00:36Which is why she got dispelled shipped.
00:39When Mama passed away, all the monsters came out.
00:42That's where Mary got in his house and they're doing God knows what.
00:46And then Robert started bringing God into it.
00:49God was telling him to marry my sister.
00:52My mom wasn't having it.
00:55It was out of control.
00:58It was every man for himself.

01:07when the faith temple congregation found out that Mary and Robert were going to get married,
01:10it caused a huge and bad making for the church.

02:19Mary Cosby says that her family was so jealous because she was the chosen one.
02:25My mom felt like she was the one that should have been Mary Robertson here.
02:32I don't believe it.
02:34So today I'm excited to be joined by Mary's mother, Rosalind Cazares, and her stepfather,
02:38Mark Cazares, to hear their side of the story.
02:42I come to find out Mary Cosby's mother watches Up and Atom on YouTube.
02:47So I reached out to have a conversation.
02:50On the show, Mary says that Mama chose Mary as the chosen one to take over the church and
02:56marry Robert Cosby Sr.
02:58That's not true.

03:01But Mary believed that because she was manipulated by Robert.
03:03Rosalind Cazares and Mark feel like Robert Cosby was a much older man who had a very heavy influence.
03:10Mary was the young, beautiful, 20-something that got caught up.
03:15She's a victim.
03:16And all the lies that he told were to maintain the structure of the church and the finances.
03:22I think that they felt like Robert Cosby was able to persuade Mary into a new life.
03:28By the way, here's a couple hundred thousand dollars, and it's your birthday.
03:32Here's a brand new BMW to go with it.
03:34A much wealthier life.
03:36When my grandmother passed, people didn't know what to do.
03:44She was the head of our church.
03:47We believe in a true living God.
03:50So I just got up, and I thought there was something pulling me that this is what you're
03:56supposed to do, whether people like it, whether they accept it, whether your mom is okay with
04:00it.
04:01I knew I had to do it.
04:03But after Mama's death, when Mary steps in, there's a clear shift that happened.
04:09Things turned up a notch.
04:11They started using their position in the church to chastise members, lecturing them
04:16from the pulpit in front of the whole congregation.
04:19Thank God he'll judge all that for you.
04:22Isolation became more frequent.
04:24You can't talk to other members who left with Rosalind.
04:28Everything just becomes a little bit more intense, according to members.
04:32That's when Faith Temple starts looking like a cult.
04:39Faith Temple, it just started becoming very strange.
04:46They put a camera right in the middle of the church so they could sit and watch everything
04:55that was going on.
04:58There were times when Robert and Mary were out of town in either her residence in New York
05:03or her residence in Florida.
05:05So Mary had cameras set up.
05:07Mary would watch the people in the service.
05:12She would send a messenger down, and they're giving people messages that she doesn't like
05:17what she feels, what's wrong with you, stop thinking you're cute, you're not cute.
05:23And people would get phone calls based on what she witnessed over that surveillance.
05:29Mama has done it in the past, and that's going to try to be their little justification.
05:36Mama watched the service to see who preached and how well they did and get encouraged off of it.
05:41Oh, they get beautiful. That's what that, it wasn't to keep an eye out on people.
05:54If you wanted to confess at Faith Temple, you could write a letter.
05:58With Mama, she may address it with you at a later time, and she may not.
06:06With Robert and Mary, they would deal with confessions a lot of times by public humiliation.
06:14The confession itself would be brought out in front of the entire church.
06:21The tone in their voice would be anger, and it would be like getting after your child.
06:28They did something really rotten, and you're just setting them straight.
06:32I remember this one girl that I love dearly, she had relations with somebody else in the church.
06:38And Mary came to me and blurted it out that this girl had been doing this.
06:43Just the deepest, darkest things that you would tell somebody, they're in turn telling people what's being told to them.
06:50The members became very, very separate, because after they heard something that you had confessed, they might completely avoid you.
06:58They may not even say hi to you.
07:00Pretty soon, you got to the point where there was very few people that you socialized with, that you talked to, that you trusted.
07:09I've seen surveillance and public confession used by a number of different cults.
07:20Surveillance is used in mind control groups as a device to gather information about what members are talking about in order to identify potential problem people.
07:32Public confessions are used to not only use personal information that people are ashamed of, but to shame them publicly to the group in order to break their egos down.
