:34Just have a look.
28:36I remember when I got
28:37my first COVID vaccine,
28:38like it was the, you know,
28:41like it was the day I got married.
28:42I remember standing in a long line
28:44in the cold and I got this vaccine
28:46and I felt like crying.
28:48I was so grateful for having it.
28:51Jason, I am so embarrassed for this person.
28:54It's like comparing it to her marriage.
28:57COVID jab.
28:58People, yeah, I feel like crying
29:00when I hear people like that claim
29:01that what they did was somehow
29:03heroic and it was life-changing.
29:06It changed a lot of lives.
29:07Unfortunately, it changed it for the worse.
29:10And I think that there's, you know,
29:11years later, still no acceptance
29:14that what we were told about COVID
29:16and the vaccine was clearly
29:18inaccurate, clearly inaccurate.
29:20In some cases,
29:21they were just flat out lying to us.
29:22And God forbid,
29:23they actually step back and say,
29:24well, we're sorry we did that.
29:25No, instead,
29:26I remember fondly when I got the jab.
29:30Yes, like it was getting married.
29:33All right, Mike,
29:34I'm switching gears
29:36because there is nothing
29:37that gives me more pleasure
29:38than watching liberals singing.
29:41They tend to sing a lot
29:43and it's usually horrific.
29:45It's like a car,
29:45it's like watching a car wreck for me.
29:47Have a look at this.
29:49We're out in the streets,
29:51out in the streets,
29:53out in the streets,
29:55out in the streets,
29:57they're going to let no fascists
29:59take our democracy.
30:04Come on, Mike, sing along.
30:06Let's hear it from you.
30:07Come on.
30:09You don't want me to sing.
30:11It would destroy your audience.
30:12But I would say this,
30:13these Democrats seem like
30:14they are part of a cult,
30:16whether they are the COVIDians
30:18or the dancing and singing
30:20democracy crew.
30:21I want them to do this
30:23every day between now
30:24and the next election.
30:27All right, Jason,
30:28your thoughts on this?
30:29Did you join in on this fest?
30:33It wasn't even catchy.
30:35This was the best
30:36that they could do.
30:37They're clearly
30:37not doing anything all day.
30:39This is what they do
30:40for a living now.
30:41This is their hobby.
30:42These are all retirees
30:44who have nothing else
30:45to do but to organize.
30:46You couldn't come up
30:46with something
30:47a little bit catchy.
30:49You've got on the left
30:50a whole bunch
30:51of left-wing songwriters.
30:53Call one of them.
30:54Have them come up
30:55with some of the lyrics.
30:56I'm just saying,
30:59if you're 75 years old
31:00and you're putting on a cape
31:02other than on October 31st,
31:03you might want to just check
31:05in with somebody.
31:06I'm just saying.
31:08Look, the DNC,
31:10they're singing too.
31:11They have a new fight song.
31:13Now, unfortunately for me,
31:14they don't have the audio.
31:16So let me see if I can
31:17pull this one off.
31:18All right?
31:19D-E-M-S,
31:21We Rise,
31:22Stronger Together,
31:23Blue Sky.
31:24First of all,
31:25I can't sing.
31:25And there's no way
31:26I'm singing this.
31:27But this is their answer
31:29to how they're going
31:30to win elections
31:30is coming up
31:31with fight songs.
31:32You're right in time
31:33for college football.
31:35What do you think, Matt?
31:40I mean, look,
31:41President Trump
31:42is securing our border.
31:44He's expelling
31:45these dangerous terrorists.
31:47He's locking up criminals.
31:50I think the American people
31:51are behind him
31:52on these 90 to 10 issues.
31:55And the Democrats,
31:56their response is
31:57a bunch of washed up
31:58old liberal singing.
32:01It's just unbelievable.
32:02All right, Jason,
32:03I want to try to get
32:04to as many as possible.
32:05So I got to give you this one.
32:06Joy Reid just openly admitted
32:08she's a D-E-I hire.
32:11Watch this.
32:12As many times
32:13as I have been called
32:15D-E-I
32:17or an affirmative action baby
32:18and all that,
32:19you know what I never get?
32:21Matt.
32:22I don't take that
32:23as an insult.
32:23I'm just damn excellent
32:25and innovative.
32:25And yeah, I am D-E-I.
32:27Yeah, I got into Harvard
32:28with affirmative action
32:29and Yale and Brown.
32:32So what do you think, Jason?
32:35If she's damn innovative,
32:37she wouldn't have needed
32:38to be hired simply
32:40because of the color
32:41of her skin
32:41or her gender.
