00:00Welcome to my hiding zone.
00:03I cannot tell you where it is, you know the rules,
00:06but it's in the middle of a lot of surrounding density,
00:09so I'm hoping that Adam and Sam just sort of get tangled in a web of other lines.
00:13Hopefully they just can't pinpoint this exact station.
00:17Sam and Adam, good luck.
00:19Hello and welcome to episode two of our six-day game of hide-and-seek across the UK.
00:24Last episode we found Adam in Scarborough, England after nearly 11 hours.
00:28With 95 minutes of time bonus in hand, that puts his score at 12 hours and 28 minutes,
00:34a solid opening that's going to be tough to beat.
00:36Now it's Ben's turn to hide.
00:38He had four hours to find another hiding spot somewhere in the UK,
00:41and we'll be starting our search from Scarborough.
00:44We're planning to play this round as aggressively as possible
00:46to try to catch him before the end of the day,
00:48because a rest period could easily screw up one of our routes and buy him extra time.
00:52So let's see if Ben has what it takes to survive until tomorrow.
00:56Welcome back.
00:57Hello.
00:59It's round two, and it's time to absolutely get Ben's ass.
01:02I've come to really fear Ben in this game.
01:04He sort of dominated in Japan.
01:06Well, you sort of made the mistake of underestimating him in the past.
01:10I think we need to at least estimate him.
01:12So, Sam, we have, what, like 50 minutes until our next train out of here?
01:17Maybe a tad bit less, but yeah.
01:19So, Sam, opening question.
01:21I think that there's a strong argument for a classic 100-mile radar.
01:25I concur.
01:26I concur.
01:27It's just, you know, it's an oldie but a goodie.
01:30So, I looked into the map, and I think 100 miles includes probably the majority of his viable options.
01:36Yeah.
01:36But it would be useful to know that we don't want to go, like, all the way down to London.
01:41Totally.
01:41All the way up to Edinburgh.
01:42Yeah.
01:43Let's send 100-mile radar.
01:45Okay.
01:46If it's a miss, I will be, I will be, uh...
01:49You'll be surprised.
01:50Yeah.
01:50Sure.
01:51But honestly, I think if it's a miss, that's probably good for us, because I think the options are limited.
01:55We have our first question of the game.
01:59They've asked me.
02:00Ben, they've said, Ben, are you within 100 miles of us?
02:04And the fact of the matter is that I am.
02:06They're going to be jazzed to hear that, I'm sure.
02:09But I honestly don't think I really could have gotten that much further than 100 miles anyway.
02:14There's still a lot of stuff in that circle, boys.
02:18A lot of stuff in that circle.
02:20All right, Sam, I believe we have an answer.
02:22It is, in fact, a hit.
02:23Who would have thunk?
02:24Well, look, I wouldn't say this is surprising, but I would say, like, we know he's within 100 miles.
02:30That's not a huge area to deal with, really.
02:33Yeah, that's pretty good.
02:34Okay, here's a pitch.
02:35Okay.
02:3750-mile radar.
02:39I think that's a great pitch.
02:41Especially while we are on the coast, radars are extra useful because they're, like, more direction.
02:47Hit him with the 50-mile radar.
02:48Yeah, oh my gosh, it's so close to my face.
02:50We're hyped.
02:54All right.
02:56Now that I've answered, you know what I get to do.
03:00I get to draw two cards and keep one of them.
03:03Okay.
03:0515-minute bonus.
03:0610-minute bonus.
03:07That's an easy choice.
03:09We're going to keep that 15-minute bonus.
03:10We already have another question from them, actually.
03:1550-mile radar.
03:18That's pretty smart.
03:20I don't know what exactly the implications of that are, but I do know that I am not within 50 miles of them.
03:28So they're going to get this kind of donut.
03:30Yeah, that was a good one-two punch.
03:32Those smart boys are getting good at this.
03:35We get to draw a very satisfying circle now.
03:39I know.
03:40And I brought my compass.
03:42Okay, nice.
03:45All right.
03:47Sam, we have an answer.
03:51It is, in fact, a miss.
03:54Well, Matt, makes sense.
03:56Not surprising.
03:57Would have been awesome if it was a hit.
03:59I mean, this tells us we definitely want to go to York.
04:03Yes.
04:04I think 100% we want to at least go to York.
04:07Arguably to Leeds.
04:08Yes.
04:09I mean, I think that the next thing we need to do is try to figure out how we slice this north-south.
04:15I guess...
04:16I kind of think there's a good chance he's up here.
04:21Okay, well, I guess let's just go ahead and draw two more.
04:2715-minute bonus.
04:28Curse of the Drained Brain.
04:31Curse of the Drained Brain.
04:33Choose three questions in different categories.
04:36The Seekers cannot ask those questions for the rest of your run.
04:39Casting cost?
04:40Discard your hand.
04:41Actually, I like this.
04:43We're going to take Curse of the Drained Brain, because this allows us to eliminate three questions.
04:48Early in the round, it's good, because they've still got all the most valuable questions open.
04:52And the casting cost is to discard my hand, which right now is just that other 15-minute bonus that I just drew.
04:59So I'm just going to go ahead and play that now.
05:01The question is, what do I want to get rid of?
05:03The half-mile thermometer, for sure, is goaded.
05:08Picture of nearest Tather Street in the endgame.
05:12That one is really powerful.
05:14And then we'll get rid of...
05:16Let's kill their 25-mile radar.
05:18They've used their 10, their 50.
05:19I could have missed all 45.
05:22I...
05:23Please don't.
05:26We're filming a little show.
05:31This is...
05:32This place is awesome.
05:35But don't, but don't, because I have important footage on there.
05:39I have a YouTube show called Jet Lag the Game.
05:41Look it up.
05:44Yeah, it's got like a million.
05:46Yeah.
05:47Which means that if you steal that phone, they're going to find you.
05:50They're going to get you.
05:52Boom.
05:55Okay, well, that was a dense little bit of gameplay there.
05:59It's a fiery start to the round.
06:00But I haven't even really introduced you to the place where I am.
06:06I'm here.
06:08It's very pretty.
06:09It's sort of unbelievably cute.
06:11It's like this canal town, but it's like also on a river.
06:17Which I don't really understand how that works.
06:18And there are all these great canal boats, which I'll show you, that people seem to be living in.
06:24But the nice thing is, despite the fact that this place is really small and really cute and feels quite rural, it is pretty rural.
06:30There is a lot of density in kind of all directions around it.
06:35So I think that it's going to be hard to isolate this station.
06:40And now that we have taken away another one of their radars and their best thermometer, I do think that it's going to be even trickier.
06:49Mr. Benjamin Doyle has sent Curse of the Dream to bring.
06:52Oh, I see.
06:52And we can no longer ask 25-mile radar, along with half-mile thermometer and nearest path or street photo.