07:47It's a message of fear as well as control to all the other members, because you better stay in line, otherwise it could happen to you next.
07:58My own cousin, my first cousin, his best friend is f***ing terrified.
08:04Wait, what?
08:05People are saying that she's a f***ing cult leader, that she has them on food stamps.
08:10While looking into allegations that surfaced on the show, I spoke to Faith Temple members who laid out a series of accusations that depicted a form of financial abuse.
08:20Some congregation members were expected to work for free for Mary and Robert to be at the house, to be their maids, to do chores for them.
08:29They were expected to donate their time and their lives to the church and to Mary and Robert.
08:34In early 2000, before Mikel passed, I lived with Robert and Mary and worked in their home.
08:44Working for Robert and Mary started because I started to accept Mary's position as Robert's wife and now first lady of the church.
08:55So in between jobs, I would, you know, try to help them.
09:00My full-time responsibilities were housekeeping and running errands, kind of like a personal assistant.
09:07In the five years that I worked for Robert and Mary, I was never paid.
09:14I was collecting unemployment at one stage and I guess that was what they thought I would live on.
09:20But no, I wasn't paid.
09:23That was more like a slave plantation.
09:27Mary and Robert did very little for themselves.
09:37They had people cleaning.
09:38They had people doing, you know, bills.
09:40They had people doing grocery shopping.
09:42But it's much different than what appears in the show.

09:54Wherever you're at.
09:55My sister, Pat, worked at the house for many, many years.
10:05We're getting Pat dancing here.
10:06We're going to get a close-up of her.
10:08Pat and I became friends when we worked in Robert and Mary's home.
10:15I recall times Robert and Mary talked to Pat so badly.
10:20Things like, you're a slave, you're going to work here until you die.
10:25Because if you don't, you're going to die anyway.
10:28And you're going to hell.
10:31Pat would take insults.
10:34Pat was called a liar and a thief.
10:37But this almost 80-year-old woman still believed what Robert and Mary had embedded in her.
10:50I remember Pat told me one time something, she wouldn't go into any detail, but she was crying profusely.
10:57And I said, Pat, what happened?
10:59She said, today was so bad.
11:00She said, just so bad.
11:02And I said, bad how?
11:04She said, I just wish I could go to sleep and not wake up.
11:09Till she didn't.
11:10In mind control cults, for the member to be asked to do free labor by the leader who claims to be God,
11:27or claims to be God's representative on earth,
11:32it's viewed as an honor that you're special.
11:36And like giving over your money, this is another form of getting people to sacrifice and invest themselves further.
11:46And if you don't do what you're told to do, you're often punished.
11:53My brother, Don, gave very heavily to the church.
11:58The push for money never stopped.
12:02My brother, Don, they were after his money with a vengeance.
12:12It aggravated me.
12:14It aggravated me a lot.
12:16I love fashion.
12:17Also, you have to understand that the Housewives of Salt Lake City was airing at this time.
12:23I'm running out of spaces.
12:24I'm actually going to, I'm going to buy a place just to put my clothes, like an apartment.
12:28Can you believe that?
12:29So I was watching that and going, what?
12:31You know?
12:32So at that point, you had no idea the wealth that Robert and Mary had.
12:37I had no idea.
12:38So I told my brother, listen, I don't want you to keep giving large amounts like this.
12:44Pretty soon your money will be gone.
12:45He was a bus driver.
12:46How much money did he have?
12:48And then all of a sudden, Mary called me up and kicked me out of the church.
13:00I felt like a person without a country.
13:03That's how bad it is.
13:04You know, you feel like God has rejected you.
13:08And then when my sister Pat died, I was informed that I was not allowed to come to her funeral services.
13:18I think it was one last assault that they could put on me.
13:23It was one last assault.
13:27Robert and Mary absolutely drive wedges between family members, friends.
13:35Not to be able to go to their funeral is criminal.
13:43You're not even allowed to show your last respect for this person you've known your whole life.
13:50My own sister.
13:52I mean, look how old I am.
13:54And I can't show my family respect when they pass away.
13:59It's unbelievable, the pain.
14:02Unbelievable.
14:05In mind control groups, the goal is always to create dependent, obedient followers.
14:17And so the leadership does not want allegiance horizontally to family members, friends, at all.
14:27They want that allegiance to be vertical to them.
14:30There's a tremendous amount of interpersonal manipulation and control.
