00:22Airport officials expect around 140,000 passengers
00:27at Taoyuan International Airport's Terminal 3 each day,
00:31though they'll need to check in at a different terminal for now.
00:34The new extension will operate routes to North America,
00:37Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
00:40It's slated to begin full operations by 2027.
00:44At the ceremony, Lai praised the construction of the terminal
00:47and said he hoped the legislature could move forward
00:50on passing a budget for next year.
