01:33He could become the most majestic giraffe, and he would carry me on his back, my arms around his neck.

01:39We were on our way home when we surprised a group of bandits who had come from our village.

01:45One of them saw me, just as he removed a scarf from his face.

01:50He shouted, and then aimed his rifle.

01:53He didn't want you to identify him.

01:55Exactly.

01:56In an instant, my father bowed his neck to protect me, and was hit.

02:01As he fell, my father changed back into his human form.

02:06When the bandits saw this, they turned and ran in fear.

02:10Magic terrified them.

02:12And then he was gone.

02:14And it was all my fault.

02:16Your fault?

02:19He died protecting me.

02:22If I had been capable of protecting myself, he would still be alive today.

02:27My mother and I tried to go on without him, but it became too much for us there.

02:33A few years later, we left to come to Scotland.

02:35Do you think taking down the Ashwinders will avenge your father's death?