14:36So if there's a family, for example, and one person's questioning and not wanting to just blindly obey,
14:45they will often segregate that person, punish them, and threaten the other people to get that person in line or else.
14:55It breaks down the normal relations, emotional ties of a family.
15:02In Fay Temple under Robert and Mary, you destroy your family to put Robert and Mary first.
15:12I was extremely close to Mary for a good 10 years.
15:18Very early on, Robert and Mary invited me on a trip with them to California.
15:29When we were at the hotel, the three of us were out on this balcony just looking at the ocean.
15:36At one point, Mary went in the room and I talked to Robert.
15:41Really, we were actually even talking about God's creation and just how beautiful it was.
15:46That was that, and I didn't think anything of it.
15:51After the whole trip was over and we got back in town, Robert and Mary called me.
15:57And she brings up when we were on the balcony, she said it was like she wasn't even there.
16:02And it was like, I wanted her life.
16:04That means I want her husband too, because I want all of it.
16:07And I was just, I was shocked.
16:10Robert was my husband's grandfather.
16:12That's the way I looked at him.
16:14But I did love him as my bishop.
16:16And he said that that's what happens sometimes, is people get their love confused.
16:21You just have to work on it.
16:24I know that under the LDS Church, if a member is having an issue, they'll meet with their bishop.
16:30But the way Robert and Mary did it was different.
16:35Robert would call and say, you need to come up the house.
16:39That's when my real counseling sessions began.
16:43They would refer to jealousy, envy, and lust as Satan's trade.
16:49And so you had to work on yourself to get rid of those.
16:52Robert would say, do you love me or are you in love with me?
16:56And so I'd say, of course I love you.
16:58You're my bishop.
16:59But no, I'm not in love with you.
17:02Robert said, you're getting your love confused because you're in love with me.
17:09I trusted Robert.
17:11And so I was asking God, I said, you know, Lord, help me see if I'm doing something that I don't realize.
17:17Mind control cults use gaslighting to disorient people from having confidence in their perceptions, in their beliefs, in their experiences.
17:31So, for example, a cult leader can say something one minute and an hour later say, I never said that confidently.
17:39And for the person who thinks that's a person of God, he couldn't lie.
17:46So there must be something wrong with me.
17:48The problem is always with the member, never with the leader.
17:52Who do you have enough question come?
17:58There was plenty of times where I was close to leaving.
18:02And the next thing you know, there was a lot of, you know, dropping of love bombs.
18:07It was as if they could tell.
18:10They needed to, like, show me love again and give me hope spiritually and all of that.
18:16And I kept making excuses for them.
18:19But then things with Robert got more frequent and more intense.
18:28I'm getting phone calls and text messages to come up to the house.
18:32And it just got to where it was almost every day.
18:35I mean, there was fear, literal fear.
18:38Mary and Robert would text me regularly at work.
18:46And if you don't answer right when they call or respond to a text within minutes, then you're going to get a flow of text messages.
18:53Roberts would say stuff like, oh, now you're ignoring me.
18:56Or I know you're not in a meeting.
18:58You better call me back, young lady.
19:01And Mary's would just rant how horrible I am and how I'm the worst friend ever.
19:07And just all kinds of things.
19:09I'm better than you.
19:10If you have something to say, it's better.
19:12You say it to my face.
19:13The way Mary treats people on Even Housewives.
19:16I don't need all the fake injections in my face to make my face look like whatever.
19:21And I don't need tummy tucks and face lifts and eyebrow lifts and breast implants.
19:25When Mary was sending those text messages to Whitney, she has no idea.
19:28Everything is fake.
19:30I've never had plastic surgery.
19:31Never.
19:32I don't need it like you do.
19:33Like, she got a tip of what Mary's capable of.
19:36When it comes to that stuff.
19:37I have donated to her church.
19:39Why are you going out of your way to hurt me?
19:42The depth of low that she'll go as far as really wanting to hurt somebody.
19:46They have no idea what she's capable of.
19:51If I saw their name on the phone, I would get full blown physical anxiety.
19:56When I look back and I can rewind it as a story, it's like the way it just evolved more and
20:02more and more and more.
20:04It was like torture.
20:07Once smartphones and social media got established, the entire manipulation of the mind went to
20:16a whole nother level.
20:18With texting, groups can mind control people throughout the day.
20:23So, smartphones are the ultimate mind control devices.