07:00Yes, well, those are kind of the three most useful questions in the game.
07:03Yes.
07:03Smart of him to do that.
07:05And it looks like our train's ready for boarding, so let's get on it.
07:08Okie doke.
07:09So the map goes almost to Manchester.
07:12It goes past Manchester.
07:13Oh, it goes past.
07:14I think he's in the Peak District.
07:16Okay.
07:16I have nothing to base this on except for vibes.
07:19Now that we're on this train for a while, maybe we want to ask a photo question.
07:26Yeah, let's just knock out a photo.
07:27I think that it, like, because photos take 20 minutes to answer, anytime we're sitting around, we should probably be having a photo question that we're waiting on.
07:37Assuming it's one that, like, we definitely want to.
07:39Assuming it's one of the ones we almost certainly want.
07:41I like tallest building visible from train station.
07:44I think we can get sort of a vibe.
07:46How do you feel about that?
07:47Clive check.
07:49Okay, got our next question.
07:57They have asked me for a photo of the tallest building from my station.
08:03They're asking questions quickly.
08:05I actually don't really know what the tallest building from the station is going to be, because the station's kind of over here.
08:12It's kind of a weird place.
08:12So let's go over there and see what I'm going to have to take a picture of.
08:17It's not a hospitable sidewalk.
08:19Let's go over there and see what I'm going to have to take a picture of, because I'm going to have to take a picture of the station.
08:25I think the tallest is going to be, like, these houses up here, which, you know, obviously that tells you that we're not in the middle of a city.
08:37But it'll tell them a decent bit, but I don't know if it'll tell them everything.
08:43Let's send it over.
08:47Benjamin has sent a photograph.
08:49It's got some...
08:52That's not big.
08:53It's not big.
08:54If that's the biggest, if that's the tallest building he can see from his train station, he is in a small place.
08:59Oh, yeah.
08:59He's in a small place for sure.
09:01Yeah.
09:01A hundred percent.
09:02Like, that building looks like it's on a hill, basically.
09:06Yeah.
09:07Yeah, it does.
09:08Because otherwise, it's, yeah, it seems like it's up, like, I'm getting peak district divides.
09:13That's a useful data point.
09:14Because we can look at a, we can look at a topographical map.
09:19Yeah.
09:19Okay.
09:21So, while we were waiting for this, we were talking, our line into York does some weird stuff.
09:28You can sort of see it here.
09:30And we can use that to get a three-mile thermometer that goes like this, basically.
09:38And I think we should do it.
09:40Because, like, I don't think he's up here.
09:42But, of course, this game doesn't work on thinking.
09:45It works on knowing.
09:46And look, if we can cut this off and we know we don't need to go up here, that's great.
09:52We can go on to leads and focus on all of this nonsense.
09:56Okay.
09:57Let's do that as our next move.
09:58Look, we're going to find him before the end of the day.
10:01That's what I have to say.
10:03Okay.
10:03Well, with that photo sent off, we get to draw cards right off the top of the deck.
10:08So, let's hope it's a good one.
10:13Oh.
10:15This is a brand new kind of card that we added for this season.
10:21This is very exciting.
10:23Because I think there are a lot of different ways to use this.
10:25But first, let me have Sam explain how this kind of card works in VO.
10:29Okay.
10:30So, time traps.
10:31Here's how they work.
10:32The hider can place a time trap on any station on the map.
10:36Every hour that the time trap stays there, it gets more valuable.
10:39And if the seekers ever visit that station, the time trap goes off and the hider gets all that extra time added to their score.
10:46The tricky bit, though, is that the seekers are told exactly where the time trap is.
10:50If you place it too close to you or on a station that they'd have to pass to get to you, you might be giving up a lot of valuable info about where you might be hiding.
10:57But on the other hand, if you place it far away from you as a diversion, there's a good chance they'll call your bluff and never run into it at all.
11:04Pretty cool, huh?
11:05Well, if you want to test out time traps for yourself, we're including them in the brand new expansion pack for our existing hide-and-seek home game alongside 50 new curses and a whole bunch of other stuff.
11:14Thousands of you all over the world have already played and loved our hide-and-seek format for yourselves, so we wanted to give you the tools to customize it and make it your own.
11:21Anyway, back to Ben.
11:24Thank you very much, Sam.
11:25I think I know what I want to do.
11:29It looks like they're heading to Leeds.
11:31I don't know if they're going to go all the way to Leeds, but it looks like they're probably going to go to Leeds eventually.
11:35I do not want to put the time trap anywhere that gives them any information, because if they get on the right train out of Leeds, they could be here really quickly.
11:44So I do think that I have to try to play the time trap in a misleading way.
11:50I don't want to play it somewhere that is totally crazy, totally way out there, because I think it's going to be too easy to just do a radar or something and just totally exclude it.
11:59So I think what I want to do is I want to put it close to the center of Leeds, but on the wrong lineup.
12:06It's a little risky because they might just ignore it, and if they just ignore it, I won't get anything.
12:11But are Adam and Sam just going to ignore something?
12:14I don't think so.
12:15So what if I put it in Shipley?
12:18I think I'm going to put it in Shipley.
12:20I think that's tempting enough that they might go out there and just try and get rid of it so that it doesn't accrue extra time.
12:24And then they will have gone the wrong way.
12:28Did I play that time trap right?
12:30I don't know.
12:31It nearly fried my brain just thinking about it.
12:35So hopefully I did.
12:37We'll see what they do with that information.
12:46Well, Sam, Ben has dropped a time trap.
12:50What the f*** is a time trap?
12:52Well, did he explain it?
12:53He probably already explained it.
12:55Not to me.
12:56Where is this time trap?
12:58It's in Shipley Station, which is like northwest of Leeds.
13:04Kind of random.
13:06My hot take.
13:07I think it's fake news.
13:09I think that he is trying to bait us into going to that area north of Leeds.
13:18Mm-hmm.
13:19Yeah.
13:19I personally am not interested in falling for it.
13:23To be fair, that area does look like mildly hilly.
13:28Okay.
13:29But not as hilly.
13:31It makes me more interested in trying to eliminate all of this stuff.
13:36But I think that's a matter for later.
13:38Let's set it to the side for now.
13:40We can revisit it later.
13:41I think right now, for now, if we're going to start that thermometer, it's going to be soon.
13:45We are approaching the spots.
13:48Hit it.
13:49Hit it.
13:50All right.
13:54Thermometer started.
13:57This is awesome.
13:58Okay, so the question on Sam and Adam's mind, I'm sure, is, is Ben and Shipley?
14:10Is Ben in any of the towns right outside of Shipley, beyond Shipley?
14:15And the fact of the matter is I am in no such towns.
14:17In fact, I am, I'm in a kind of town that I did not really know existed, which is a town
14:21where people live in these cute little, cute little canal boats.
