00:00A stunning cyber shockwave has rocked Israel.
00:29Iranian hackers claim they have cracked the personal cell phone of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's closest aide and are now threatening to expose what they call the darkest secrets of Israel's political elite.
00:46At the center of the storm, Cattergate, alleged covert influence and claims of corruption at the very top.
00:53The hacker group, calling itself Hondala, said it has successfully breached the iPhone of Chachi Braverman, Netanyahu's chief of staff.
01:03On social media, the group published Braverman's phone number and released a 107-page document allegedly containing contacts, chat screenshots and internal material from his device.
01:16The hackers claim the phone belonged to Braverman's iPhone 16 Pro Max and warned that more explosive revelations were imminent.
01:25According to Hondala, the data includes encrypted chats, financial dealings and links to what they call systemic abuse of power inside Netanyahu's inner circle.
01:37Handala has dubbed the operation BB-gate, a pointed reference to what it claims is a far-reaching corruption scandal tied to Netanyahu's office.
01:47The group says it has monitored Israeli leadership for years and promises to release more material soon.
01:53The prime minister's office has pushed back strongly, saying no breach has been confirmed and that the matter is under investigation.
02:02Both Braverman and Netanyahu denied any wrongdoing and rejected the hackers' claims as disinformation.
02:09The alleged hack intersected with the explosive Cattergate affair.
02:13Two of Netanyahu's advisers are accused of secretly working for Qatar-linked interests through a perception management firm while employed in the prime minister's office.
02:24One adviser, Eli Feldstein, has admitted leaking classified information to a German newspaper, allegedly to influence public opinion, during Gaza hostage negotiations.
02:36Feldstein claimed Braverman was aware of a secret military probe and reassured him it could be neutralized.
02:43Feldstein has gone further, alleging Netanyahu himself approved the leak.
02:48These accusations have intensified scrutiny, just as Braverman is set to take up a high-profile diplomatic role as Israel's next ambassador to the United Kingdom.
02:59This is not Handala's first strike.
03:02The same group recently claimed it hacked former prime minister Naftali Bennett's phone, releasing personal images, documents, and contact lists.
03:12Bennett is widely seen as Netanyahu's strongest electoral challenger.
03:16As cyber warfare collides with political scandal, Israel is facing uncomfortable questions about digital security, foreign interference, and trust at the highest levels of power.
03:42Thank you for sincerity.
03:45Finland.
