00:00We just had a pretty basic day really. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be so it was pretty easy so it was hard to make up a lot of time and yeah I just made these two probably tricky notes and I made you know cost a couple minutes here but other than that was feeling alright. I'm happy to only lose like two minutes because I feel really bad today so and yeah it was I'm looking forward to more harder terrain and today was more basic and full gas everywhere and just so tricky.
00:30Yeah so tomorrow hopefully get in the rhythm and the flow a little bit more and it's really windy and sandstorm today so it was hard to see the terrain and to keep focused with the wind pushing the helmet everywhere so yeah we try to make some adjustments for tomorrow it looks like some more stony stuff but I feel I feel good I didn't feel like I used much energy today it was taking it easy and yeah hopefully yeah we can push tomorrow and see how we go.
00:56First day looks quite balanced between the two and even the three main brands so it seems that we are going to have a nice Dakar.
01:04Yeah yeah yeah like it would look like this today but this stage was similar to 23 and I think the top seven were within two minutes gap so it was today was tight timing and you could tell because no one was catching anyone super basic navigation and super easy terrain so it was hard to make time up and I knew this from the beginning and going back and doing the study in this area we knew this was the same stage one in 23 and I
01:34I won this stage back then but had a speed penalty but yeah it's good to have the confidence and to know where we are and yeah I'm excited to get into some harder terrain.
