08:30I am Dr. Kelvin Prem from Malaysia.
08:31I joined a long list of surgeons from Malaysia who undertook this program of fellowship in
08:44minimally access surgery with World Laparoscopy in UAE conducted by the famed Dr. Mishra and Dr.
08:51Phala.
08:52So this course took us through the basics of laparoscopic surgery, learning from the very
08:58basics of the camera, from the port, the instruments, all the way into tissue dissection and also
09:05basics of suture knotting and suturing intracorporeal and extracorporeal as well.
09:10So all these basics things that we learn in laparoscopy would be helpful for my future
09:14practice in going further in laparoscopic surgery.
09:19And probably I'll be coming back into a more advanced course of the future and I'm also
09:24looking forward into the robotic course in World Laparoscopy in the future.