32:43Instead of embracing this,
32:44we should always
32:45be rejecting it.
32:46It is condescending
32:47to say,
32:48I'm hiring someone
32:49because of what they look like
32:51or what they believe.
32:52How about just say
32:53they're talented?
32:54Now, granted,
32:55when it comes to Joy Reid,
32:56you're not going to be able
32:57to make that argument.
32:58At least she's aware
33:00enough to understand
33:01why she had a career
33:02for as long as she did.
33:04It doesn't make it right.
33:04Maybe, maybe,
33:07but anyway.
33:08All right, I got to get
33:09to one more.
33:10So, Mike,
33:11it's not singing,
33:12but screeching.
33:13Have a look.
33:14This is not Germany.
33:16That's the SS
33:18and the Gestapo.
33:19This is the United States
33:21of America.
33:22Unmask yourselves.
33:25All right, Mike,
33:26bring us home with that one.
33:28Yeah, these Democrats
33:31have lost their minds
33:32when President Trump
33:33was bringing law
33:34and order to America
33:36and they're screaming
33:38and screeching like this.
33:39Again, these campaign ads
33:40are writing themselves.
33:44Yeah, this is the
33:45Democrat Party of today.
33:47Jason and Mike,
33:48thank you so much.
33:49All right, coming up,
33:50brawls in the Senate,
33:51brawls with a pop star
33:53and now a viral brawl
33:54over a scene
33:55from the United States Open.
33:58Raymond Arroyo
33:59has it all
33:59in Friday Follies
34:01coming up next.
34:11It's Friday.
34:12That means it's time
34:13for Friday Follies.
34:16For that,
34:17we turn to Fox News analyst
34:18Raymond Arroyo.
34:20All right, Raymond,
34:21there seems to be
34:22a pattern of brawls
34:23emerging this week.
34:24Yeah, you know, Jason,
34:25in the Mexican Senate,
34:26that the governing party
34:28clashed with the opposition
34:29over U.S. troupes
34:31coming there
34:32to fight cartel violence.
34:34And what better way
34:35to demonstrate
34:35your displeasure
34:36than with a little violence?
34:37Yeah, that guy on the left
34:54who's doing a lot
34:55of the shoving, Jason,
34:56he's the head
34:57of the governing party.
34:59He's in the head
35:00of the Senate.
35:01You can imagine
35:01if our Senate broke
35:02into something like this,
35:03it would, you know,
35:04pay-per-view event.
35:06But my question is,
35:07why are they pushing back
35:09so forcefully,
35:10literally,
35:11against the U.S.
35:12coming in
35:13to help them
35:13against these drug cartels?
35:16It does make you wonder.
35:19It does make you wonder.
35:21I'd like to see
35:21a John Thune,
35:22Chuck Schumer.
35:23That would be interesting.
35:24My money's on Thune
35:25on that one.
35:26You know,
35:26we could bring the UFC
35:27in to put them in a cage.
35:29It would be a blast.
35:30And look,
35:30at least we'd get
35:31something for our money.
35:32And speaking of brawls,
35:34Cardi B is in an L.A. courtroom,
35:36Jason,
35:37facing charges
35:37that she attacked
35:39a security guard
35:40at an obstetrician's office
35:42of all places.
35:43The Grammy winner
35:44denies the charge
35:45and not quietly.
35:47Are you disabled?
35:48Yes or no?
35:49At that moment,
35:50when you're pregnant,
35:51I'm very disabled.
35:53You want me to tell you
35:54things I can't do?
35:55Fine.
35:55You said she's bigger than you?
35:57Is that correct?
35:58Absolutely.
35:59How do you know that?
36:00I mean, look.
36:04Do you call her fat?
36:06No.
36:06I was calling her a b****.
36:08So sweet.
36:10I think you call
36:10that lacking finesse.
36:12Where's Bruno Mars
36:13when she needs him, Jason?
36:15I mean,
36:15this was something else.
36:17The prosecutor asked her
36:18several times,
36:19yesterday your hair
36:20was blonde and short,
36:21today it's long.
36:22She said,
36:23these are wigs.
36:25I mean,
36:26costume changes
36:27and barbed lines.
36:29I mean,
36:29you can't script
36:30something like this.
36:31It's been more
36:31entertaining
36:32than most shows
36:33on the air today.
36:36Cardi B in acting
36:37has actually been
36:38pretty good.
36:39So I'm not gonna,
36:40I'm not getting on her case.
36:41Yeah,
36:41that's always dangerous.
36:43But she's not the only
36:47mouthy star making news.