14:28Um, like, look at these.
14:30I mean, I think that people live in them.
14:33Uh, I saw a woman asleep in one over there.
14:37I mean, I wasn't, like, watching her, but I think people live in them.
14:41Like, that child that came up to me and tried to steal my phone was like, why are you here?
14:47This place sucks.
14:48And it's like, look, okay, I get it.
14:50There's probably not that many places to play Fortnite out here.
14:54But, um, but on the other hand, look at this.
14:59This is a sign for a market, and the sign is a gourd.
15:04So it's like, do you want to play Fortnite or do you want to live in a houseboat?
15:08Because I think I know the answer.
15:11I mean, the answer for me is I do want to play Fortnite.
15:14But living in a houseboat seems cool.
15:17They've started a 10-mile thermometer.
15:19It means that there isn't, like, they haven't magically figured out where I am yet.
15:24I gotta hope that that is the case for a while, because I need quite a few more hours.
15:30All right, Sam, we are approaching the end of our thermometer now.
15:39It's going to be pretty tight to get an answer before we get to York.
15:44We just need an answer by the time we get to York, because if it's warmer, we need to stay on the train.
15:50Yes.
15:50If it's colder, we need to get off the train.
15:52Okay.
15:54Thermometer done.
15:55Look, I think I would be really surprised if it was colder, but it'd be great.
16:02Crazier things have happened.
16:03Crazier things have certainly occurred.
16:06Okay.
16:07Well, they've ended their thermometer, and the answer is warmer.
16:16They are warmer.
16:17Not a big section of map to slice off, but credit where credit's due.
16:22I think it's actually probably a difficult slice of map to slice off.
16:26So, look, I'll applaud a question while asked.
16:30I think that was a clever one.
16:32Um, I'm sure they were hoping I was going to be in the Newcastle area, alas.
16:37I am not.
16:38So, let's see what I got.
16:40Curse of the Shrewd Critic?
16:42Curse of the Shrewd Critic.
16:44Without using the internet, the seekers must find a location that has at least a 4.3 star average rating on Google Maps before asking another question.
16:51If their guess was wrong, they must wait 10 minutes before guessing another location.
16:55Casting cost?
16:56Seekers must currently be off transit within 500 feet of a valid location.
17:00And curse the hide-and-seek-ception.
17:04Curse of the hide-and-seek-ception.
17:07All seekers but one must close their eyes.
17:09Without discussion, the remaining seeker must go somewhere at least 500 feet away and not within direct eyeshot in any direction.
17:15The other seekers must find them without asking them for any information before asking another question.
17:21Casting cost?
17:21The seekers must be off transit at least 500 feet from a transit station.
17:27Curse of the Shrewd Critic.
17:28I think I could see accruing some real time.
17:34So I think I'm going to keep that one.
17:41Oh, he answered early.
17:44Oh.
17:45What's the answer?
17:48Warmer.
17:49Okay.
17:50As we suspected.
17:50As suspected.
17:51So we go to Leeds.
17:53Then what?
17:54Yes.
17:55Well, now I would say things get more complicated because there's all of this crap.
17:59Sort of, there's an enormous amount of garbage that we have to deal with.
18:02So we kind of want to divide that in half.
18:06Maybe we do the county?
18:09The region.
18:10The region.
18:11So I like region.
18:14I think that it approximately cuts the remaining area in half.
18:18I continue to believe we just aggressively cut.
18:22Anytime we see an opportunity to cut the area in half, we just do it.
18:26Okay.
18:27Hit it?
18:28Hit it, man.
18:29Okay, well, we got back-to-back questions here.
18:40They have asked me if I am in the same region as them.
18:44And the answer to that, unfortunately, is yes.
18:48I was worried that that question was going to come sooner.
18:51I'm glad that it didn't.
18:52Because they could have asked that question, like, first.
18:54And they could have skipped a lot of the other questions that they asked.
18:59So I guess I'm glad that they didn't ask it right away.
19:05But yeah.
19:06No, it is a hit.
19:07I am in Yorkshire in the Humber.
19:09I don't know if they're going to be pleased about that.
19:11But I'll tell you what.
19:14You know what I'm pleased about is the fact that I get to draw three cards and keep one.
19:19Let's see what I get here.
19:2215-minute bonus.
19:2410-minute bonus.
19:26Curse of the Mind meld.
19:28Curse of the Mind meld.
19:30On the count of three, any two seekers say any word at the same time.
19:34Assuming they're not the same word, they must wait five minutes.
19:36And both seekers say a new word that they believe to be the midpoint between the last two words.
19:42You may not say any words that have already been said or do anything at all to indicate what word you will say next.
19:47Seekers may not ask another question until they both say the same word.
19:51Casting cost?
19:52Discard a card.
19:53In my estimation, Curse of the Mind meld is not worth more than 15 minutes, especially considering that you have to discard a card for it.
20:02If I was playing against two real dummies, but I, the smart boys, you know, the smart boys.
20:09And I think they would meld their minds just fine.
20:11So I'm just going to take that 15-minute bonus and call it a day.
20:15Sam, we have an answer.
20:16And it is?
20:18Whoa, it's a hit.
20:20It's a hit.
20:21Whoa.
20:22That is...
20:25That's interesting.
20:27So we definitely don't want to continue on to Manchester.
20:30No.
20:33That's not, that's not much.
20:35That's not much.
20:37Look at this photograph.
20:40The photograph?
20:41Look at this.
20:42Oh, sorry, sure.
20:43It's a meat.
20:43The Nickelback, yeah.
20:44Where he bolts it like that.
20:45Yeah, yeah, yeah.
20:46Um, okay.
20:50That's crazy, dog.
20:52I'm telling you, we're finding him before the end of the day.
20:55All right.
20:56I set it at the start.
20:57And I stand by it.
21:07Sam and Adam are getting mighty close to leads.
21:10With that region question, they have narrowed the map down quite a bit.
21:14But I do think that this is where the game gets trickiest.
21:19Hopefully.
21:20Hopefully.
21:21That was the intention?
21:22Was that all these lines out of leads are a little difficult to untangle.
21:26Um, so the question is just going to be, once they get to leads, what is the question
21:30that they, that they ask to, uh, to untangle this, this web of mystery?
21:36People almost hit me with their car.
21:38That's not a mystery at all.
21:40That's just, that's just a normal kind of crime.
21:44Oh my God.
21:44We're going to have to do it again.
21:45It's possible that he's up here.
21:47It's possible that he's up here.
21:49True.
21:50So like, maybe we want to find a way to cut that off.
21:53But look, I know we're being...
21:55Wait, wait, wait.
21:56Well, let me, let me see.
21:57Can we do one administrative division down?
22:00Yeah.
22:01I think that would be really good.
