A towering crane is teetering over residential streets and at lease one house has lost its roof after a wild storm on the Gold Coast yesterday. An exclusion zone is in place while authorities work to dismantle the damaged crane in windy conditions.

01:10But they say it could be days until wind conditions allow work to proceed safely.
