00:00Anyone kicking us off?
00:04Sam?
00:06Just your initial thoughts on the result and the performance today?
00:11I think we started really strong in the game.
00:14We created, I think, three big chances,
00:16where at least we should have scored one goal.
00:19And I think the penalty came out of nowhere.
00:23It changed a little bit the dynamic of the game.
00:25City started the game better in the second half.
00:28We came back out of nowhere.
00:30Then afterwards I think we had two or three big chances
00:33to go in front in the game.
00:36Then afterwards City had their chances, their opportunities.
00:40So overall it was an up and a down.
00:42When we were only focusing on the performance,
00:44I think we are pleased how we performed,
00:47how we defended, how we created the chances.
00:50We are not pleased how we give away the chances.
00:53I think we did too many easy mistakes,
00:56where we invited them to score goals.
00:59And that's something that we have to improve.
01:01Obviously there was a bit of tension
01:03and heated discussions on the touchline.
01:05Can you tell us what happened with Pep at the end there?
01:08No, I think when it's like a tight game it's always emotional
01:14and everyone shared their opinion.
01:17And then I think that's football.
01:20So I have a huge respect for everyone from City and everyone from the staff.
01:25And I think emotions are part of a football game
01:28and therefore everything is fine.
01:30Toma showed some of his teammates how to finish.
01:36How important is he going to be from here on in if you can keep him fit?
01:41I think we all know that he can make the difference in the game,
01:45that he can be a game-changer.
01:47For us, he's still not at 100 per cent,
01:49but we need to push him to 100 per cent.
01:51We need to get him involved more and more into our game.
01:55We need to give him time,
01:57but I think in the second half he showed that he gets back on track
02:04and he tries to get back on track as quick as possible.
02:07But we have to be patient with him
02:10and then we all know what impact he can have on our game.
02:16Did you think it was a penalty that you could see
02:19because there was contact between the players
02:22and the assistants that did seem to jump after the contest?
02:27I didn't see it yet, so I need to have a look at it.
02:31Overall, if the VR decides to interrupt the game,
02:37then they might have seen a clear foul,
02:39but if you say it's not a clear foul, then I trust you.
02:42I trust you.
02:49Can I just speak about Verdi?
02:52It's worth the goal what he's doing every game now, isn't it?
02:54His anticipation,
02:55is that something you've been working on,
02:57on those goal line clearances?
02:59No, we're not working on that
03:02and we don't want to work on that
03:04because I think then something bad happens before,
03:06but yeah, like I just mentioned,
03:09we did in the face too many individual errors
03:12where we tried to play out from the back.
03:14I think it was the right intention,
03:15it was also the right thing,
03:16just the execution wasn't good enough
03:18and there we definitely have to analyse it
03:20and make it better the next time.
03:22And JP and his battle with Harland,
03:25what did you make of that?
03:27I love it.
03:28I think it's part of a football game as well
03:31and therefore it's always a tight battle between these two
03:38and I think they're both good players,
03:40so they battle on the pitch
03:42and then afterwards they give a handshake
03:45and then we go on.