22:02But that doesn't include a lot.
22:04But what it would do is it would mean that we don't have to worry about these stations
22:07here.
22:08Yeah.
22:08I'll film you just for variety.
22:09Another, another one.
22:13Sam, I, I simply believe that we should do another one.
22:17We are currently in the county of West Yorkshire.
22:20We have entered it, uh, just recently.
22:24It's a, it's a good bit of the, of the remaining.
22:26Yes.
22:26It's a good and very dense bit of the remaining area.
22:30Okay.
22:31Should we hit it?
22:32Hit it.
22:33Is he in West Yorkshire?
22:35I think it'd be funny if we caught him in under four hours.
22:38I think that that's exactly what we should do.
22:40No hubris.
22:42No, no hubris.
22:43Look, we've been burned by hubris with Ben so many times.
22:47I have no hubris.
22:48I think we're doing awesome.
22:50And we have a plan now.
22:51So we get off in Leeds.
22:52There is a train that might be a quick connection down to Doncaster.
22:58Okay.
22:58So I think we'll have an answer by then to tell us whether, do you want to head to
23:02Doncaster if it's a no?
23:04I think if it's a no, we head to Doncaster.
23:06We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
23:07Okay.
23:08I think it's good.
23:09All right.
23:09Well, we've got a question from them.
23:11They are asking me if I am in the same county as them, West Yorkshire.
23:16I think that's a smart question.
23:17I think it is going to sort of cut their map in half a little bit.
23:20The answer is yes, I am in West Yorkshire.
23:23With that question out of the way, hopefully there are still many to come.
23:26But I'm going to say it's all my cards.
23:29Five minute bonus.
23:31Discard one, draw two.
23:33Five minute bonus.
23:34I think the discard one, draw two for now.
23:36Um, I don't think there's anything I want to discard just yet, but, uh, it's not a bad card to have around.
23:44Smart question.
23:45Again, playing well.
23:48I like that.
23:49Start playing worse, please.
23:51Yes.
23:52All right.
24:07We're going to leave.
24:08I think we just got an answer.
24:10Okay.
24:20Man, the hits just keep coming.
24:22Oh my goodness.
24:25I want to see what 15 miles looks like from here.
24:27Maybe it doesn't get us everything, but it would get us a lot.
24:30let's go find a good research zone
24:32and find whatever the most useful tentacles is.
24:35Okay.
24:36Have we even explained what tentacles is?
24:38We might need to have done that in VO.
24:41Hello, it's me and the VO.
24:42Let me quickly explain how tentacle questions work.
24:45Basically, they're kind of like a more powerful,
24:47more expensive radar that only works in a very limited area.
24:51For a 15-mile tentacle question,
24:52which is what we're considering,
24:53we can choose one of four things.
24:55Metro lines, zoos, aquariums, or amusement parks.
24:58If we choose zoos, for example,
25:00then Ben would have to tell us which zoo
25:01within 15 miles of us he's closest to.
25:04If there are a bunch of zoos,
25:05that could cut the map down by a lot.
25:07But if Ben himself isn't within 15 miles,
25:10then the question is just amiss,
25:11and all we know is that he's more than 15 miles away.
25:14These are very powerful, but they're also expensive,
25:17so we gotta hope that whatever we choose is a hit.
25:20Yes, so let's tentacle his ass.
25:23Well, we said we were gonna stop phrasing it that way.
25:26I didn't say that.
25:2815-mile tentacle covers most stuff.
25:30But not everything.
25:31But if it's amiss, that tells us a lot.
25:33There's like two zoos.
25:36I'm hopeful about amusement parks.
25:38Amusement park is pretty good.
25:40Look.
25:40There's like one, two, three, four.
25:42I think it's amusement park.
25:44All right, should we hit it?
25:45Yeah.
25:46All I've eaten today is like a bar.
25:51Not even a whole bar.
25:52I tried a new kind of bar
25:53that is supposed to be especially good for you,
25:56and it tasted like poison.
25:57So I really have not eaten that very much food at all today.
26:03What do they want?
26:0415-mile tentacle from Leeds Station.
26:08Amusement park.
26:09I am not within 15 miles, which is good.
26:14It basically just means that that was a really expensive radar,
26:18but it is gonna take out another big chunk of the map.
26:21Maybe instead of food, I should be looking for hiding spots.
26:25I hate to admit it,
26:26but I think it might be time to try and figure out where I'm gonna hide
26:31because, I don't know,
26:33they're cutting down the map real fast.
26:36It's a miss, Sam.
26:38Whoa.
26:39Okay.
26:40Whoa.
26:41Okay, that's fine, actually, in my opinion.
26:43It's potentially good.
26:44Because I think that that eliminates most,
26:48close to most of the remaining area.
26:49First question, which way do we go, then?
26:52We need to check so we don't miss a train.
26:55Most likely, we go west towards, like, Halifax.
26:58Let me check the next train in Halifax.
27:00It's not immediate.
27:03There's one in 17 minutes.
27:05Do you want to hit his time trap?
27:06I think it might be legit.
27:07It was in Shipley, right?
27:08It was in Shipley.
27:09There's a train down that line in 20 minutes,
27:11so we have a lot of good options relatively soon.
27:14I think the bigger question is,
27:15I think that there's one, two, three, four.
27:17Or maybe this line is slightly in play.
27:20Five lines he could be on.
27:22Six, seven, I guess.
27:24And we got to figure out which one.
27:26Look, on the bright side,
27:28I get two, now draw four, and keep two,
27:32which is the most valuable kind of question or reward out there.
27:37So, you know, that's good.
27:40I'm going to bonus.
27:42Discard two, draw three.
27:43Veto, ooh, and randomize.
27:46I am going to take the veto and the randomize
27:50because both of these are things that I can use
27:53to really jam up future questions that they ask.
27:57I don't know.
27:58It's looking like I might be cooked.
28:01It is looking like I might be cooked.
28:03But, look, in the past,
28:06it has looked like I am cooked,
28:09and it turns out that I am not cooked.
28:11Anything could happen,
28:12but it is kind of looking like I'm cooked.
28:14I think there's five options, really,
28:17that are west of us.
28:18So Bradford seems to be a relatively big hub that way.
28:22I wonder if we want to take this train to Bradford
28:25in 11 minutes as we ask, for example,
28:27a Strava map question
28:29and investigate the map a little bit more.
28:31I like that.
28:32Well, also, the place here is looks so tiny.
28:35I wonder if Strava map will be super helpful.
28:37It could be.
28:37Because, like, it might be that it has weird, windy streets.
28:41It's like we're getting to the number of options now.
28:44Where you can start.
28:45I say ask for Strava map.
28:47Let's head on that train.
28:49Platform 90 to Bradford.
28:51This will not hit us at the location,
28:54but we'll get near stuff.
28:56I think it's this one.
