The London Ambulance Service is urging people to take extra care as they celebrate New Year’s Eve. 00:04If you are going out, we want you to have a great time.

00:08However, if you plan on drinking, please have a good meal beforehand.

00:13Make sure that you're having soft drinks and water and make sure that you've got a plan for how to get home.

00:19We are expecting it to be incredibly cold on New Year's Eve and therefore please make sure that you wrap up warm,

00:26particularly if you plan on drinking because then you might get colder than you realise you are.
