00:17A group of urban explorers from Driven Deep decided to explore an abandoned elementary school known as Kishwaukee Elementary.
00:34They set out for the thrill, unaware that before long they'd be running for safety.
00:40The school was decaying, graffiti covered the walls, and the air felt heavy.
00:48Not long after entering, one of the brothers warned the group to stay off certain floors and be careful.

05:25The encounter ended without violence, but when you're exploring abandoned buildings
05:31and hear voices coming from the darkness, you never know who or what might be lurking inside.

05:48But this video revealed just how dangerous these locations can be.
05:54While driving with a friend, they stumbled upon an abandoned building and decided to explore.

12:31they had already encountered two people

12:35and another person trying to get in
12:37at the time
12:39they brushed it off
12:41not realizing those wouldn't be the last people they'd come across

13:09we've already ran into one homeless guy
13:12but then we were walking upstairs
13:14and we saw a kid walking up to the building
13:17he proceeded to try picking open a door
13:19i think he broke a window
13:21and then he was crawling on the roof
13:22we don't know if he got inside or not
13:24there's at least two people in this building
13:25but yeah

13:28i smell cigarettes and it's very strong

13:35because there is someone smoking cigarettes nearby
13:38the scent is very strong
13:40this is a really small hospital
13:55like the smallest hospital that i've like ever explored before
13:58it only has three levels
14:01and they're like very small
14:03i don't even think this place has a morgue
14:05there's a bunch of covid tests
14:07this whole box is filled with them
14:09yeah this place closed in 2019
14:11yeah no it was 20 like 20 times
14:15well there was a thing on the x-ray machine that it was
14:20they marked it defective in 2019
14:22so maybe they closed it as a hospital in 2019
14:26and then like had it open
14:28as like a covid testing center
14:30that's exactly it that's what that sign is
14:33register here that's what those check-in things were
14:35get an alarm going back there
14:39they explored room by room
14:41the building feeling strangely alive
14:44alarms echoed through the halls
14:47debris littered the floors
14:49and every sound felt amplified
14:51the deeper they went
14:53the more tense the atmosphere became

16:27when they passed the same room again

16:32and the door had moved on its own
16:34that was enough to unsettle them
16:37they continued exploring
16:40eventually making their way back toward the entrance where they'd first run into someone
16:45luckily
16:47they managed to leave without another encounter
16:49but exploring a place while knowing others are inside
16:54whether scrappers or homeless
16:56you never truly know what could happen
16:59exploring abandoned places isn't just about decay
17:05it's about the unknown
17:07and sometimes
17:09the most terrifying thing you can encounter
17:12isn't paranormal
17:13it's another person