29:02They want the Strava map.
29:07This could be good.
29:08This could be bad.
29:09The streets here are, like, relatively straight
29:13for a place that is as rural as this,
29:15but also, like, there are not that many of them.
29:18And so I do think that this map is going to end up looking
29:21weird enough that it could give them a hint.
29:25Okie dokie.
29:29I hope that that does not screw me.
29:31It might.
29:32Time will tell.
29:33In the meantime, I do get to draw one card.
29:36Curse of the Void.
29:39Curse of the Void.
29:40For the next three questions that the Seekers ask,
29:43roll a die.
29:43If you roll a one, two, three, or four,
29:46that question is automatically vetoed.
29:48Casting costs?
29:49Discard a veto.
29:50I do have a veto in hand.
29:53And that actually, this could be a good time to play it.
29:55So basically, this is like, I get rid of a veto,
29:58but then there's a chance of a veto happening
30:00on their next three questions.
30:02I like that.
30:03Let's go ahead.
30:05Where even are they?
30:06What are they going to do?
30:07Oh, that's interesting.
30:08Okay, so they're not...
30:10They're moving towards Shipley.
30:13They're not in Shipley.
30:14They are definitely going up that direction.
30:16They are not going towards me.
30:18They are not on a train that is heading towards me.
30:23Where will they get off it?
30:24And what are they doing on it?
30:27I have no clue.
30:36Is this leading straight on Chester?
30:38Chester.
30:39A lot of spicy stuff happening.
30:41Okay, we got some SMS text messages.
30:44Yes.
30:45The first one is our straw thumb map.
30:47Exciting.
30:47Yay.
30:48The second one is a curse.
30:51Okay, less good.
30:53The next three questions.
30:55This is nasty.
30:57Yeah.
30:58Because it has a two...
30:59What?
31:00Is that right?
31:01It says roll a die.
31:02It has a two-third shot of a veto for each question.
31:04No, a one-third shot.
31:06Oh, no, a two-third shot.
31:07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
31:08Oh, man.
31:09So it's likely that our next few questions will be vetoed.
31:13Adam, I've been staring at the map.
31:15Okay.
31:15I've narrowed down our options.
31:18One of the lines I've excluded on basically vibes.
31:22Not full exclusion, provisional exclusion.
31:24All right.
31:25I don't see any, like, topography.
31:27Got it.
31:27I think the photo...
31:28It's just, like, that photo that he sent earlier for the tallest building from the station
31:31just 100% does not look like it would match.
31:34All right.
31:34I'm looking at this line now, though, and I'm seeing some really good candidates.
31:38Like, this station, for example, like, you remember, it's, like, two layers of houses
31:45and then woods.
31:47Look at this.
31:48It's, like, two layers of houses and then woods.
31:51Okay.
31:51I want to do some Strava work on this, see if I can find a match.
31:56Yeah.
31:56I will join you in this endeavor.
31:59Although you tend to be better at this.
32:00Let's do that.
32:01Let's also keep an eye out towards, like, our next train options in various directions.
32:05Yeah.
32:05At this point in the round, I really am starting to think about where is my final hiding spot
32:11going to be?
32:12And there are, like, you know, I'm up in the hills.
32:15There are all these hills.
32:17And hills are good due to gravity.
32:20Well, gravity is normally not on my side.
32:22But, you know, the further up I go, the longer it's going to take for them to get to me.
32:29The hiding zone is only a two-dimensional plane.
32:32But you can go up.
32:33You can go as far up as you want.
32:35I do just like going up.
32:37Up feels like a good direction.
32:39I'm getting good vibes from up.
32:41So we're going to keep going up.
32:43Okay.
32:43There is a station, Sam, that is called Dendydale.
32:46Yeah.
32:47To me, this is candidate number one.
32:53I really like Todd Morden.
32:57Okay.
32:57Although I'm not seeing an immediate match.
33:00Man.
33:00Let me cook a bit.
33:02Let me cook.
33:03Adam.
33:04Yeah.
33:06Did you cook?
33:07Hebden Bridge.
33:09Hebden Bridge?
33:10How do you feel about that?
33:10The only bit that I don't like is the angle seems a bit off for that section.
33:17Duh, duh, duh.
33:18Yuh, yuh, yuh.
33:19I mean, looking at...
33:22And also, look at the station here.
33:25The station.
33:25I'm looking at the station on satellite.
33:28Woods.
33:29Houses.
33:31And, like, once again, it's, like, the satellite map isn't very good.
33:35But, like, you can see on this, it's, like, two layers of buildings.
33:39Yeah.
33:40How far are we from Hebden Bridge?
33:43Could we just go there and check it out?
33:45Like, ride the line?
33:47We can get there by six.
33:48I feel like the odds of there being this pattern...
33:52Let me just look, like, at it with my own eyes without that overlay.
33:58Oh, yeah, dude.
33:59Yeah.
34:00Yeah.
34:03I mean...
34:04Yeah, yeah.
34:06No, I think that's it.
34:07Okay, well, this is very interesting.
34:09So, I went to the tracker to see where they are.
34:13Pool, crane car, crane car.
34:16Sam and Adam have been stuck around the Bradford interchange for a little bit.
34:21And it does actually seem like this could be a decent time to use Curse of the Shrewd Critic.
34:27So, yeah.
34:28I don't know.
34:29I'm just throwing stuff at them.
34:30I'm just chucking stuff at the wall and hoping that they have a mental breakdown and quit the game.
34:38That's my strategy right now.
34:40So, Curse of the Shrewd Critic.
34:42I think, yeah, around there.
34:43I like the look of Hebden Bridge.
34:45Um, oh, we got another Curse.
34:48Without using the internet, the Seekers must...
34:50Ben is nervous.
34:52What did he say?
34:53We got another Curse.
34:54No, no, no.
34:54What is the Curse?
34:55Curse of the Shrewd Critic.
34:57What time's that train?
34:58Um, I don't think enough time.
35:00Do you want to just get on it?
35:03At this point, like, we can't...
35:06Questions are tough right now.
35:08Yeah, that's the thing.
35:10Already, it's going to be tough to ask more questions.
35:12Yeah, uh...
35:13I mean, we need to ask more questions regardless, but...
35:19We will, but we can clear the Google Maps thing there.
35:21Okay, but we're getting on that train.
35:23We're getting on that train.
35:24I think, yes.
35:25There is a train from where they are to where I am that goes straight to where I am in, like, five minutes.
35:31But I have no idea if they know exactly where I am, or they have no idea.
35:37Like, I just...
35:38I do not know what the state of the game is right now.
35:40So, we're going to keep an eye on them.
35:43We're going to see if they start beelining it towards me, because if they do, then we might need to get into our hiding place really quickly.
35:53And I do not yet know where that is.
35:54But I do know that it's going to be up.
