00:00Anthony Richardson was a rookie last season. We're gonna talk about the

00:07rookies this season, but he was a rookie last year that we thought this year was

00:11gonna have a huge breakout because of how good he looked for like 10 minutes.

00:14And that really has not been the case this season, George. Three touchdowns, six

00:20interceptions, 117 rushing yards. You know, last year I sat here on this show

00:28saying that I was wrong about Anthony Richardson, and that I watched him at

00:32the University of Florida for almost two years, and that I thought that he was not

00:38going to be great as a pro. And after I saw what I saw, I'm like, well maybe the

00:43coach of Florida isn't good, and that sort of seems to be maybe the case too.

00:47But what's going on here, man? Like Richardson, maybe it's just like

00:53growing pains from what really is a rookie. Would you still buy on

00:57Richardson right now, given the nature of quarterbacking right now in

01:01the NFL or USL? I said on this show and several others during training

01:08camp, preseason, you know, when you watch Richardson, that if he was a pure rookie,

01:12you know, if he was drafted this year, you would not even, you wouldn't want to

01:16come close to starting this guy, unless you're in a Keeper League, you know,

01:19Dynasty League, fine, you draft him, just go with what you got there, you

01:22rebuild it. The only reason why he was given a major benefit of the

01:26doubt was because we saw him play last year and he was good, right before he

01:29got hurt. He looks terrible. I mean, not only does he look terrible, but he's killing.

01:33I have Pittman in two leagues, I'm not starting him. He's made Pittman

01:37invisible. Pittman was never a big touchdown guy in any way, he was a volume

01:40guy, now he's not getting the volume, I can't start him. So he's bringing

01:43everybody down with him. Maybe now that Josh Downs is back, things open up a

01:47little bit here, but I don't know. If he can't get these guys the football,

01:50because he's not accurate, I don't know how that changes anything. Am I ready to

01:54give up on him? In a one quarterback league, there should be another

01:57quarterback out there you can start. Alright, so I'm not starting him, I'll

02:00tell you that, because I'd rather have a Geno Smith that might be on your

02:03waiver wire, maybe a Kirk Cousins that could be on your waiver wire. Much

02:06rather have guys like that start right now than Anthony Richardson. I need to

02:09see something. I just need to see something. And let's not forget, this

02:12week, they're playing the Steelers. The Steelers are playing right out on

02:17defense. I can't, right now, Craig, I cannot start Anthony Richardson. Yeah, no,

02:23look, two quarterback league, you kind of have to, I think. But beyond that,

02:27just hasn't looked great. And again, the rushing yards are sort of there. You

02:33still see glimpses of what you think is going to be good. Would I want him over

02:36Watson? Of course. But right now, not the best look, and maybe just needs

02:42more time in the NFL.
