La cérémonie d’investiture pleine de symbole de Zohran Mamdani, nouveau maire de New York

« Happy new year ! », s’est écrié le nouveau maire de New York, Zohran Mamdani, quelques secondes après le décompte du nouvel an. Le démocrate a officiellement pris ses fonctions ce 1er janvier lors d’une cérémonie d’investiture en petit comité.  Dans une station de métro historique de Manhattan, l’élu de 34 ans a prêté serment devant Letitia James, procureure démocrate de l’État de New York et ennemie personnelle du président américain, qu’elle a fait condamner pour fraudes en 2024.