35:57We're going to keep going up.
35:59Because up feels right.
36:02Certified vibe zone.
36:04Certified vibe zone.
36:07Is this where I want to hide?
36:09No.
36:10I'm going to keep going up.
36:12We're so far from the canals now.
36:17I feel bad for Ben.
36:19Well, I feel bad for him if we're right.
36:21If we're wrong...
36:22Yeah, then...
36:22Remember, this has happened before, where we were like, oh, I feel bad for Ben, and then he wins.
36:26But, like, what are the odds of a perfect street pattern like that?
36:28Now I know.
36:29Look, I think that it's it.
36:32I think you finessed it with this drop, as you are wont to do.
36:37It's going to be cozy in there.
36:40Yes.
36:40So cozy.
36:42This endgame is going to be horrible.
36:44We have two curses on us that are preventing us from asking questions, and it might get dark.
36:50Yep.
36:52Yep.
36:52Okay.
37:00Well, they just left on a train from Bradford.
37:04And it is too early to tell if it's a train that goes towards me or it's not.
37:10Um, but if it is, I need to get into position, and I still don't know where I'm hiding.
37:21Look, this is kind of serene.
37:22Oh, it's a playground.
37:23Okay.
37:24Hi.
37:29Hi.
37:29I have a question.
37:31I'm playing hide-and-seek.
37:32Do you know any good hiding spots around here?
37:34Yeah.
37:35Oh, yes.
37:36I know some good hiding spots.
37:38So there's one up there.
37:40One up there?
37:41Yeah, there's one up there.
37:43There's one in the holly bush.
37:45The holly bush.
37:46Okay.
37:46Yeah, yeah.
37:47Me and my friend sometimes go in there while our little friends just walk past.
37:53They're like, what are you doing?
37:54That sounds pretty good to me.
37:56I'll remember the bushes.
37:59Okay, Sam, we are approaching the station before the one we think it is.
38:04So we should just be looking to see if we can match that photo.
38:09I mean, the woods look pretty far here.
38:11Yeah, on this side, yes.
38:14I think we can pretty safely say it's a no.
38:20Next one, though.
38:21Yes, next one I continue to be very hopeful.
38:24Oh, my God.
38:25They've got farm animals here.
38:29Hi.
38:31Hi.
38:32I don't mean to freak anybody out, but they are most certainly on the line that goes to me.
38:38I mean, I think I'm going to just have to hide somewhere out here.
38:42I'm about as high as I can go.
38:46Stations down there in that there valley.
38:49Oh, look at this.
38:50Right at the very top of the hill.
38:52I think this is about as high as I can go.
38:55A lovely little bench.
38:58Also a book.
38:59A little book for reading during my hide.
39:04It is a little exposed to this street.
39:06Oh, where does this go?
39:14What is it?
39:15Where else would it be?
39:18Is this a real street?
39:20Yeah.
39:21This is a real street.
39:23Well, this is kind of awesome.
39:25Because this is totally obscured from all that stuff down there.
39:30Put my book down.
39:31Okay.
39:33I think this is my spot.
39:35Yeah.
39:36They're just about here.
39:45That way?
39:46That way.
39:47I'll check it out.
39:48But you have to go by the station to it, right?
39:49It's like a little dirty.
39:50Okay.
39:51All right.
39:52Yeah.
39:53Cool.
39:53Well, have a nice night.
39:54Good luck.
39:55All right.
40:00I do not see the building yet by his ass.
40:04I'm hopeful.
40:06So it, Adam.
40:08So it.
40:09Yeah.
40:10So, like...
40:11Okay.
40:11Well, here's...
40:12She thought it was on that side.
40:13Oh.
40:23That is brutal for our guy, Ben.
40:27Oh, Benny boy.
40:29Okay.
40:29We need to choose a business.
40:31This station is really cool.
40:33It's actually pretty binding.
40:34I think it might have a great rating.
40:36I say let's guess this station.
40:38Lock it in.
40:38Yep.
40:39You mean 4.3 stars or above?
40:40Yep.
40:424.4.
40:43All right.
40:46They're here.
40:47They still got to knock out this curse.
40:51Oh.
40:51I just literally just got a text that they have cleared the curse.
40:55Now we can ask him stuff.
40:57It's just a good chance it gets vetoed for the next three weeks.
40:59Do we want...
41:00Uh, what do we want.
41:02Maybe we should ask him stuff that isn't that useful.
41:05So that if it gets vetoed...
41:07Maybe just, like, mildly useful.
41:08Because he still gets the cards.
41:10Like, measuring to, like, surely the closest commercial airport.
41:13Yeah.
41:13Yeah.
41:14Okay.
41:14I'm cool with that.
41:15Distance to nearest commercial airport.
41:17They still have the curse that does the veto thing.
41:19I get to roll the die.
41:20If it's a one, two, three, or four, that question is just automatically vetoed.
41:25Is that three?
41:26It is vetoed.
41:27Well, that's a pretty nifty curse, huh?
41:29Look at all these boats.
41:30What a beautiful, bad hiding spot.
41:32Our question was vetoed, Sam.
41:34That's tough.
41:35What do we want to ask instead?
41:37I mean, we could walk 0.25 miles this way and ask the 0.5 thermometer.
41:44Yeah, it's fine with me.
41:45Keep your eyes out for a flash of yellow.
41:49It could be anywhere.
41:50Not him.
41:53We're almost at 0.25 miles away from the train station.
41:57Quarter mile radar from here?
41:58Yeah, sure.
41:58Quarter mile radar.
42:00I'm going to roll the die again.
42:01If it's one, two, three, or four, it gets automatically vetoed.
42:04Nope.
42:04That's a five.
42:05Okay.
42:06I think a quarter mile radar is pretty good.
42:11And if I randomize it, it's probably useless.
42:14So, I think now is the time to use my randomize.
42:21Not vetoed, but the question has been randomized, Sam.
42:25What the f***?
42:25This is f***ed up.
42:27This is really f***ed up.
42:27Yeah.
42:28My dice are in the box.
42:29If you buy the game, then you get these dice, too.
42:32We want a one or a five?
42:34Six is invalid.
42:35That sucks.
42:36Nope.
42:37So, that is a one mile radar.
42:39That's going to be the whole zone, right?
42:41At least we'll confirm that he's here.
42:42One mile radar.
42:45Which is basically useless.
42:48It's basically useless.
42:49Not very useful, but still a question.
42:51So, I still get the reward from it.
42:55Curse of the Archaeologist.
42:58Curse of the Archaeologist.
42:59Send the Seekers a photo of a building or structure whose age you can verify to within a century.
43:04The Seekers must find a building or structure, whose age they can also verify,
43:07from the same century or earlier before asking another question.
43:11Casting cost?
43:12A standard photo of a building or structure.
