Transcript
00:00When I was a teenager, I was attacked on a train.
00:03I'd sort of forgotten about it, but I remember at the time being so angry.
00:08Somebody I didn't know, I was reading my book and, you know, this boy, man, attacked me.
00:16And I did fight back.
00:20And I got off, I remember getting off the train and my mother looking at me and saying,
00:25you know, why is your hair standing on end and why is the button, you know,
00:32mitting from your coat?
00:33Of course, so it was physical.
00:35I was being attacked.
00:36But I remember anger and I was so furious about it.
00:42And it sort of lurked for many years.
00:46And I think, you know, when all the subject about domestic abuse came up
00:49and suddenly you hear a story like John and Amy's, it all, you know,
00:54it's something that I feel very strongly about.