20:28And that's why we shouldn't be dependent and obedient to this device.
20:33The people on the other side of the device using it to influence our minds.
20:38Kim would be up there at the house seven days a week.
20:45I always wanted to go up to the house, but they never included me with them.
20:50And I felt that they were just kind of pulling her away.
20:53My marriage was not bad to where I did not want to be home.
20:57They turned it into, if I went home, I was putting Danny above God.
21:03And that me going up to the house was what God wanted.
21:08And then later, they started involving my daughters.
21:11And my daughters start now going up to their house.
21:15It felt like a total separation.
21:18Like, Danny's over there.
21:20And now, Kim and the girls are over here.
21:23And if I said something against what they were doing, then I'm the off one.
21:32Or I'm the one that's the devil.
21:34What are you doing?
21:36Nothing.
21:38As far as my life and our life is when the turmoil started.
21:43Where my daughters didn't really know me.
21:48And I lost track of our marriage.
21:51It became hell.
21:55The whole situation put a huge strain on my marriage.
21:58They could have had us both around.
22:00That would have been fine.
22:02But very seldom was there a couple at their house.
22:05It was always one or the other.
22:06Because it was always about division.
22:08So now, every time Robert and I talked, we would argue.
22:13We would fuss.
22:14And Kim then would look at me like, I'm crazy.
22:17Like, how dare I talk to this bishop like this?
22:20I'm in the zone right now.
22:22Are you higher?
22:24One Sunday, I decided to stop at the church.
22:28When service was over, Robert asked for people to go get prayer.
22:33So I went down and he came and he put his hand on my head and shoved me with his hand.
22:43I remember falling back about three steps.
22:46And I looked at him real odd.
22:48And I'm like, really?
22:52Later on, Mary sends me a text message that said, the whole church witnessed God leaving you.
22:59And it was that day that Mary believed that there was no way for me to ever get back in the church.
23:06When that happened, I knew I was done.
23:09I never went back to the church.
23:12And that was right when Housewives came out.
23:15If you come for me, I will send Jesus after you.
23:20When I spoke with former Faith Temple members, they described how Mary and Robert use this idea of heaven and hell to control people.
23:39The Christian belief is that to go to heaven, you have to accept Jesus Christ as your savior.
23:44And the only way to heaven is through the gospel, through Jesus.
23:48Robert and Mary then began to use Mary as this conduit to salvation.
23:58It was drilled into congregation members that you need to accept Mary as a spokesperson for God.
24:05And the only way to heaven is through the preachings of Mary.
24:09And so they needed to also please Mary and Robert.
24:13Otherwise, you're going to be condemned to hell.
24:16There's a love.
24:18Where are you? Y'all love me?
24:22Mary was doing this whole Real Housewives thing.
24:28And I think she seen the writing on the wall of those who would go for it and those who wouldn't.
24:35And I would be in the category of somebody who would not be okay with that.
24:39So they just start doing things to drive me out of the church.
24:44The instance that really started a downward spiral for me is that my knees are bad.
24:52And my knees have been bad since I was eight.
24:54I was born with a deformity where they pop out of socket.
24:57My gramps was up there teaching Bible class and the power of God hit and then I started reacting.
25:07The next thing I know, I was in the aisle with no legs working.
25:12I looked up in the pulpit at them and they were laughing at me.
25:16I was just shocked at the level of manipulation that they had going on.
25:21They condone Satanism.
25:23Things just started getting worse and worse.
25:25Why are you telling you all that? You know you ain't.
25:29She's my pastor and my sister.
25:32I felt like this is torture, but this is what it's going to take for me to get into heaven.
25:38So it was just a vicious cycle of humiliation.
25:42Eventually, I just started having the mental breakdown.
25:51It became very hard to sit under Gramps and Mary.
26:00I'm doing all I can do to be saved, but it's not good enough for them.
26:05So just the manipulation of that, it was the beginning of the decline for me.
26:11I just felt like literally the devil was in the room just laughing at me.
26:15Saying everything that you've done, it was for naught.
26:18You've just wasted your time.
26:20I mean, the devil straight told me to commit suicide.
26:26And then next thing you know, I heard the Lord say, look up, your redemption draweth nigh.
26:32In other words, I could see the light.
26:34And I heard something speak to me and say, it's a cult.
26:40And so I've left the church.
26:43Being able to snap out of what I was in and walk out of there intact is just, you know, amazing to me.