36:49Rosie O'Donnell has posted
36:51her reaction
36:51to the Minneapolis shooting.
36:53And this is a take
36:55exactly nobody asked for.
36:57I saw about the Minnesota shooting
37:00and this was a church
37:02inside a Catholic school.
37:04And what do you know,
37:06it was a white guy,
37:07Republican,
37:09MAGA person.
37:11What do you know?
37:12What do you know?
37:13Rosie better get back
37:14to the pub, Jason.
37:15In 17 seconds,
37:17she literally got nothing right.
37:19The church was not
37:20in the Catholic school,
37:22it's beside it.
37:23And the shooter scrawled,
37:25kill Donald Trump
37:26on one of his magazines.
37:27How MAGA can he be?
37:29It's amazing to me
37:30that Rosie and most
37:31of these commentators
37:32we've been hearing all week,
37:33they failed to focus
37:34on the glaring reality
37:36before everybody.
37:38This shooter targeted
37:39a Catholic institution,
37:41a church during mass.
37:43This is a hate crime.
37:44And God bless those grieving
37:46families and those
37:46in critical condition tonight.
37:48But you know,
37:49according to the Daily Wire,
37:50two years ago, Jason,
37:52Governor Tim Walz
37:53got a request
37:54from the Catholic
37:54and the independent
37:55schools there
37:56to help them protect
37:57their campuses
37:58from this kind of violence.
38:01He did nothing.
38:02All of this needs addressing
38:04the religious aspect
38:05and the failure
38:06for the state to step in
38:07and help these schools
38:08protect themselves
38:09and the people
38:10within these institutions.
38:13And then for them
38:14to attack and criticize
38:16people who are offering
38:17prayers and thoughts,
38:19the idea that prayer
38:20is such a bad thing.
38:21It was just absolutely
38:22disgusting.
38:24In the moment of need,
38:25it just, I was so disgusted
38:27by that.
38:27Yeah.
38:27Well, it belies
38:28the underlying ignorance
38:30and I think bigotry
38:31that we're still seeing
38:32all around us.
38:33I mean, one could say,
38:35thank God,
38:35only two people perish.
38:37When this guy was shooting
38:38through the window
38:39of a church during mass,
38:40a packed church of children
38:41and local mass goers,
38:44it's a wonder more weren't killed.
38:46Maybe that is the power
38:47of prayer in action
38:48and people should consider that.
38:49Before we run out of time,
38:51a piece of video
38:52is going viral
38:52from the U.S. Open.
38:54It shows a player,
38:55a Polish player,
38:56signing autographs
38:57and giving his hat
38:58to a child
38:59when it's snatched away
39:01by the adult male beside him.
39:04He quickly stashes the hat
39:06and the player felt so bad
39:07when this surfaced,
39:09he went on social media,
39:10he tracked down the kid
39:12and guess what?
39:13He got him a hat,
39:14which I am very pleased to record.
39:17You know, a nice story
39:18on a Friday for a change.
39:20Yeah, you know,
39:21when you see athletes,
39:22they go out of their way,
39:23they're tired,
39:24they win an event,
39:25they lose an event,
39:26but when they go out of their way
39:27and they try to help a kid
39:28and just make their day
39:29and put a smile on their face,
39:31I mean, I got a hockey puck
39:32from an L.A. Kings game
39:34and I still have it to this day
39:36and I remember the player
39:37chipping it up
39:38and me getting it.
39:39That was like 50 years ago
39:41and I still remember it.
39:43Don't want to take away
39:43those memories.
39:44Jason, I don't know
39:45why these adults, though,
39:46feel the need to encroach
39:47on that moment of joy
39:49you just described.
39:50I was just in Disney World.
39:51There are these adults
39:52dressed in oversized costumes,
39:55elbowing little children
39:56out of the way
39:57to take a picture
39:58with a guy in a Winnie the Pooh
39:59outfit, grow up,
40:00let children enjoy the moment,
40:03let them enjoy moments
40:04of childhood
40:05and this was such a sweet
40:06moment on the part
40:07of both the athlete
40:09as well as his child,
40:10you know, for the adult
40:11to go in there
40:12and get greedy.
40:13Shame on him.
40:14But I'm glad it was rectified
40:15and we have a happy ending.
40:17Well, I'm glad the kid,
40:18I'm glad the player
40:19gave that kid his memory back.
40:20Do appreciate it.
40:21Raymond Arroyo,
40:22you're the best.
40:23Well, that's it for tonight.
40:24I'm Jason Chaffetz,
40:25in for Laura Ingraham.

40:28my new book.
40:28They're coming for you.
40:29They're coming for you.