43:14And another time trap.
43:15Can't really do either of these.
43:17Can't take the curse.
43:18I can discard it.
43:19Because I have my discard one, draw two.
43:22I'll discard these puppies and draw two more.
43:26Another little 15-minute bonus.
43:28And a frickin' time trap that can't do it anyway.
43:35Your radar is a hit.
43:36Yay!
43:37At least we are in the right spot.
43:38Go ahead and ask him.
43:40Photo up.
43:40A photo up.
43:42Last chance at a free veto here.
43:43And it's vetoed.
43:46Okay.
43:47I would like a photo towards him soon.
43:49I think we want to get something to limit our area and then ask for a photo.
43:53You want a custom radar?
43:54Maybe.
43:55If we did 0.4, it would basically tell us, is he in town or not?
44:00And I think it would cover more of the woods.
44:03Let's go with that.
44:04All right.
44:04I think this spot is good enough.
44:06So 0.4-mile radar?
44:07Yep.
44:08Oh, man.
44:09Oh, man.
44:11That radar ends, like, maybe 50 feet that way.
44:14So it is a miss.
44:15But it cuts off, like, the start of this road.
44:19That could be kind of misleading because I am so close to the edge of that radar.
44:25Let's let him know.
44:28Hopefully that makes them make a mistake.
44:32That's all I've got right now.
44:33Hopefully that makes them make a mistake.
44:35We have an answer.
44:36What do we hope for?
44:37I hope that it's a miss.
44:39It's a miss.
44:40Okay, good.
44:40Okay.
44:41We go to town.
44:41Great.
44:42Go to town.
44:43Okay, so I think tallest structure, right?
44:45Okay.
44:45Yeah, hit it.
44:46Tallest structure you can see.
44:46Yeah, hit it.
44:47Photo of the tallest structure I can see.
44:51Not a lot of structures.
44:53I think the tallest structure I can see is this wall.
44:56That's probably pretty useful.
44:57But let me tell you, there's a lot of these bad boys around here.
45:00They love stacking rocks.
45:02So that sheep stay or don't, or I don't know what.
45:07They do something, I think, with sheep.
45:10Oh, we got it.
45:11Mmm.
45:12Okay.
45:13It's kind of in between.
45:15That's woodsy, dude.
45:16That's the tallest structure you can see.
45:18Well, like, he's clearly in stuff, but he's not in, like, those woods.
45:22I kind of think maybe go down towards the canal again.
45:24Okay.
45:24So we got those two questions back to back, so we got some rewards.
45:29We did that radar.
45:30Draw two.
45:30Pick one.
45:31A little five-minute bonus.
45:33And we're a little five-minute bonus.
45:34Well, a little five-minute bonus never hurt anybody, I'll tell you that much.
45:37And then for the photo, we just draw one off the top.
45:41Another 15.
45:42We keep drawing time bonuses.
45:43Who knows?
45:44Who knows what could happen?
45:45My theory is he's along the water.
45:47Okay.
45:48Because I think, like, this feels like the kind of embankment.
45:52So I want to go check out the water down here.
45:54Okay.
45:54That wall looks like this.
45:56Yeah, but it's clearly, like, less kempt.
45:59Maybe we just want to do a photo towards him just to get more data.
46:02It appears that they're sort of heading back over the river.
46:05They're heading the wrong way.
46:06We love this.
46:07We love this.
46:08These sick freaks want another photo of me.
46:12You can see more of the wall, I guess.
46:14We know he's along the canal.
46:16Well, I don't know if we know that.
46:17Well, we strongly suspect it based on the fact that that wall looks very similar.
46:21Do we think that he went rogue and, like, waded up the river in some way?
46:25I just want to take a quick look up here.
46:27Cut.
46:30Vibes up here are very promising, Adam.
46:33These piles of rocks are, like, not it, but, like...
46:37Oh, yeah.
46:37Okay.
46:39He sent the picture.
46:40I do agree now.
46:41I think, actually, you're right.
46:42He's somewhere in these f***ing woods.
46:44I actually think that this might be sort of a nightmare.
46:46We should try to split this in half top-bottom.
46:50And if it's bottom, then we know he's down in these woods.
46:53With that bad boy out of the way, another card.
46:56Curse of the Cairn.
46:59Curse of the Cairn.
47:00You have one attempt to stack as many rocks on top of each other as you can in a freestanding tower.
47:05Once your tower falls, the Seekers must construct a rock tower of the same number of rocks before asking another question.
47:12Well, I can do that, actually.
47:16Any rock I can reach is fair game.
47:19Let's go ahead and get our rock tower started.
47:22Boom.
47:22This rock tower's coming together, actually.
47:24Five.
47:28I don't think that they're going to have any problem building a five-rock tall tower, but I don't know.
47:37It'll probably be annoying.
47:38I think I can do five pretty easily with anything.
47:40This is a rock.
47:43Two.
47:44Three.
47:44Pretty good.
47:45Four.
47:46Now you just need a little pebble.
47:49Five.
47:49Easy.
47:50Okay, let's do this.
47:50I think let's ask that and trend towards that other wood section.
47:54Are we closer to or further from whales?
47:56Well, let me tell you, we are further from whales than they are.
47:59So congratulations on being closer to whales.
48:03That was probably pretty smart.
48:05But I'll tell you what, we get to draw three cards and keep one of them.
48:08There's Soothsayer.
48:10Discard to draw three.
48:12Ten minute bonus.
48:14There is a decent argument for taking a discard to draw three
48:19so that we can discard our time trap and our five-minute bonus.
48:23Let's do that.
48:24And we're going to draw three new cards.
48:27Curse of the Impenetrable Fog.
48:30Curse of the Impenetrable Fog.
48:32For the next hour, any time the Seekers reach a street intersection,
48:35they must assign each direction to a number on their die.
48:38They may assign a direction to multiple numbers,
48:40but each direction must be assigned to at least one.
48:43Then they roll the die to see what direction to go.
48:46Casting cost, roll a die.
48:47If it's odd, this curse has no effect.
48:50Discard one, draw two.
48:51Twenty minute bonus.
48:52Curse of the Impenetrable Fog is kind of awesome right now.
48:55Let's try and play that.
48:56We're going to roll a die.
48:57If it's odd, then this one is basically toast.
49:01Let's roll.
49:03Even.
49:05Let's go ahead and send it.
49:06Yeah, this doesn't look promising.
49:10I agree, this does not seem right.
49:13It's cursed us again.
49:15With what?
49:16The curse of the Impenetrable Fog.
49:19We have to roll the dice to determine what directions we can go for the next hour.
49:24We're going to run into darkness soon.
49:26Once we get down here, let's sit down and try to work out what we've actually eliminated,
49:30and then we can figure out what to ask, okay?
49:32We want to know where we're going before we start moving.