26:49Because people don't get out.
26:50The whole notion of heaven and hell is something that's been around for a long time in Christianity and other world religions.
27:03But in mind control cults, it really is very intensified that only in this group can you go to heaven.
27:13Unlike legitimate churches, the members are trained to believe their leader is the gateway to God.
27:21And those that follow are going with me to live with Jesus.
27:31There's an enormous amount of rejection that people give to that person.
27:36And they're trained to be blindly obedient and dependent on that person.
27:41If you don't do exactly what they tell you, you're disobeying God and you risk your salvation.
27:48You're going to be damned for eternity.
27:54The people that were watching Real Housewives were like, we love Mary because she's funny.
28:00She's cute.
28:01She's quirky.
28:02Then when Robert Cosby came on the show, he was very angry.
28:08That's when it got real for the audience.
28:12Were you hesitant when Mary said that she wanted to join the show?
28:16Very nice.
28:17You was?
28:18No, you wasn't.
28:19For me?
28:20No, you was not.
28:21Yes, for me.
28:22No, you was not.
28:23I knew everything that's happening right now was going to happen.
28:28On other Real Housewives franchises, all the husbands would be present.
28:33And Robert Cosby kind of pulled back.
28:35What's really going on?
28:38One day, Robert called, and now Danny's literally right next to me.
28:53I mean, he can hear the phone call.
28:55I was listening to this conversation, wondering what the world is going on.
29:01He was saying the weirdest things I've ever heard from a pastor and from somebody who's
29:10supposed to be my granddad.
29:12He's saying to Kim, if I fly you to Las Vegas, would you come?
29:19I'm like, what?
29:20Tell me you love me.
29:21He's kept saying, tell me you love me.
29:24And Kim said, no, sir.
29:28So he got really mad and said, you call me back when you can talk.
29:32I hung up the phone and I said to Danny, something is wrong with him.
29:39It was like a relief that I actually said it out loud that I knew this is not normal.
29:44Looking back on it, I just see how it was just a game.
29:47Because then if I would have said yes, I mean, who knows?
29:51I learned later that I wasn't the only person that he was doing this to.
29:56I spoke with another person that was under them and she showed me text messages.
30:04It was like all of a sudden a chain was ripped off me and it literally freed me.
30:10This is just who he is. It has nothing to do with me.
30:14And so I left Faith Temple completely.
30:22So today we're going to do part four of Unmasking Mary's Cult.
30:27Let's talk about Robert alleged coming on to other women in the church.
30:34Some of the ex-cult members contacted me and shared their experience.
30:38what went on at Faith Temple, talking about Robert coming on to them.
30:47And these people were crying.
30:50Some didn't feel strong enough to talk.
30:53I would talk to victims that would cry on my shoulder and tell me their stories,
30:59what happened to them, but they didn't want to come forward.
31:04You go to the leader of the church because you're going through a hard time.
31:07So you're very vulnerable.
31:11But then you get hit on.
31:13It took a toll on the victims till this day.
31:17Well, my message is that if it's out publicly, you could prevent this from happening to someone else.
31:24You can do a lot of stuff in the dark.
31:25But when people start to realize what's going on, it's not so easy.
31:34The world is watching you now.
31:35When I think about cult leaders, they all want power, money and sex.
31:42Sex is not about love with a cult leader. It's about power.
31:47They want complete control over a person. And there's no accountability. If they do something wrong, they never admit that they did anything wrong.
31:57Because these people think they're above the law.
32:00I published my investigation in September of 2021 for the Daily Beast.
32:10This was the first time where you heard from multiple church members saying that they believe Faith Temple under Mary and Robert was a cult.
32:20I cannot believe Miss Mary Cosby.
32:39Is it a cult? Where was she getting all her money from?
32:42It did pick up chatter questioning Mary, questioning Robert and asking, is this really a cult?
32:50Will the show actually address these accusations?
33:05And then Mary skips the reunion.
33:08Mary Cosby did not attend the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 2 reunion.
33:14The controversial Housewives skipped the annual end of season showdown.
33:19The reunion, it's a chance for everyone to take accountability.
33:23Delia from New Orleans said, I've heard rumors that there's a support group for ex-members of Mary's Church.
33:29Does anyone know if this is true?
33:30It's true. It's 100% true.
33:32I've had ex-members of her congregation come up to me and say that I have it right, that we have it right.
