00:00Let's move on to Tony Pollard, another guy I've had my eye on this week.
00:0366 rushing yards will net him a quarter of a million dollars,
00:07and two rushing touchdowns will get him $200,000.
00:11So he's sitting on the precipice of nearly a half a million dollar day.
00:14What goes on here?
00:16Well, what goes on is this trend line that we've seen.
00:19So since week 14, it's like somebody woke up and realized,
00:21oh, wow, I got some incentives in my contract here.
00:23I need to get the football more, right?
00:26161 rushing yards in week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.
00:28104 week 15 against San Francisco 49ers.
00:31102 against Kansas City.
00:33And then against New Orleans, 85.
00:35All right.
00:35So this week, yeah, Jacksonville is a good defense.
00:38We know this.
00:39But do we really think that Tony Pollard is not going to work
00:41and do everything he possibly can to get a 66 yards here
00:44so he can get over this hump?
00:45I mean, I think he's going to.
00:47To me, this is the best one on the board, $250,000.
00:49A lot of money here just for that.
00:51The two rushing touchdowns, I think, will be much tougher
00:53unless Jacksonville just completely pulls everybody and just says,
00:56no, you know what?
00:56We're just not into this game here at a certain point.
00:58But I think that is a tougher sell for me.
01:01But you're right.
01:01Half a million dollars at stake on a Sunday.
01:04I don't know about you, but I would be motivated,
01:06especially as a running back on Tony Pollard,
01:07who, you know, running backs don't last in the league as long.
01:10You got to get your money every single chance you can.
01:12And this is a big spot here.
01:14250K is a big one.
01:15So I'm going to look for Tony Pollard with this over here
01:17in this rushing total for sure.
01:19And believe me, I'll tell you from experience,
01:21each and every one of these guys are aware of their contracts.
01:24If they're not, then these are the guys
01:26that are making way too much money.
01:27And Tony Pollard isn't there yet.
01:28So believe me, he is aware.
01:30Another guy that I believe is aware is Hunter Henry
01:32at the tight end position for New England.
01:34Five catches will net Hunter Henry a quarter of a million dollars.
01:38What do you say, Joe?
01:40Look, a quarter of a million dollars, a lot of money.
01:42Five receptions is a small number.
01:43I think Drake May is going to try to funnel this in here.
01:45And you've still got some injuries in that wide receiver group too,
01:48where Hunter Henry should work in this game.
01:50It's a good matchup against the Miami Dolphins as well.
01:52So this is another one too, the strong over.
01:55And usually, you know, I like to bet the yards
01:57more than the receptions on a player
01:58because you give yourself more outs.
02:00That one big play can get you that number.
02:02But I think Drake May will be aware of this.
02:05I'm sure Hunter Henry will be aware of this.
02:07Five catches for 250.
02:09That sounds like a pretty good lock to me.
02:11I think, again, Hunter Henry tries to get this one.
02:13And you're going to see a lot of him getting some targets
02:15in this game as well.
02:17Idea for a story.
02:18High-profile player is X amount of something
02:21away from an incentive.
02:22But the coach is carrying water for ownership.
02:25What happens?
02:27All right, Joe, you're going to write it.
02:28All right, here we go.
02:29Debo Samuel, wide receiver for Washington.
02:3110 receptions will get Debo $200,000.
02:3583 receiving yards will get him another $200,000.
02:38How does Debo Samuel make $400,000 today?
02:43I don't think he does.
02:44I just don't see this happening on either side.
02:47So I want to throw it out there
02:48because it is some big money here potentially.
02:50The 10 reception seems impossible to me.
02:52But the 83 receiving yards, not impossible.
02:55So we'll see how that goes.
02:57But again, we're playing with third string quarterbacks
02:58here in week 18.
02:59Like this is just where we are.
03:01So I think this one is probably the most unlikely
03:03of all of them to happen.
03:04But I think the Tony Pollard one and the yardage
03:06is the most likely, followed closely by Hunter Henry.
03:09So if you're looking to carry cherry pick a couple of these
03:12and just go right in for them,
03:13I think the Henry one and the Pollard one are good.
03:16Shakira is a little bit of a push there,
03:19a little bit of a stretch, but not unattainable as well.
03:22So these are important things.
03:24And these players are not just playing for the team.
03:27They're playing for themselves.
03:28They're playing for cash.
03:29So keep that in mind when you're trying to look ahead
03:31to week 18 and what's going on here.
