00:05Actually, for Christmas Day, southeast Michigan, it's not all that horrible, which unfortunately means no snow.
00:16You know, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the two days we actually would like snow on the ground, there isn't any.
00:25The snow that came weeks ago, of course, all melted.
00:31And anyway, that's now what I'm here to talk to you about.
00:35Also, I'm popping a bunch of extra pills.
00:39I feel either a cold or the flu coming on.
00:43Oh, boy.
00:45With my health issues, a weakened immune system being one of them.
00:49And hopefully I can start popping the pills early and catch it early and help the immune system ward it off.
00:59Extra vitamin C, extra vitamin D, extra vitamin everything.
01:04And sinus meds.
01:08Yes, ivermectin, HCQS, and Z-Pak.
01:14Anyway, I didn't hit record to talk to you about that either.
01:20Merry Christmas today.
01:22Christmas Day, I'm recording this.
01:24Yes.
01:26Remember.
01:27And I just last night dropped a piece at Before It's News.
01:34Shortcut tinyurl.com slash Christmas questions and answers.
01:42I'll run to get tinyurl.com slash Christmas questions and answers.
01:51Just a short piece.
01:52I don't go in depth.
01:54I'm thinking maybe my CTP5 book I might probably need to address.
02:01Is Christmas actually Christ's birthday?
02:06Most biblical scholars say no.
02:08Remember, Rome, the Roman Empire, before Constantine made it, had his conversion and made it the official language of the Roman Empire.
02:20And his mother, Helena, tried to recover things destroyed.
02:26The Roman Empire was at war.
02:30The original war on Christ and Christmas and Christianity.
02:35They tried to preserve the Roman gods and wanted Christ destroyed and Christianity destroyed as a faith.
02:49Remember, Joseph and Mary, the whole manger thing, no room at the inn.
03:01And why they traveled for the census as required by law at that time.
03:09So there would have been census records of where they were, who they were, when they were all born, including Jesus.
03:20But, you know, it's not like we have a birth certificate or even those census records.
03:28They were all destroyed.
03:31The original war on Christ and Christmas and Christianity.
03:36They wanted all that destroyed.
03:39They wanted the faith destroyed.
03:41But it persisted.
03:44It maintained.
03:46It lasted.
03:48And Helena and the Holy Roman Catholic Churches, established as the first official church of Christianity of the time, didn't get everything right.
04:03I'm sorry.
04:04Another before-it's-news piece.
04:06Did Jesus ever contradict himself?
04:09No, of course not.
04:11We humans screwed a bunch of things up.
04:14We humans, Jesus never said, go forth and create a hundred thousand different denominations in my name.
04:23No, we humans did all that.
04:27We humans created all these different Bibles that differ slightly because of human earthly power control agenda reasons.
04:38But anyway, was Jesus actually born on Christmas Day as we celebrate it?
04:45Probably not.
04:47Not the point.
04:49Not a problem if he was or wasn't.
04:52Mithras, I think, we have record was, which was a competed, supposed competing deity of the day.
05:01And one of the reasons why they may have thought to co-opt the day without knowing, without a birth certificate and without the census records, no one really knew.
05:15Jesus didn't get anything wrong.
05:17We humans got things wrong.
05:19But biblical scholars say, based on biblical references and the weather patterns suggested at the time, the season suggested at the time, it was probably not December 25th.
05:35Not important.
05:36What is important is the reason for the season.
05:40And yes, I've got a video exclusive, remembering the reasons for the season.
05:46And gifts, yes.
05:49Okay, fine.
05:50Debt, no.
05:52Bad idea.
05:53Please see that video.
05:56But before it's news.com, tinyurl.com slash Christmas questions and answers.
06:03Just drop, roll back in my long list of articles to find,
06:09Did Jesus Ever Contradict Himself?
06:12Longer title than that.
06:14Please read that article.
06:16Of course, he didn't.
06:17We humans screwed it up.
06:19Check out, of course, all my CTP books and go into stuff and as it's in CTP files.
06:26Hopefully, I think I'll address this Christmas question.
06:30But St. Nicholas was one of the things I wanted to mention here.
06:34The whole gift-giving thing, spirit of St. Nicholas.
06:41Yes, Nicholas, a real person.
06:45Was he a bishop, a cardinal, or just a priest?
06:50Originally, I think just as a priest, of course, he elevated and eventually the Holy Roman Catholic Church sainted him.
07:00Hence, St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, Sinterklaas, out of the German, the evergreen tree that we, out of the German tradition.
07:13At any rate, the symbols are good.
07:19They're not idols.
07:21We're not worshiping idols.
07:23The symbols help us get into and remember the reason for the season, Christ's birth, regardless of when it is or was.
07:35Not important.
07:37Celebrating Christ, who he was, what he was, what he did for all of us, is the important reason for the season.
07:47St. Nicholas, however, back to him, even though I'm getting the cold or the flu and my mind is, I'm losing my mind.
07:58I did remember the point I was trying to make.
08:01The original Nicholas went around anonymously, hence the anonymous packages from Santa under the tree,
08:12throwing coins through the open windows at the time of the poor.
08:20And generally, the tradition for the stockings by the chimney, well, back then, they didn't have good shoes.
08:28If they had shoes at all, their stockings, stockings, their socks would be wet.
08:35So they would come in and hang them over the fireplace to dry them.
08:40The stockings hung by the chimney with care.
08:45These origins are real, and these origins matter.
08:51Santa doesn't detract from Christ.
08:54It enhances the nature of Jesus wanting us to be our brothers and sisters' keeper
09:01and take care of windows and orphans by choice, not force.
09:08Biblical community, free will.
09:11We are given free will.
09:13Well, we are to want to do these things, not be forced at the barrel of a gun.
09:19Underworldly communism, having things stolen from one person and given to another,
09:24so the third person who stole from one to give to another can pretend they've done anything.
09:31No, charity from our own blood and treasure.
09:36Anyway, I'm just going to wrap it up there.
09:39I didn't intend for this to be wrong.
09:41My mind and I hit record and the mouse refuses to cooperate, but I didn't want this to be long.
09:52I just wanted to touch on a few things.
09:54Please, my before it's news articles in general, tinyurl.com slash jldarticles.
10:01Substack, tinyurl.com, jld on Substack, jld on TLB, jld on BitChute, uh, jld on BitChute, right?
10:20I'm on Blogspot, but I don't think I've got a shortcut for that.
10:24Anyway, thank you all.
10:27Merry Christmas, as well as Happy Holidays for non-Christians.
10:32No, I don't have a problem saying that, because I'm a Christian, not a jerk.
