Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Oven (OO101) showing a flame icon?
Here’s the difference between flashing and solid flame states, and what they mean for pellet ignition in the smoke box.
Transcript
00:00Seeing a flame icon on your Ninja Woodfire oven display?
00:04Here's what it means.
00:05A flashing flame shows the smoke box ignition cycle.
00:09The heating element is working to ignite the pellets you've loaded into the smoke box.
00:13You'll usually see this at startup or right after adding fresh pellets.
00:17A solid flame means the pellets are burning steadily inside the smoke box.
00:21That's your signal the woodfire flavor is active and smoke is flowing into the oven.
00:25If you ever notice weak ignition or no smoke while the flame icon is on, the most common culprit is damp pellets.
00:33Store them in a sealed, weatherproof container to keep them dry and ready to burn.
00:37I've linked the one I use below.
00:39It's airtight, keeps moisture out, and makes sure your pellets always ignite cleanly.