49:39It's got to be super limited what's even left at this point.
49:42I wouldn't hate a quarter mile radar.
49:44It would be like, are you in here or are you up here?
49:47Up there would be really annoying, so, okay, might as well.
49:51Let's do it.
49:51I'm afraid the answer is no.
49:56I am further than a quarter mile from them.
49:58You know what this means.
50:00Two more cards.
50:0115-minute bonus and Curse of the Pong champion.
50:04Well, I certainly can't do Curse of the Pong champion, and so I will go out of the tank with a cheeky little 15-minute bonus.
50:13Miss.
50:13Oh, no, that's not good.
50:14Okay, but that excludes a ton.
50:16It does, but it means we have to go further.
50:18It means he has to be up here.
50:20Okay, let's get moving.
50:21Okay, left or right?
50:22One for left, anything else for right?
50:26Awesome.
50:27So here we want to go right, and this right is actually completely fine.
50:32One for left, two through six for right.
50:36Four.
50:36Good job.
50:37We want to go straight.
50:38One for left.
50:39We want anything else to go straight.
50:42Damn it.
50:43Okay.
50:43I'm doing bad at rolling.
50:44Why don't we switch?
50:45Yeah.
50:46Wow, this is a really annoying new Curse that we came up with.
50:49You know, if the audience wanted to play with this Curse, they could buy the expansion pack.
50:54Six, five, everything else.
50:56Okay.
50:57I'm going to level with you.
51:02I got to pee so bad.
51:04It's up to Sam and Adam to save me from my own blender.
51:08Six, five, everything else.
51:10Yeah.
51:11Awesome.
51:12I think we're just going to be circling this neighborhood all night, Adam.
51:14If we were able to get on those stairs, I feel like that'd be a pretty straight shot up.
51:17Okay.
51:18We don't want a one or six.
51:21There's a chance a photo away from him would give just some spillover info.
51:26Do we want to try to go up these stairs?
51:28Yeah.
51:29Everything else.
51:30Everything but six.
51:31There we go.
51:32Okay.
51:32All right.
51:33All right.
51:35After all of those questions, it does look like they're finally heading at least my general direction.
51:42Have they figured out where I am?
51:43There's a chance he's around here.
51:45Sure.
51:46What about path?
51:48I mean, the widest street?
51:49He's going to be on a path.
51:51I want to know what that path looks like.
51:53Ask that.
51:53Another question from our boys.
51:56I don't think we've ever considered asking this during the endgame before, but they just want to see what street I'm on looks like.
52:02Pretty clever.
52:03I will take a picture of this.
52:06I do think that that is going to give them a lot of valuable information.
52:09Hand is full, so we'll have to discard something.
52:12What do I get?
52:1310-minute bonus.
52:14Better than the discard one, draw two.
52:16I think with this and this and the very teeny tiny area they have left, they should be able to find me.
52:25But it's getting dark.
52:27The darker it gets, the trickier it's going to be.
52:30Losing daylight.
52:32Okay.
52:33He's on a gravel path.
52:35We can see a gravel path.
52:36That actually is helpful.
52:37Where the f*** do we get a gravel path?
52:39Six.
52:40Really don't want a six here.
52:42Okay.
52:43Nice.
52:43Okay.
52:45It would seem that they are slowly dredging their way up the hill.
52:49That's why I went up.
52:51It's hard to go up.
52:52We think we definitely don't want to go that way.
52:54Yeah.
52:54Really don't want to go that way.
52:55We would like to go this way.
52:57We should have a six, one, everything else.
53:00Yep.
53:01Four.
53:02Nice.
53:02Okay.
53:03Let's go.
53:04And the end game sure is harder without that little strata questions.
53:09These walls are like...
53:11Yeah, although a lot of walls look like that.
53:13I think they've gotten me at this point.
53:16Okay.
53:16We really need this left.
53:18Okay.
53:18So six, everything else.
53:19Yeah.
53:21It's a three.
53:22Okay.
53:24Please be here.
53:25I mean, what else could there be left?
53:27If he's not here, then I'm really lost.
53:29Real close.
53:32Real close.
53:34I'm not seeing gravel yet.
53:37That's gravel.
53:38I think that's the road, Sam.
53:39No, this is Mark.
53:40That's...
53:41This is Rowland Lane.
53:42So...
53:42We gotta roll.
53:43Okay.
53:44Six, everything else.
53:45Six, everything else.
53:47Oh, come on.
53:48Ben, it's gotta be here.
53:50It has to be here.
53:51Ben, the shrubbery is right.
53:52I know you're here, Ben.
53:55Ben, we see you.
53:57He's there.
53:58He's there.
53:59He's there.
54:01Hi.
54:01Good evening, fellas.
54:20Good evening.
54:21Good little endgame there.
54:22Well, that's all I could do at this point.
54:26All right.
54:26Well, Sam, I think it's gonna be up to you.
54:31Sam, I bestow you with the power of the hider deck.
54:34All right.
54:35See you on Friday.
54:37Okay.
54:37Go ahead.
54:38Bye.
54:40Here he goes off into the night.
54:43Hey, really cool spot, though.
54:45I know.
54:45This place is awesome.
54:46Children kept coming up to me, and they were like,
54:48why are you here?
54:49This place sucks.
54:50And I was like, you have no idea.
54:52This place is awesome.
54:53All right.
55:20Welcome to my round.
55:21I want to take you on a little peek behind the curtain.
55:26All day yesterday, when Adam and I were trying to find Ben,
55:30Adam kept being like Sam.
55:32You gotta pick a good hiding zone.
55:35And, you know, I was planning to,
55:37but, like, surely if I pick somewhere good and nice and aesthetic,
55:44that's what he'll suspect me to do.
55:48So, surely the best hiding spot is somewhere the opposite of that.
55:52Therefore, I've come to perhaps the most objectively soulless, lifeless,
55:59just straight-up bad place in the UK.
56:04This place sucks.
56:06Thank you for watching this episode on Nebula.
56:11As always, we really appreciate you watching over here and not at that other place, you know?
56:15Don't forget to listen to this week's episode of our after-show podcast, The Layover.
56:19And why not check out Patrick Willems' film, The Dinner Plan,
56:22which is a wonderful short film with a, frankly, kind of crazy stacked cast
56:26that Sam and I both worked on as PAs.
56:29And we'll find out if it's good in literally two hours,
56:31because literally right after this, we're going to the premiere.
56:32We're going to the premiere.
56:33We don't know if it's good yet, but we're going to know in two hours.
56:35I really think that it's good.
56:36I read the script.
56:38The script is good.
56:38It's probably good.
56:39Yeah, but we've got to finish these, because we've got to go to the premiere.
56:41We do sort of have to hurt.
56:42Like, actually, genuinely, in the real world.
56:44All right, bye.
56:45Bye.
