00:36Tando Bago, the Chandia Community continued its protest for the 5th consecutive day
00:41against the disqualification of Union Council Khan Bada Chairman Fida Hussein Memon
00:45for depriving the villages of the Chandia Community from development works.
00:49During this time, Chairman Fida Memon has threatened and tried to suppress the protesters
00:53by showing false footage videos.
00:55Chandia Ithad-e Pakistan strongly condemned these threats and said,
00:59we are not afraid of your threats.
01:01You should immediately get development work done for the Chandia Community,
01:04otherwise we will call for peaceful protests all over Pakistan.
01:08The protest was led by Mubeen Chandu, Ijaz Chandu, Umar Chandu,
01:13Ala Baksh Chandu and Imran Chandu in front of Tando Bago Press Club.
01:17The protesters told reporters that no development work had been done in any village of the Union Council for the last 32 months.
01:24They clarified that the Union Council receives a budget of about 1 million rupees every month,
01:29but despite this, water pipes have not been installed in Saeed Khan Chandu, Usman Chandu,
01:34Weisand Khan Chandu, Ishmael Chandu and other villages and no project has been completed.
01:39The protesters said that Chairman Fida Hussein Memon has deprived the people of basic amenities by embezzling a huge amount of budget.
01:46They accused MNA Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, Paji Rasul Baksh Chandu,
01:51MPA Arbab Amir Amanullah and Bibi Yasmin Shah demanded immediate action to hold the UC chairman accountable.
01:57Chandia Ithad Pakistan announced that the protest will continue until the development works are completed and the people get their legitimate rights.