33:37Okay.
33:39By Mary dipping out, she wasn't held accountable for what she did or the accusations.
33:45At this point, it was like an avalanche coming down on her and Robert, and she just didn't want to sit in the hot seat.
33:53Honestly, I am in shock. I cannot believe she just completely ditched the reunion.
33:59Would she be coming back next season?
34:00People began kind of saying, well, maybe there is some truth to this because she didn't want to answer questions.
34:05It's clear that Mary will not be returning back for season three.
34:20It's like, yeah, Goodreads. You should not be a part of this show.
34:22After Mary leaves The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in season two, she kind of goes dark and we don't hear too much about her.
34:31Until season four rolls around, she pops up in a limited role and then she's welcomed back onto the show fully for season five.
34:38We got Mary back. This is historical.
34:49I love this new Mary.
34:51I ate dirt.
34:52Season five, you won't recognize Mary Cosby. Why?
34:56Because she doesn't want to talk about what we all want to hear about.
34:59Did I see the contract? No.
35:00But from what I gather, she didn't want to talk about her husband.
35:04Oh, that's so good.
35:05I had no clue that there is like an upscale beer.
35:09She didn't want to talk about her church.
35:10Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
35:17Like, what are we doing?
35:19So what do you have to do if there are the two main plot lines that you don't want to talk about?
35:24Well, it's easy. Then you have to engage.
35:26I'm so tender.
35:27It'll be okay.
35:28I know. I don't mean to be emotional.
35:29It'll be okay.
35:30That's so normal.
35:31Like, you're normal.
35:32You're human.
35:33I want to come on here and just express my appreciation and my love for Mary Cosby.
35:38My complete viewpoint on her has changed.
35:42She's genuinely opening up and I feel like we know her a lot better this year.
35:49Mary, like, honestly brought humanity to the show and I think they need to keep paying Mary whatever they're paying her.
35:55Give her a raise.
35:56Mary turns back up on season five like nothing ever happened and she doesn't really address why she was absent for season three or ditches the reunion.
36:06There's a new storyline, a new plot, and everything from before is just forgotten about.
36:11The internet really does have the memory of a goldfish. Everyone's carrying on about how much they love Mary Cosby and how she's the best housewife of all time. Hello?
36:24She definitely gets a huge pass because she's not been reprimanded.
36:34Where I stand on Mary is that she can do whatever she wants and I'm here to support whatever her endeavors are here for it.
36:44I don't support her being a cult leader if that's what's going on, but I love watching her.
36:50Despite all the allegations and scandal, Mary's fully back into the spotlight.
36:55The final kind of accusation, allegation out there about you is that the church is some sort of cult.
37:01It's like ridiculous. Clearly, I'm not going to get on national television.
37:05Be it a housewife, it'd be it a cult.
37:08I think when anyone says, oh, why would I do this? It's a little bit of a deflection.
37:15For the congregation members, there's a lot of hurt and unresolved feelings there from Mary and Robert and their time at Faith Temple.
37:22So they wanted apologies that there was harm, that they don't speak to family members, that they did drain resources from them.
37:29And Mary kind of brushing it all off and saying, oh, it's not a cult. Why would I run a cult?
37:35It doesn't actually get to what they were upset about in the first place.
37:40Now, God, in the name of Jesus, Lord, we ask you to sanctify this place.

38:03Most of the members in Soul Restoration are made up of ex-Faith Temple members that have either left or were excommunicated.
38:13And I said, Lord, I'll take them.

38:18And the Lord began to talk to me, and He would say, all that stuff that happened in Faith Temple, He said, you've got to forgive.

38:33In Faith Temple, Mary and Bishop took the place of God, and we paid for it.

38:44Soul Restoration, it was like being rescued by someone that had Mama's love in them.

40:39Individuals that are still caught in those walls are not seeing the true signs.
40:47It takes something, and I don't know what that something is, for a certain person to wake up and say, oh, gosh, I'm in a cult.
40:57Scared to death.
40:58Grating.
40:59Insulting.
41:00You couldn't talk to each other.
41:01Public humiliation.
41:02Always a need for money, sleeping with God.
41:05Whether you describe it as the universe sending you a message, God sending you a message.
41:10When things seem off, step back and take a look.
41:15You don't have to live under dictatorships, mind manipulation.
41:20You don't have to live under spiritual abuse, religious abuse.
