43:54Mercifully, mercifully for me, the St. Thomas scholarships existed.
44:01I didn't have anybody else to help me.
44:05Had a lot of memories, a love of hockey, and a huge hole in my heart.
44:10St. Thomas filled it with hope, the hope of a new family, things, things, things weren't always easy.
44:20You know, they never are for anybody.
44:22But in hockey, I found what I was missing, first at my high school, then later at college, and now here with the Admirals.
44:32And I never looked back, because I never had to.
44:36So, the family I craved, the family that I needed, that I still need today, hockey gave it to me.
44:48And St. Thomas gave me hockey.
44:50So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for being here tonight.
44:56And for supporting this cause, because it's not just a scholarship, it's, it's everything that comes with it.
