00:11Kelantan. The Prime Minister's Office, PMO, said in a statement that the directive was aimed at
00:18ensuring public safety and convenience. The replacement work will be carried out by the
00:23Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister's Department, in collaboration with
00:28relevant agencies, to ensure prompt and effective action, and to guarantee safe access for the local
00:34community. The PMO added that Anwar viewed the incident seriously, which left several members
00:41of the public injured and disrupted daily access for residents in nearby villages, including Kampung
00:47Pasir Jering, Dusun Ban, Dusun Bunut and Kampung Batu Pagar. The Prime Minister also expressed his
00:53sympathy and concern for the more than 50 victims, particularly the newlywed couple and their
00:59families affected by the accident. The incident occurred on Thursday during a wedding reception
01:04when a suspension bridge used by the guests suddenly collapsed, causing more than 50 people
01:10to fall into Sungai Chatel Damai.
